Spy Dogs #0

The Beginning

Rate this book
“The Beginning” strays away from the main character, Puggy from the spy dogs series, by bringing in a cute little Pomeranian named Harper. Harper is one of the dogs that were kidnapped by the aliens, Zork and Cyze, in the first three stories. This prequel tells the tale of little Harper and his owners, Joseph and Jessica. Harper thought he would have a fun vacation with Joseph, but he was proven wrong when Jessica tried to call all of the shots, leading Harper to escape their cabin which ultimately gets him captured. This side story featuring Harper tells the story of how everything came to be and how spy dogs was created.

Left my in suspense.

I enjoyed reading this book very much . It's incredibly entertaining and griping as it takes you on Harper's journey . The only downside to this book is that it leaves you on a cliff hanger and it feels more like a preview to the spy series than an actual book . The next books in the series ,which from my experience with the author promises to be fabulous, you have to pay for . However, it is great for a quick , fun read and in my opinion, the author succeeded in encouraging someone to read the series.

Yay Spy Dogs

Loved these little stories. Reading the prequel after the others in the series sparked an interesting conversation with my 8 year old on what a "prequel" is.... A very lengthy and sometimes confusing conversation!! Lo!.
