A former Presbyterian minister, Hahn converted to Catholicism in 1986 after an intense personal and theological journey, which he details in his popular book Rome Sweet Home, co-written with his wife, Kimberly Hahn. Hahn holds the Father Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. This second reading of this book helped picked up a few things...or I read with an 'older eye'. The ISB series is a great resource. The footnotes are very descriptive. A Biblical school teacher reminded us that the Bible was inspired by God, but footnotes were not.
ISB lists several possible interpretations in their notes which gives the reader more insight.

You can't go wrong with the ICSB. Find my reviews for others in the series. Just waiting for the entire OT to come out in one volume/set. Indispensable.
