This book was recommended to me after I adopted a puppy from a litter I was fostering after I found out he was deaf. I subscribed to a seminar by the author and much of that seminar is summarized in this book. I'm glad I have the book to refer to. It is a good introduction to training a deaf puppy and covers basics. Training a deaf puppy takes a few adjustments and once you have essentials like signs you want to use for cues and your "clicker" sign, everything else can be done like you'd train a hearing dog. I can't say I learned anything new, but this is a good reference book to own.
