Lovin' A Hitta

Carol Johnson was shot and killed in Brownsville, Brooklyn, leaving behind her 12 year old daughter and 16 year old son. Fast forward six years later and Benji Johnson has grown up from the linty head boy from Bristol Street.
Chyna is turning nineteen and can't wait to get to college to get away from her over protective older brother Benji. Since their mother died and he stepped up to help raise her along with their aunt, his reigns are too tight. Not worried about school, but itching for a opportunity away from Benji, Chyna high tails it to the sandy beaches of Miami. In Miami she meets a sexy man by the name of, Kash. In love with his boss ways and swag, she jumps right into this fast pace relationship. What happens when Chyna finds out Kash may have something to do with her mother's murder?

But when Chyna leaves New York and jumps into the streets of Miami, he has no choice but to lay some bodies out. Murder may be his occupation, but he's a gentle giant. Until, Leyanna stumbles in his life. While taking out a target, Benji comes across Leyanna in a compromising position, which leaves him no choice but to take her with him. Leyanna's free sprit attitude is enough to get on uptight Benji's nerves, but do opposites really attract?

Nothing really to the story it moves fast, as far as the relationships you don’t get why the couples should be together or why they’re so into one another, besides Jojo. Even his situation seems like he’s settling though because of his bm. With the way Lilly was acting she seems to be on the verge of trying to get back with her bd now that he seems to be wanting to settle down.
Benji comes off as confused and just wanting someone to be with. Leyanna started as the good girl but quickly turned into just a jumpoff willing to do whatever for some money. Kash had all the security and extra going on but was still making moves like a street kid and it seemed like he had no care in the world to find out who hit Flex. I’m pretty sure Jojo was at the end but I’d be surprised if he’s not.

Jahquel J is a dope chic
It’s hard to keep saying it but I loved this book..... benji is my favorite biz he’s no joke, he protects his family and like me doesn’t allow ppl in easily, I’m happy he’s found Leanna she fits him like a glove. I finished but was sad I hope there’s a book 3

Wonderful Read!!!!
Ms. Jahquel is a kinda new author for me. I've read a few of her books but not many, however this book was very well done. I love the way Leyana was able to pull the love from Benji's damaged heart. The strength and maturity that both Chyna and Ley displayed was uplifting and a welcomed twist to see in this genre. The approach that she took regarding Kash's involvement with Chyna and Benji's mother's death, showed there are other alternatives that can be taken instead of automatic street justice. Jojo low key tucked me off with the way he chose to handle the revelation of Kash's involvement with their shared tragedy. He was unable to see past his own selfish need for revenge to ensure Chyna's happiness. I can't say it enough if you haven't read this book you most definitely will want to and I assure you, you will not be disappointed. I am IMPATIENTLY waiting for part 2. Please don't make us wait long Ms. J. Again excellent read!!!

Benji and jojo is right hand spoiled chyna and now that's she's going to college in Miami she hopes from freedom away from her brothers. Chyna ready to spread her wings and explore and meeting Leyanna she makes a friend. Benji on a job runs into leyanna and her loyalty to his secret makes him fall for her. Chyna meets Kash and she likes the idea of dating but when she reveals her past kash remembers he's the cause of her pain. Benji and jojo learns kash secret but on the strength of chyna they let it go but jojo isn't happy and to be continued.

Excellent read, but...
This book was really good and I understand that what goes around comes around, but I'm so confused. There has to be a part two that will explain JoJo's determination to get Kash. If Benji can move past it then why couldn't JoJo??? Is he lo key in love with Chy??? #confused

I'm lovin' all the Hittas, Lol!!! From Kairo to Benji and even Jojo... I know what Kash did was wrong but it a reason why him and Chyna cross paths... The ending had me in my feelings but I really got a feeling that Jojo shot Kash, but I'm hoping I'm wrong... Ready for part 2 ASAP!!!

Loving the Enemy
I hope Kash makes it? I'm wondering who done it? Glad Benji finally opened up his heart to Leyanna. Jojo and Lilly are still in love with each other. I can't wait until Benji and Jojo find out that it was Lilly's boyfriend who did that to Chyna.

Sheesh
I enjoyed the read however I wanted more from Benji's character. I also felt that there wasn't any suspense or shocking moment like I'm used to from an authoress of this caliber. Nonetheless., I'm ready for part 2

Lovin A Hitta
I wasn't feeling it at first but then I got into it and couldn't put it down. I'm excited about the next part. We knew what was gonna go down but who dunnit? I need to know and am looking for part 2 and hoping it's out now.

Good read
I enjoyed this book. I almost wanted it to be a series cause the ending was too sad for me I was rooting for cash. My fax was Benji tho. Great job
