About the author

Nicole Martin Hill is the mother of three adult children and the grandmother of six, who she adores tremendously.
At a young age, Nicole had a dream of becoming an author, and that dream became a reality in 2015, when she wrote her first book entitled Betrayed, which is a three-part series.
Since writing her Betrayed series, she has gone on to write Blinded by Love, The Calm After the Storm, The Wife, Mistress, Chick on The Side (four-part series), Sleeping with The Devil (four-part series), and Vindictive Baby Mama (three-part series).
The self-published author is constantly at work writing, she has a total of fifteen (15) books that are currently out. She is currently working on her next project, Drama in The Pulpit, to be released soon.

It took me quite some time to finish this book. The story is good however it lack in development and was not concise. Some parts of the story seemed rushed while others parts of it dragged. There was a point in the story where I had to stop reading because I thought it was too much but realized that there are some girls who lack confidence and self esteem. There were numerous editing and grammatical errors however the typesetting was good. Fortunately, the characters were easy to follow and you were able to determine which were your favorites or not. This was my first read by this author and I believe with time and patience, her writing and editing will get better.

This book was truly amazing. It will take you on a emotional ride. I finished this book in 5 hours. I cried, laughed, fussed,and cussed at this book. The Author touch such a sensitive subject that many of us will never understand. I enjoyed every page. This is a must read!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!

That was a good story. I loved the way the ladies loved and cared for each other after everything they went through. I can't believe Cymone was so stupid but she didn't deserve all that pain. Maurice got exactly what he deserved, it should have happened sooner. Josh was dirty as hell, he got what he deserved also. I'm not going to go through every character but this was good from beginning to end.

Solid plot

With domestic abuse being the focal point of any story, you expect a certain degree of back and forth to happen between the scenes and characters. But, I do not expect full passages to be recreated from different povs. The premise was good, despite the lack of character development. The grammatical errors were also in abundance.

Love Is Blind!!!

This book reminds me of Eve's song "Love is Blind." It breaks your heart because there are really some people in this world that can't see some people for who they really are. This book may even be inspiring for anyone who may be going through an abusive relationship. I absolutely loved reading this book.❤❤❤

Good book

It was a good book, I just hated they kept repeating themselves so much. Mone really was immature cause there is no way I would've wanted to be with a murderer and rapist. Other than that good read.

I Loved it!!! Such a needed change. Well written with some great twist and turns. You won't want to put it down. The life lessons need to be read by every teenage girl. Maybe then they will not make some of these mistakes.Definitely an Author to follow.
