***** 4 Stars *****

Cannot be read as a standalone

The story about Lexi and Lucca continues! After the dangers and issues at home, the couple go to Tuscany for safety. Lexi and her mother struggle with their traumatizing past, but Lucca helps them out of the darkness. Lucca is the perfect man, and he knows how to melt your heart.

There were some areas where I felt like the story could have been condensed. But overall, I enjoyed the story. I can't wait for the next book.

I was given an ARC of this in exchange for an honest review and I gave it five MASSIVE stars for being so bloody epic!!!

Lucca and Lexi are back in Luminoso: book four of the Luminara series and what a read! It has been an absolute pleasure following their journey together from the dark into the light. Luminoso was my highly anticipated release of 2015 and i had high expectations and S.J Molloy did not disappoint in this bomb shell of a book!

S.J Molloy has a way of sucking her readers into an emotionally charged, roller coaster of a ride and this story was no different. The flashbacks into Lexi and her family's escape from their "prison" was fraught with drama and had me biting my knuckles. It filled in gaps and helps you as reader to understand her character's behaviour.
Michael's "chapter" was so thrilling i swear my heart was in my mouth reading it. By keeping Michael lurking in the background, it was brilliant and helped to build the atmosphere of the book. We knew he was there, we just didn't know when he would strike but when he did, boy oh boy was it intense! One of the best chapters in my opinion, it was so cleverly written it was almost painful to read.

The last few chapters had me falling in love with Lucca all over again and had my heart breaking for him as his and Lexi's past, finally caught up with them and Lucca found himself reliving old nightmares. I found myself tearing up as this alpha male found himself reduced to a wreck as he tried to fend off the dark

I also found myself gaining a new found respect for Lexi's character as despite the horrific trauma she endures, she still manages to find an inner strength to come out fighting for her family!

And who could forget the transcendent love story that it has become, one that will stay with you long after the book!

Well done S.J Molloy i can't wait to read what you have install for them next.

Received this book as an ARC and this is an honest review.

SJs maturity in writing has exponentially expanded and this has become one of my favourite reads this year. It's the 4th book in the series about Lexi and Lucca who both have had troubled experiences in their pasts. They become a couple and bring each other into the light! It's a love story that highlights what can happen when you truly meet your soul mate even though there is darkness in your past which is attempting to bring you down at every opportunity. SJ writes with compassion and sensitivity with some events. The story flows well retelling what has happened in history. It follows the families, how Lucca and Lexi grow as a couple and forge a new journey in their future. A gripping story line that keeps you interested and engaged from cover to cover. Well done SJ. Don't keep us waiting too long for the next in the series.

I received a complimenty copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review.

Oh my golly golly gosh!!!!!
File A for Amazing!!!!

Luminoso is book 4 in this fantastic series by SJ Molloy and each book just gets better and better. Lucca and Lexi are engaged and expecting their first child they should be experiencing the happiest times of their lives but with the threat of Micheal Parks looking for Lexi and been out for revenge hanging over their heads it's hard to find the true happiness they both desire. Lucca will do anything in his power to keep Lexi and their unborn baby safe they decide to leave Scotland with Lexi's mum Grace and head to Tuscany to Lucca's family just praying the police will catch up with Micheal before its to late. Lexi and Lucca have lots to deal with throughout this book they are both fighters and strong willed characters but even the strongest of people can break when pushed to breaking point the question is will they be able to pull each other back into the light and fight for their family?
This book really played with my emotions throughout, happiness, heartbreak, revenge it has a bit of everything and it's definitely one of my favourite reads of 2015 just wish I could give it more than 5 stars as it thoughly deserves it, I can't wait to read more from Lucca and Lexi and hopefully SJ Molloy won't keep us waiting to long.

Holy freakin fantastic hell! What a ride this one is! First, read the series in order, the first 3 are available in a box set and it is well worth it. Luminosa - takes us back into the story a bit and then brings us full circle with Lexi and Lucca growing closer, Lexi dealing with her unplanned pregnancy and trying to deal with life hiding from her obsessed step-brother trying to find her and affecting her entire support system of family and friends.

S.J. makes Michael Parks seem so real, he is the thing nightmares are made of and we finally find out how she and her family escaped and came to live in Scotland with her Grandparent's. The dark and evil is palatable at times. Who will be left standing in the end? Will the light be enough to save them? What other secrets is Lucca hiding from Lexi?

The ride is worth the time - I can't say how much this book moved me. Although the ending is a bit cliffy it's not a screaming what the hell I'm going to tear my hair out till the next one is out.

Author: SJ Molloy
FOUR STARS
My word, just when you think they have been pushed to the limits, Lexi and Lucca are put up against their biggest fears and secrets are exposed and their pasts are back to haunt them.
Can Lucca keep Lexi and her family safe from Michael? Can Lexi, in her delicate condition handle all the stress and fear?

This book was received from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Luminoso is Book 4 in The Luminara Series, and a continuation of Lexi Robertson and Lucca Caruso’s story. Luminoso is not a standalone, so I highly recommend reading the series in order for continuity, story flow and development.

Boy, was this story a heart wrencher! There were incredible highs and unthinkable lows. We learn so much more about Lexi’s childhood and the unbearable hell she and her mother and brother endured, which gives you such understanding and insight as to why she is the way she is as an adult. As the story has progressed, you get glimpses into her life and psyche and begin to piece together whom she is. Luminoso ties together everything you’ve learned so beautifully, that you can’t help but admire and respect her, and root whole-heartedly for her happily ever after.

To say Lexi has had it rough is a gross understatement. Her childhood was something only nightmares can conceive. But hers was very real, and incredibly traumatic. As you learn more about it in Luminoso, you completely understand why she has shelled herself in and trusts only sparingly. But you also come to admire her for becoming the strong, feisty woman that she is, and are awestruck that someone who has had such horror in her life can trust at all and have such an amazing heart and soul for others. She really comes into her own in Luminoso, and you see what a stubborn spitfire she really is – almost to her detriment – and how truly strong a person can be when challenged. Besides, “the queen always protects her king.”

Her king, Lucca, is also her greatest protector. Along with his insatiable desire for his fiancée, he has an unrelenting need to keep her safe and protected always, but especially now that monster Michael from her childhood has returned. He will stop at nothing, including hiring top-notch security for her and everyone close to her, to make sure Lexi doesn’t come to harm again. Lucca has a hot temper with a short fuse and you do not mess with anyone close to him, or you will feel his wrath. And it is just this temper and volatility that has inadvertently placed Lexi in the greatest danger.

Author SJ Molloy has done it again with this installment. She really has done a remarkable job at keeping all the details – and there are a lot of details – straight and explained. Luminoso is such a satisfying continuation with its resolution of certain plot points, yet also leaving you wanting more and anticipating and speculating what comes next. The ending left me breathless, and I cannot wait for the next book because I NEED to see what happens with these characters. I would give this book 5/5 stars.

WOW! JUST WOW!

This series just gets better and better with each new book.
The next instalment of the continuing love story of Lexi and Lucca is here.
Without wanting to give away any spoilers. The horrific dark past of what Lexi and her family had to endure is back to haunt her. Michael is out and out for revenge. With Lucca's strong need to protect the woman of his life, the love of his life and the light of his life, he whisks her and her mother away to the safest place he can. think of, Tuscany. Because if she crumbles, he crumbles too.
This is my favourite book of the series in fact it's the best romance I've read this year. You wouldn't believe that this is the 1st series that SJ Molloy has written. Personally, I would put her on a par with some of the best selling 'A' listing romance authors I have read.

SJ Molloy's style of writing grabs hold of you with both hands from the very 1st page and just doesn't let go. It pulls you into the story along with the characters. Having you feel every feeling each character is feeling. My heart raced throughout this book and I wept with the dark, with the light and definitely with the love these 2 people hold for each other.
To read this book your definitely gonna need a FULL box of tissues, and plenty of uninterrupted time, cause once you start this, your not going to want to put it down.

I wish I could give this more than the 5 stars allowed, but I sure will give it the BIGGEST 5 I can.
I truly recommend you read this, and you WILL need to read from book 1 as this is a continuation.

File under A for ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Book 4 Luminoso by SJ Molloy of The Luminaria Series is due to be released on 27 October 2015, the next instalment of the Lexi and Lucca story. This is a definite recommended read for 2015, if you are not familiar with their story to date the first three books are on offer as a box set at a cost of £0.99 on Amazon, well worth the read.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0...

Book 1 – Lussaria
Book 2 – L’amore
Book 3 – Lucca’s Lust

I have to say that I was blown away by the latest book in this series, being selected by SJ Molloy to receive an advanced copy of her book, I spent the weekend reading and have to say that I have never every had so many emotional ups and downs as I did whilst reading this book. SJ Molloy’s writing style is such that you really feel everything that Lexi and Lucca go through. I can’t let too much away but needless to say there were parts where I was shouting no, please don’t let this happen. The ending being the biggest cliff hanger to date and having read the previous three books I have a feeling exactly where SJ is taking this story next. Cannot recommend this book series highly, enough a promise is a promise….

Alright so here's the deal-o ya'll this is the 4th book that again describes the all consuming love affair between the scrumptious hero Lucca and his light o love Lexi. Fantastic amorous escapades, and humorous dialog, I adore the way the author portrays the family and friends coming together as a whole and their undying support for each other.

That being said I am really very very bored of reading about the same old couple and the every day life they live. About 30% of this story is nothing but names, Lucca, Lexi, Cameron, Marco, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas, etc, you get the picture.

We do catch a glimpse into the captivity of Lexi, Cameron and mom in this nail biting piece. Michael Parks is the best deranged psychopath that's ever been written, it will keep you on your seat and longing for more, it will also have you looking under your bed and into your closet before you go to sleep at night! Your Welcome!

Thank you my Queen for allowing me to droll over Lucca again, I'm giving you a 4 stars because I think you could have cut down on all the names thrown in there, use a "family" and the cliffy at the end, how dare you!! =P

I Received this ARC of Luminoso for an honest review.

File F for Fantastic could not of been written any better SJMolloy thank you for bringing such an awesome series to us readers.

My reaction after Luminoso was WOW had to take time out to process what i just read and where to begin it was amazing.

The love between Lucca and Lexi is outstanding you couldn't have a better couple together as well as all the family and friends with all the love that comes together on occasions overwhelms you with how much love and affection there is between them all and the amazing news that brings them all even closer.
Knowing that the dark known as Michael lurks in the back ground just waiting for the right time to pounce is daunting because you don't want it to happen and ruin the bubble that's got so much Love and light.
You feel so many emotions while reading Luminoso Happiness, Love, joy, luck, heartache, sadness and Revenge it sucks you in till you have finished then leaves you breathless wanting more. Looking forward to the next chapter of The Luminara Series.

This is the continuation of Lexi and Lucca’s journey, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it is! Everything has been going so well for them both, and now everything is turned back upside down. Lucca will go to any lengths to protect his family and keep them safe. Lexi is hiding from an obsessed Michael.
This story is emotional, heartbreaking, with happiness, and revenge. This author has once again done a remarkable job in writing this story, and I was enthralled and intrigued throughout. It is wonderful when an author writes with such detail, that the reader is not left floundering!
I recommend this authors work for all, and I cannot wait to read the next instalment of this amazing series.

I recieved an Arc of the book for an honest review.

Lexi and Luccas story is one of the greatest love stories ever written. It's about dark pasts and a bright future. No matter what obstacles they may face their light, and their love conquers all. It's definitely an emotional story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. SJ Molloy did an amazing job bringing certain details into the light. Luminoso left me utterly speechless. By far my favorite book series ever. Can not wait for the conclusion.

It was almost hard labor to read this book. After 4 books, I really can't stand Lexi. I sympathize with all she has been through but I really can't find much to like about her other than her caring for the elderly neighbor. Lucca on the other hand is handsome, charming and really deserves a medal for putting up with Lexi. It's just amazing that he hasn't walked away. It's se*, then psychological trauma.. repeat, repeat repeat. Tiresome.

This book is only for those over the age of 18 due to it’s graphic nature, adult content and triggering themes.

This is the continuation of Lexi and Lucca’s story, and that her past tormentor has been released from jail in Australia and is determined to make Lexi pay for what she did in their shared past and he is finding the most innovative and underhanded ways in which to do this. He is praying on her family and friends, as well as finding out all he can about Lucca at the same time, he has done his research and done it well, however, when Lucca finds out about it, his only concern is Lexi and her safety, however, while they are on a trip to see her family, it all comes out and Lexi is told that he has been seen nearby, it is almost more than she can bear as it all comes rushing back to her.

On their fated trip, Lexi is feeling extremely unwell, but just blames it all on a stomach bug, but when she finally gets to her grandparents house and she settles into the visit, Lucca is still looking after her while getting to know the rest of her family, but when she is still ill a few days later, her mum suspects it isn’t a bug and insists that Lexi takes a pregnancy test, in the end she takes triple that and when the realisation hits that she is indeed pregnant with Lucca’s child, this puts even more pressure on the couple than before. One evening as they are spending time together, it is reported that Micheal has been seen near the house they are staying in and that despite all the security which is in place, they are not safe there, so Lucca makes the drastic decision to take himself, Lexi and her mum Grace back to Tuscany immediately, so the hurriedly pack a bag, say their goodbyes and hurtle to the private airstrip as fast as humanly possible. While on the plane, Grace takes her medication, Lucca drowns his worries and anxieties in whiskey while Lexi panics that it is going to be Tuscany all over again, so as she tries to talk to him and get him to open up, the only way he can is by her giving him over the control so that he can work out his frustration without resorting to drink. Lucca hates himself afterwards, however, he does finally open up and talk to Lexi about the situation.

When they get to the farmhouse, all they want to do is sleep, however, Lexi’s nightmares continue and her mother starts having episodes of her own brought on by the traumatic events of the night before, but Lucca is there to pick up the pieces as best he can and support both of the ladies in his life, while also running his business at the same time. As the stresses all pile up and the media get a whiff of the story, scandals are broken and the family's haunted past is dredged up and brought back into the spotlight, this is too much for Lexi to cope with and she struggles with the stress and anxiety, but when Lucca starts to become distant and closed off, Lexi is even more worried about him. Neither of them want to hurt the other and by continuing the cycle of non-communication this is only doing them more harm, but when a new threat is unleashed and trusts are betrayed, Lexi and Lucca begin to wonder who is really on their side and it brings out the determined and strong willed woman in Lexi while pushing Lucca to breaking point while trying to protect her and their unborn baby.

Will they have any peace while Lexi copes with a difficult pregnancy, while having the eyes on the world focussed on her and Lucca, or will Lucca’s need to protect his family break the fragile bonds holding them together? Will they be able to fight the incoming storm together, or will it break them apart on the rocks of their pasts? This is another compelling installment in a darkly romantic series where love, lust, light and strength will all be tested as past and present combine to create a turn of events which will change perceptions and realities completely.

Wow...simply WOW!!!!!

Once again SJ Molloy has taken us on such an intense journey that you feel like you feet haven't had a chance to hit the floor!

With the previous books I have been able to give snippets of what happened but for this one.....to say more would simply be too much! If you have got this far....this one is a must and one that leaves you emotionally wrung out but hoping that Lucca's brightness fights to shine!

Lexi and Lucca's journey is once again ramped up and SJ leaves us all wondering what will happen next.....the light in this book is foreshadowed by events of the past. The darkness is back and taking hold. This one is a plethora of emotions and I can't think of one I didn't feel while turning the pages of this addictive book. I wanted more. I needed to find out what happened next. I wasn't left wanting....that was until I realised I got to the end and there's another one to conclude this intense and dramatic love story!

Lexi and Lucca are experiencing a world of lows and highs and events interweave themselves so that nothing is left in the shadows. Pain is front and centre here while Lucca desperately tries to protect his love and her family while also harbouring secrets of his own. Under the pressure, bonds break and uncertainly of how this will end leaves you begging for SJ to release book five!

I can't wait to see how this ends and where SJ Molloy takes us in the conclusion of this journey of light and dark!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reading Copy of this book.

The next chapter of Lucca and Lexi can they survive or will the past catch up with them and ruin their relationship.

Lexi is going through a lot, finding out she is pregnant and trying to hide it for the time being from friends and family but with horrendous morning sickness can she keep up the charade. Lucca as always is the protecting Lexi but can he be there all the time and keep her safe.

This is the fourth book in this series and to be honest if you are coming to this series fresh I would start from the beginning, although you do get more of the backstory within the book you really need to understand this couples journey from the beginning. With that said this story was epic, you understand a lot more of Lexi's story and the ordeal that this woman went through in her childhood. I also loved the passion that jumps off the page with Lucca and that Lexi is his world and the utter determination that drives him to protect her.

This is a well written fast paced story with wonderful developed characters and a utter joy to read, although there is some dark history coming forward the light definitely out shines the dark. I can't wait to read more stories by this wonderful author.

Definitely for readers 18+

Lexi and Lucca are back in book 4 of The Luminara Series. Lexi’s half-brother from Australia is back and searching for Lexi and Grace, her mother. He has set his eyes on Alexa Evangeline Robertson because she took something from him, and he wants her to pay.

Back in Tuscany after Michael finds them in the Scottish Highlands, Lexi and Lucca have returned to the farmhouse and have brought Grace. Grace endured years of torment at the hands of her abuser, Simon Parks. Lexi and Grace struggle with their darkness while the tormentor hides somewhere in the UK.

Lucca and Lexi’s life is changing with some amazing news. At this time when her life is in upheaval, Lexi finds being in Tuscany away from her friends is challenging. She has needed them since college to help her keep her light. Lucca desperately tries to keep away the darkness from drowning Lexi. Lexi’s warrior spirit and caring personality help her help Grace through some of the upheavals that come along the way.

Will Michael Parks find Lexi and get his revenge or will the light she is clinging to prevail?

This is book 4 in the Luminara series and wow what a book. It carries on the story of Lexi and Lucca beautifully. Their story is definately a difficult one to read but at the same time it's awe inspiring how they have overcome so much to be where they are. The author does an amazing job with such delicate subjects. Always approaching them and writing them with respect and a lot of compassion. You really feel every emotion of the characters which gives you a great connection with this series.

Lucca and Lexi have escaped to Tuscany after the horror that happened at their home. With Michael Parks on the loose and tormenting Lexi, Lucca wants her as far away from there as possible. Lucca is a protector and will stop at nothing to protect Lexi.

Meanwhile Lexi and her mum are still struggling with emotions and feelings from their past and with Michael Parks free this only intensify their fears.

Will Michael find them? Will Lucca be able to protect all that he loves? Will Lexi be defeated by all her demons or will she now feel its time to fight back? And if she does fight back what will the consequences be?

I enjoyed this book. This is the fourth book in this series and I highly suggest reading the previous three books to help your enrichment of the series and the characters. I enjoyed this book just as much if not more than the previous books. I was pulled into the story by the characters. They bring the story to life on each page. Luca and Lexi are back in another fast paced page turner. Lexi’s past has come to her present life and it came crashing. The past is looking for revenge and justice. Will Luca be able to protect them? What will happen when she comes face to face with her past? These characters are strong and just make the story for me. I loved them in the first books and I loved them in this one. Twists and turns and action, what more could you ask for. I highly recommend this book. Find out what happens to Luca and Lexi this time.

It just keeps getting better and better. After reading Luca’s Lust, I anticipated that the ending chain of events would transition to the beginning of Luminoso but alas SJ had other plans. I delighted in the fact that predictability is not an ingredient in this novel. SJ captivates the readers’ attention and leads them towards an emotionally charged rollercoaster of a literary adventure. I was a bit bummed out about the conclusion of Michael’s character (blame it on me feeling vindictive). SJ created a work of art by incorporating a powerful description of the characters and plot of the story, a good balance of tension and release (at one point I almost threw my Kindle in the wall-almost) and a satisfying conclusion (all is right in the land of Lex & Luca). Overall, I would recommend this book- and I’m hoping that there is something in the works for Cameron- I’d love to see his story be told.

My Review of Luminoso (Luminara #4)
by S.J. Molloy
My Rating 4 Stars
The Fourth book in this series and by no means a standalone.

Wow! This last book in the series gave it all more suspense, drama, and let’s not forget some mighty sex scenes! Lucca’s character is so strong and full of love within these pages and he’s determined to keep Lexi safe from Michael. The lengths in which these two will go to find their light.
This was a more intense side of the story a few parts were a bit long winded, but still told a great story.

Luminoso: The Luminara Series, Book 4 by SJ Molloy. I simply cannot get enough of Lexi and Lucca. These two pull me in and I love getting lost in their story. Book four was just as amazing as the rest of the series. Yes this book may have triggers for some but I think the author handles them well. The situations in this book and series can be extremely difficult to see but I love how the author created our main character Lexi. She’s just so strong even even she feels at her weakest. And Lucca had me swooning just as much in this part of their journey. I love spending time with these two and all their amazing family and friends. So excited for more! Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Luminoso by S.J. Molloy is the fourth book in the Luminara series. This is a series that does need to be read in order as it follows the same characters and is a continuation of their story. For me this series just keeps getting better. Which each new book I am pulled further and further into these characters and their story. This really is a book - and series - that has it all.
This book is such a rollercoaster of emotions. It really is a testament to the author that you feel absolutely everything as you read this book. I am fully invested in this story and cannot wait to see where it will go in the future!

Luminoso us the fourth book in The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy will have your emotions all over the place. The dark of the past rears its ugly head again just when things seemed to have settled. There is heartache and a deranged psychopath hellbent on revenge. This is the last book in the series and whilst it grabs at you and you want to keep the lights on there is also some aspects of the story that were a little too wordy for me.

Grab your tissues!!! S.J. Molloy is at it again.
I've fallen in love with these characters and it feels like I've been with them on their journey through all their ups and all their downs.
This is yet again a nail biting, suspenseful installment of the love storie between Lucca (the wear's his heart on his sleeve, dominant) and Lexi (the broken but Survivor). If you're looking for a page turner this is it!!!

I’m continuing to get pulled into this great thrilling series. There was so much going on my head was spinning. I will warn this book is not to be read as a stand alone.

There is danger lurking around the corner for Lexi and Lucca is determined to keep her safe. They travel to Tuscany to get away. We continue to get a glimpse at memories that Lexi has which helps explain the darkness and her fears. Will Lucca be able to keep Lexi and her mother safe?

The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. I continue to love the characters and Lucca is such a great loving man that I can’t help but grow more and more in love with him myself. His past does come back to haunt him in this book as well. My emotions were all over the place. Watching these two grow as a couple just makes your heart swell. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
