When Amelie fled her kingdom and traveled into the White Forest, she didn't know what to expect. With her role as a spy put behind her, she is free to explore her mage roots. But no one can run away from the past and when it calls to her, Amelie knows she must go back.
Seth's grief over losing Amelie feels like a bottomless pit and he doesn't know if he can climb out. But when Candor is faced with civil war and Claudia is on the verge of losing the throne, he knows Amelie would want him to help. Little does he know Amelie is still alive and when she returns, everything shatters. Friendships are tested, sisters are pitted against each other, and the ache of lost love is unbearable. It will take Amelie and Seth new strengths - both mage and human - to overcome the obstacles.
This book contains some mature themes and situations and is intended for mature audiences.
Cara Coe is a Houston, Texan native, a wife, a mother of three, a librarian, a traveler (when she can), a recipe follower, a home provider to an English sheepdog abandoned at her library, a lover of books, an okay driver, and above all- the part of her that permeates everything else in her life- a dreamer. She began writing when her family got their first computer at 9 years old and the only program available to use on it was a word processor. Turning her imagination into words soon filled all of her free time and she hasn't looked back since. The Hidden Princess is her first novel.

My gosh what a thrill this book was and its not over! Oh the emotions the book has got me feeling... man I need a drink. aw thanks
me at 96% of the book
Me when at 100% of the book I realized book three was not out!!!
Ms. Cara Coe love I need the next book like yesterday!
I really loved the second installment of this series, maybe even more than the first one. Other than that it was waaaay too short and the ending was kind of predictable, I can't complain about anything. Love Amelie, love Seth, love their love. Just lots of love for this book :) Plus, I'm really astonished that not more people read this series!
I am screaming, this second book gave me so much anxiety! In this one we delve deeper into the world of the mages, who are under the oppressed rule of the White Queen. Amelie finds out just how depraved and cruel the queen is, under the veneer of a benevolent mask. Helping Hannah and Simmon through the seemingly small acts of resistance by saving the lives of mage children doomed under the queens rule. Our lovers are reunited on uncertain ground as war comes for Claudia and Seth, trying to keep the kingdom from crumbling. There is just so much to process! And so many tearful reunions. Please Cara Coe, I need to know what happens next!
Well written. This book manages to hold the readers interest throughout. I love the fact that Seth and Amelies characters are strong. One character's personality does not overshadow the other persons. I cannot wait for the next book.
Can't wait for the next one! I really enjoyed this story. Although it honestly wasn't as good as the first one, I am satisfied with the fact that Seth is alive and there is a chance of saving him. I hope the next book comes out soon. Good luck and thank you!
The White Forest was just as good as the Hidden Princess! This series has everything, from drama, to romance, and sci-fi. I highly recommend this book to all readers!
