Rate this book
Wayward Pines Book 2, simply named Wayward is second sequel in Wayward Pines Trilogy, written by American author Blake Crouch.
Wayward Pines is series of books written about a small town called Wayward Pines and mysteries that surround it, as well as its characters. Main protagonist of Wayward is the same it was in the first book- Ethan Burke, a US Secret Service agent, which was sent to Wayward Pines in the first place in order to find two missing agents. It was believed, however these two missing agents were lost somewhere in Wayward Pines and that Ethan was the one who needs to find them if possible.
Ethan’s trek to Wayward Pines was not nearly how he expected for it to be; immediately after the arrival, Ethan had a car accident and before he knew it, found himself in the eerie town and thus his journey and his adventures began.
Second book talks a lot more about the mysterious background of the town, its residents and the ‘reason’ of Ethan’s arrival there.
Readers that were satisfied with the first book will find themselves on the familiar ground and will surely enjoy reading Wayward. Tension, mystery, which is even deeper that it was in the first sequel, more thorough character descriptions and new adventures that awaits on Ethan and other residents of Wayward Pines is just a piece of what is waiting for you in this second book of famous trilogy.
