Patience, Seth and Abner have been inseparable since childhood. Seth, an orphaned foundling suspected of powers no natural child should possess, and Abner, the firstborn son of their Puritan village’s minister, shouldn’t have even been friends. But they are bound together by their mutual love for Patience, or “Pitty,” as Seth insists she must be called. When her father sends her to Boston to be married to someone else, their circle is shattered. Seth leaves the village and then the colonies in search of answers about his heritage, and Abner follows the path laid out for him by his own father all the way to ruin. But when their beloved Patience is threatened with a charge of witchcraft, the circle comes together again. Abner wants only to save her from the inquisition he unwittingly began. But Seth will use his powers and the magic of their mutual bond to seek a dark revenge—and to bind them together forever. PLEASE This story includes fantasy black magic and adultery against an abusive spouse (no direct description of abuse).

I may be a little biased because I love everything witchy. This story was well crafted, flowed nicely, and really made me want to punch Abner in the face. Definitely one of my favorites from Little Red Hen so far!
A fun, short witchy romance--Salem never sounded so sexy. All three main characters are unique and appealing, and the connection between them is both heartfelt and deliciously twisted.
