When an accident threatens to destroy his entire world, Fox will have to choose between fighting for what he loves or letting his past dictate his future.

I read Hey Sunshine earlier this year and I absolutely loved it. I was so excited for Night Fox but I had no idea what to expect for the plot. I knew I would love it no matter what but I had no idea what was going to happen, especially with the ending of Hey Sunshine. This book ended up blowing me away and my heart is still trying to recover.
Night Fox is from the perspective of Fox, which I wasn't really expecting but I really loved it. I felt like I got to know Fox so much more.
Of course, I loved the characters so much. They were believable and flawed and so wonderful.
Avery continues to be amazing. She was one of the best written NA characters I've ever read about. I loved how she spoke her mind and would tell it like it is. She was so honest and open with Fox.
I could go on and on about Fox. He was so good but he also wasn't over the top perfect. He was so well written and I think other authors (especially New Adult authors) should take note from Tia on how to write male characters and relationships. Fox and Avery have such a great relationship. If they had a fight, they would talk it out. Both of them are open and honest with each other. Avery isn't a jealous idiot and Fox isn't a controlling asshole. They represent a healthy relationship that sets a good and realistic example to readers.
Overall, I could go on and on about this book. It's so amazing and I loved it so much. I was so emotionally invested in the story and the characters. I'm so in love with this series and I can't recommend it enough.

Thank you Tia for sending me a copy of Night Fox to review!

I read Hey Sunshine (book #1 in this trilogy) back in August, and again just before reading this, and it has quickly become one of my favorite New Adult novels ever. Night Fox was just as amazing.

Night Fox takes you on an emotional journey of love and loss, and it was completely heart-wrenching. I spent the first 1/3 of this beauty crying so hard I couldn't breathe. Tia knows just how to shatter your heart, while leaving you feeling hopeful that love will win out in the end.

I can't say much about this story without ruining it for you guys, so all I will say is that you need to read this if you are a fan of New Adult. This story has incredible characters, beautiful writing, and a love story that burrows itself deep in your heart, leaving you longing for a Fox of your very own.

Fox is, and shall always remain one of my very favorite fictional men. He is kind, and thoughtful. Beckett Fox is the epitome of a good guy, and as much as I love a Bad Boy, they've got nothing on a truly good man. He's also a bad ass search and rescue fire fighter, that in and of itself is an incredibly attractive trait.

Also, I can't forget to mention the main characters, Avery Kent. She is a fantastic female protagonist. Strong, caring and independent. I love her. I also absolutely adore Annabelle Kent. She is so adorable and hilarious.

Ultimately, this series will always be something I go back to. I can't wait to see how their story ends in the third and final book.

If I loved Fox before, now I love him even more *sighs*.

I really enjoyed being in Avery's head but being in Fox's was utterly amazing, it was as if I had had the accident with him, and the consequences were the same for me.

I loved that the author gave us more Lucas, he is a character that intrigued me; so, I was so happy to get more about him.

Bells, that baby is the cutest, love her!

Avery, girl, I'm sure the smoke is going to vanish soon, hang in there Sunshine.

Now, When do I get the next book?

If you guys follow me on Instagram then you probably already know how much I adore Hey Sunshine, the first book in the series. I read it this summer and since then I have been DYING to know what happened next, it has been killing me not knowing. Hey Sunshine DOES end in a pretty big cliffhanger, but those of you that haven’t read the first book are in luck… You’ll have the opportunity to pick up book 2 immediately.

The prologue is set in Avery’s point of view. Hey Sunshine from what I remember is all Avery’s point of view. The entire book is in Mr. Beckett Fox’s point of view. Which was surprising at first, I expected it to alternate like a lot of new adult books do nowadays. Nope, all in Fox’s point of view. Which, considering what happens (to avoid spoilers I won’t say), it was a breath of fresh air and nice to see things in his perspective. ESPECIALLY with what happened. Again, no spoilers.

I felt like I read a completely different story to be honest — in the best way possible. This was a completely different vibe and tone compared to Hey Sunshine. I was anxious and nervous pretty much this entire book. I wasn’t sure how this was going to play out. Also, because Tia hates all of us (TOTALLY kidding 120%; just my fangirl speaking), this ALSO ends in a cliffhanger — be warned! HOWEVER, you HAVE to read this if your a fan of new adult. I will continuously recommend this series at every opportunity I get. I personally think cliffhangers are fun! Yes, the waiting is not all that fun — but we get all excited for the sequel!

Fox is my babe forever and I’m pretty sure I fell in more love with him (if that’s even possible). I have fallen deep for these characters and I’m so incredibly attached to them. When it does come time to say goodbye, it’s going to be very difficult.

Tia Giacalone is one of my all time favorite authors; she’s an incredibly talented author and her books aren’t getting the love they deserve. You need to meet the gang; Avery, Annabelle, Fox and the whole family! It is IMPOSSIBLE not to fall in love with them, they all have a HUGE chunk of my heart and will continue to hold that chunk forever. AB-SO-LUTE-LY LOVED!

Seriously could Fox get any more perfect! Night Fox is my favorite book of the year so far. I'm so mad at myself for waiting so long to finish this book. When Fox got hurt, my heart broke for Avery. I couldn't even begin to imagine what it feels like to have your significant other to not even remember who you are. But of course Fox cleaned up his act and finally let Avery back in. I loved how he was always fighting to get his memory back so he could be with his family. Fox is just...SWOOOON. But that Cliffhanger, ugh Tia why do you do this to us. I loved every single word in this book. I can't even say which one is my favorite, Hey Sunshine or Night Fox..hmm

Mind-Blowingly Amazing! I was at the edge of my seat for most of the book. Tia knows how to write an amazing, heart- wrenching story that's for sure.
So Night Fox picks up pretty much exactly where Hey Sunshine ends and I won't say too much because I don't want to spoil anyone. Hey Sunshine ends with a wonderful cliffhanger but Night Fox will fix all those problems right ups.
When a tragic accident strikes the life of Avery and Fox, they don't fully know how to cope with it yet. It breaks Avery to her core and leaves Fox confused in many ways. This wasn't supposed to happen to them. But now they are trying to deal with what has happened. Will this accident make them stronger or pull them apart?
Tia has written a beautiful story on love, lose, and pain. But the story just unfolds before your eyes and you can't help but to feel for these characters. They pull at your heartstrings for sure. I can't wait to read the next story in this series and see where these characters will end up. They deserve their happily ever after.
I highly recommend this series and I hope you give it a shot!

"Thank you for waiting."
Now, you might be wondering why I chose a generic sounding quote for my review. Well, this is the part where I tell you that each word in that quote weighs more than an elephant each. That quote has so much meaning behind it that I wish I could explain it but I can't.You need to read it in order to see why. When I read that quote, I spontaneously started sobbing.
This book was even more intense and emotional than the first, in my opinion. It is my favorite so far and I couldn't even tell you how much of a mess I was throughout it all. Tia hit on a subject that might as well be one of my ultimate fears. It's a worst-case scenario for everyone involved. My heart hurt so much from the beginning but I couldn't stop reading anyway. It started with a rush and Tia didn't hold any punches. It just got better and better until the point where I thought I would burst from emotional overload.
One of the MANY things I admire and love about Fox... is his tremendously gigantic heart. He is the perfect example of what a man should be. It's heart-breaking that we will never get to meet him in real life but I guess we have to settle for reading about him. It's rare when I get to read about a male character like him but I treasure this book more because of it. All of these characters are so wonderfully thought out and I felt like they were my closest friends. Their hardships were my very own and it was horrible not being able to help them out.
This book is heart-breaking but also heart-warming. It taught me that you have to live your life to the fullest, no matter what. That the positive outcomes of doing so easily overshadow the negatives. I am so obsessed with this series, I NEED the next book so bad!!!! And that cliffhanger is killing me!!!

In Night Fox, we follow the life of a twenty eight year old firefighter (Fox) and search and rescue personal. But he soon forgets everything he knew from a major accident he gets in.
After 5 days waiting patiently in the hospital, Avery (Fox's wife) cannot wait for Fox to wake up out of his coma. Missing his scent, touch, voice, and everything about him, it's a relief when Fox finally wakes up.. Or is it.
After waking up, Fox is in a complete daze, especially when his entire family tells him that he recently got into a motorcycle accident. All this time, he thought that he got severely injured and his best friend died when they were saving hikers from a wild fire.
Everything about his best friend dying and the wild fire was true, but it all happened about a year ago.
And to top that he has a wife named Avery and a daughter named Annabelle.
Fox just can't handle the pressure of everything, especially when it comes to the fact that he can't remember a a single thing about his wonderful relationship with his wife and daughter that everyone says he has.
Will Fox ever regain his memories of his beautiful life he had all before the accident?

This novel was a complete tearjerker that was full of aguish and romance at the same time. I enjoyed how emotional and heartwarming the author made her story, and I loved every second of it.
Gosh.. Fox was the best character I've ever read in my entire life! He's not only caring, but his overall personality was determined to heal his family and his life. Even though he goes through so many emotions throughout Night Fox, it never truly brings him down. His love for Avery and Annabelle is absolutely beautiful.
Avery is so strong throughout Fox's rehab and emotions. And I love the fierceness that Tia created in her character. As for Annabelle... She's a complete sweetheart, I love how adorably cute she is.

Night Fox is thrilling, beautiful, heartbreaking and throughly lovable. I've honestly cried so many times while reading this novel. It shows the importance of not just family, but the connection you have with your other loved ones, and the bonds you all share together. Fox, Avery, and Annabelle's character's personalities have so many traits that I want to have in my future.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Please note: You need to read Hey Sunshine before you read this book.  Both have cliffhangers but they are worth it!  Hey Sunshine was written from Avery's point of view, but this book is written from Fox's point of view so it has a totally different feel.
Beckett Fox is a firefighter, a Hotshot at that. He was getting ready to return home to his wife Avery in Texas, when he had a motorcycle wreck in Washington state, where he was working during fire season.  Avery goes to Seattle only to find out that he is in a coma.  When he awakens, he doesn't remember anything from the last year, meaning he doesn't remember Avery.  The last thing he remembers is a tragic accident from a year before that killed another Hotshot and a teenage girl they were trying to save.  The remaining story is him trying to regain his life and marriage.
This story hits major fear points for many people.  Fox is in a horrific motorcycle accident and you can feel the fear that Avery has, first that he's going to die and then that he'll never wake up.  Then Fox can't remember Avery, questioning whether he should try to remember or if he should let Avery go.  The major question of the book is "Can true love strike twice, even with the same person?" Is it our circumstances that define our relationships or are we attracted to the person no matter the circumstance?  Fox is an amazing character, Avery is a strong heroine.  I am awaiting the next book to see what happens with these two.

I was so excited for the follow up of Hey Sunshine that i had to read it right away. After the way that book ended I knew this one had to be worth it.

It's a good book 2. I can't say a lot so i won't give away how the previous book ends, but know it's angsty. Fox is trying to make sense of his life and Avery is there to guide him through it - if only he'd let her.
Their relationship is the one suffering, but I loved seeing Avery fight for what she wants and decide when it's time to let go. This ignited a fire under Fox's behind and he realized it's now or never.

I love this author's writing - it flows beautifully, it's easy to get caught up in; the descriptions are so lifelike, that I felt like i was there all the time. Her characters are not only swoon worthy. but they most importantly they feel real; they go through every day problems, and in the end they solve it juts like everyone else.

Can't wait to read more books by Tia <3

When I signed up for this blog tour I had no idea Night Fox is book 2 in a series; but intrigued by the book’s blurb, I picked up Hey Sunshine by Tia Giacalone and I was in love. I adored Avery and Fox, and sweet little Annabelle and after the twisted epilogue we got I couldn’t wait to see where the author will take this story next.

Night Fox picks up where Hey Sunshine stopped, but there’s a twist here. After being in a terrible motorcycle accident, Fox doesn’t remember anything about Avery and Annabelle or his wonderful life with them. He’s trapped in a constant fight between past and present – a past that isn’t all that pretty, that involves loss of friends and innocent bystanders and a present that’s all he’s ever wanted but doesn’t think he deserves.

“It’s love, Beckett. It’s messy and unpredictable, but if you give it your whole heart, it’s always enough.”

What I enjoyed the most about this book was hearing our hero’s voice. The author did a great job at describing his emotions and fears and it made me fall in love with him even more. His interactions with everyone around him where perfectly written – he didn’t get an out just because he was in the accident; they all wanted him to man up and fight for the two most important people in his life. And fight he did.

Avery is still the same feisty NA heroine I liked in book 1. In Night Fox she’s fighting for a man she loves, one who doesn’t remember her, but she doesn’t take no for an answer. One thing that separates her from other NA leading ladies is that she’s real, she doesn’t run away from tough times and doesn’t wait to be rescued.

Avery and Fox’s relationship is an amazing one. They are each other’s rock. They have fights here and there, but in the end they always talk to one another trying to fix whatever it is that wasn’t working. Fox is a real guy, nothing bad boy about him, apart from the leather jacket and the motorcycle and Avery is every girl out there – she isn’t virginal, she’s one that had a lot of let downs but somehow always came out on top.

“Find your focus again. Let Avery in – and let her strength carry you both for a little while.”

All in all, Night Fox is a great follow up to a wonderful first book. It’s a story about love and forgiveness, about letting go of the past and living in the present and looking forward to an unpredictable future. This is one NA series that will stay with me forever.

What the hell, Tia Giacalone! I mean, I seriously loved this book and to have Beckett Fox's perspective! But it certainly hit me right in the feelers by golly.

After the epilogue in Hey Sunshine that left my mind spinning, I dove straight into this book. Fox has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on his way home to his family. My heart broke for Avery and his family seeing him in the hospital, but it was absolutely saddening to see him have no memory of the past year and most importantly, Avery and Annabelle. My poor Fox, it was quite hard seeing him so lost and confused in the beginning, along with him struggling to get his memories back.

His saving grace is his wife, Avery. She never leaves his side, is always loving and supportive, and has full faith in their love, even during the moments when she is hurting. Truly Avery is a remarkable woman. And I can't forget little Annabelle, who is the light of Avery and Fox's life, especially during the difficult times. This novel really shows the reader what real love is all about. There are times when it's not easy, times when it's absolutely amazing, and in Avery and Fox's case, to never give up because what they have is a genuine forever kind of love.

"You're already my wife, but I never take that for granted, not for one minute of any day. I love you. Thank you for keeping the faith in me, faith in us. " ~ Fox

Now as for the ending things got kind of intense. Someone from the past is starting trouble, but I'm glad that both Fox brothers are working together. And I like Lucas and Heather together. For now Tia left me hanging in suspense for book three. I NEED BOOK THREE IN MY LIFE!

“It’s love, Beckett. It’s messy and unpredictable, but if you give it your whole heart, it’s always enough.”

Good God Tia Giacalone sure knows how to write cliffhangers. I hate them but Lord do I love them and boy do I need the third book like I need air to survive.

Night Fox picks up right where Hey Sunshine's cliffhanger of an epilogue ended. We get a special treat this time since we're viewing the story through Fox's eyes. It was eye opening to be able to get inside that boy's head and learn how his mind works. Fox goes through a lot of growth and healing during Night Fox, dealing with a tragedy from the past that comes back in a vividly haunting way. Along with emotiinal healing, Avery and Fox are tested during what should be the happiest time of their lives, it made for very stressful reading.

The last few chapters had things looking up when in another whirlwind ending things take a drastic turn towards danger. I have a feeling Fox and Avery have a few hurdles they will have to make it through in order to get to their happily ever after. I just pray that in the end their family stays intact.

Five Amazing Stars! This is the second book in the Hey Sunshine Series. The story continues from where it left off in the first book Hey Sunshine. Avery and Fox are trying to cope after a tragic accident happens. Will this this major life alternating event pull them apart or bring them closer together? I don't want to say too much to give away the story but you must read it. This is a beautiful love story that makes you want to cry one moment and laugh the next. I am anxious to read the next book in the series to see what happens to Avery and Fox.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.

This book was everything, ALL! OF! THE! STARS! I knew I would love this book no matter what. I loved that it was from Fox's perspective, it gave it a little bit more of something extra. Fox and Avery are everything, I absolutely adore them, and Annabelle too. I didn't want the book to end and when it did (sad face) I just wanted to read it all over again. I can't get enough of this series, I can't wait to see what happens next. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, book 3 can't come soon enough, I need it, NOW!

Fox is trying to remember and Avery is there for him. Annabelle is the Lil girl who helps him with her sweetness and love. Avery does everything she can without trying to pressure him. All it takes is time.

One mission to help boys in need is one that also helps Fox. There are so many things that Fox doesn't remember, but bits and pieces are coming on his own and some he has people who help him. Now there is trouble and he will not stop until he is sure Avery and Annabelle are safe. This ends on a huge cliffhanger and can't wait to read the next one.

Another awesome book from Tia! I can't wait for the last book in the series. I always enjoy reading about Avery and Fox, even in the beginning of this book when I sometimes got very frustrated. But, what I really loved in this second book was a glimpse into Lucas and Heather's relationship. I hope Tia will write a book featuring them as the main characters.
