I'm a huge fan of S Reynolds is it goes without saying that I love everything and anything she writes. Ryker is the third installment of SOC series. Kalil and Jade had their adventure and now it's Ryker's turn.
Ryker receives a message from an old friend and sets out to find him in the woods that border Mexico. Not knowing his way around, a tour guide is with him and Daegon. After shots are fired the three men are separated and Ryker was hit.
Sabra is not exactly alone, she has two tiger clubs with her as she tries to find out what bad deals are going on out there. Finding a wounded Ryker isn't what she expected.
With each book a writer is to grow and became stronger in their craft, S Reynolds does exactly that with this book. From the first word on the first page you will be sucked in. Waiting for the fourth installment on pins and needles!

I am laughing just pages into this book at these SOC boys arguing like they are getting ready to have a cat fight. Ryker gets a call from an old military buddy that was under him in his group. He's stuck in some trouble in Southern Arizona and can't get out. Ryker and Daegon go to investigate. Their guide is gone, Daegon is gone, and Ryker has been shot. Sabra finds him and loots his weapons, well, at least some of them. Find out what happens when Ryker finally wakes up. See what happens when he decides to go exploring in the cave further and one of the tigers comes back with a present for him. Enjoy the antics of the boys joining Ryker, exploring the cave with him and Sabra taking off with the cats at the same time. Do they ever find Daegon? Do they ever find the 'friend' that called for help? Hell, do they find Sabra and the cats before it is too late? What happens when one of them goes into a bar and hears two guys talking about hunting a woman with her cats and how people would pay big bucks for that. Sex, intrigue, romance, silly childish notions of going off on your own, danger, suspense, lost friends.....all this and more can be found for the right price that you pay to buy this book. It is a great read and I cannot wait for the next installment of this series! I never would have guessed who had been behind the hunts. It sure made things a bit more interesting to find that out. Watch as Kalil gets married and see the sneak preview of Jaxon's letter and what it's asking of him.

I absolutely loved all the amazing names in this book, Sabra, Daegon, Ryker, Jaxon, Kalil to name, but a few, and even the dog has an awesome name Blushes.
Sabra Browning is living in a cave in Arizona, she is there trying to find proof of who is hunting and killing the wild animals for sport. She is not alone, she has two young jungle cats with her that she found abandoned, more than likely their mother had been murdered by the criminals who were poaching. Sabra had brought them up for the past months and they seemed to know what she wanted and they protected her well. They alerted her to danger and stayed with her in the cave, only leaving her to go hunting for food.

Ryker is ex-military when he received a message from an old military buddy Ryker of course, jumped into action and set off to find out what has happened to his buddy. Daegon another one of his crew and his buddy decided to go with him and before long they find themselves embroiled in more than just a trip to find a missing buddy.

Before long Ryker and Daegon along with their guide run into the hunters and end up separated, Ryker ends up shot and bleeding and alone, until Sabra and her cats find him bleeding to death, she takes him back to her cave to help him. The story heats up more as the sparks between the pair start to ignite.

Now I cannot say anything else other than to say this is a terrific book, I could not put it down, and to be honest, I was gutted when I got to the end. All I can do now is put this Author and this series on my WATCH FOR MORE list.

Wow, I think this one may be my favorite book in the Special Operations Command series. Ryker is book three in the Special Operations Command series, but it can be read as a standalone. This one is Ryker's story but we do get more of all the guys.

Ryker is an awesome guy. He gets an odd text message from an old army buddy, Jeremy. When he can't get back in touch with him, he decides to drive down to where his phone was last used to check out if he's ok. Ryker dropping everything to check on a friend shows how great of a person he is and definitely is a reason to swoon over him. That alone makes he worthy of my book boyfriend list.

He and Daegon end up in the Cadeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge near Arizona. There are strange happenings in the Wildilfe Refuge. Animals are being hunted but that might not be all that is being hunted.

Sabra is essentially living on the Refuge. She's there to find the men who are killing the animals. It's not an easy task. She has made some friends with the animals. I kinda thought the Sabra was weird and way out there with her thinking but she's a super cool character.

Sabra and Ryker's path cross. There is a good connection between the two. Ryker tries to stay focused on the finding his friend but even he can't fight the pull of Sabra.

This book is full of suspense but also has some great steamy scenes. I would definitely recommend you check this one out.

My Thoughts:~
Ryker is your typical hot alpha male, we have met Kalil and Jade .. but for the love of hot men everywhere Rkyer is in a league of his own! Smoking HAWT!!

Once again we are back in the chaos, bullets are flying and people are dropping like flies.. but for a totally different reason. Ryker's story is a whole different ball game, but the stakes are set just as high! With his eyes on the prize the team pull together to uncover the truth behind the mysterious txt that was sent.. and find themselves in the middle of a plot much bigger than they originally thought. With the help of Sabra and her "Two friends" the team work together to put an end to the killings.

Rkyer had captivated me from page one. The #SOC men are thoroughly entertaining!

This is the third installment in the Special Operation Command series by S. Reynolds, and it's the story of Ryker and Sabra. It can be read as a standalone, however by reading the previous books, you get more insight on all of the male characters.

Sabra is down in Arizona trying to find out what's happening to the wild animals there since her company has received reports of so many turning up dead. Ryker shows up looking for an old military buddy who called asking for his help. This is when they cross paths and sparks start to fly...not to mention bullets. It doesn't take long to determine that maybe there's more than animals being hunted. Will Ryker find his friend before it's too late? Will Sabra be able to find out who's behind these killings before she becomes the next target?

I enjoy books that have exciting action scenes as well as the the hot and steamy ones. S. Reynolds gives me all of that with this story along with a few laughs. I give 3.5 stars to Ryker and can't wait to see how their story continues.

*I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Let me say first, that I enjoyed this book, but maybe not as much as I wanted to.
Ryker is out trying to find his friend - an ex-military friend, Jeremy. Using his "resources" he discovers his friend's last know location through a text. He knows his friend is in trouble, and just like when they served together, he doesn't want him stuck alone.
Sabra was sent to find out if the animals being attacked in the Wildlife Refuge are being attacked by other animals, or being hunted for game. Armed with her trusty cats (um...yeah, two cats of the large variety, Mica and Echo), she's determined to find out who is hunting the animals.
When Ryker and Sabra find that they may be looking for the same people, they join forces for better results.
Absolutely has the steam factor and was very entertaining in most parts. However, some of the dialogue felt forced, as did the romantic relationship (there wasn't a whole lot of build-up, but it is what it is).

I have to say that S. Reynolds is really growing as an author and her books just keep getting better and more interesting. I really enjoyed reading Ryker. This is his and Sabra’s story. Ryker is the third book in the Special Operations Command Series. I feel like you as the reader can look at the synopsis and decide if the book looks like something you would like to read.

Oh and I loved Sabra’s kitty cats (Mica & Echo)….. just saying.

I wouldn’t exactly say that Ryker had a cliffhanger but, I think I was left wanting a more definitive ending. And, let me say Ryker had better not eff it up! I swear not my words but S. Reynolds! I am looking forward to reading more on these Special Operations Command Alphas! I received a copy of Ryker as a complimentary gift for an honest review. I give Ryker 4.5 stars.

3.5 for me :)

Wow, there are a lot, I mean A LOT, of people in this book. I had a hard time keeping all of the names straight, but I think if I had started from the beginning of the series it would have been easier for me, so I suggest you do that too.

I enjoyed the story, it hit lots of important points for me:
Engaging characters
Excitement
Sizzle ;)
Strong story line

The H/h were great, I really enjoyed their banter and sexual tension while they investigated such a heinous crime; it helped take the edge off, helping the story flow.

Other than being confused at times about who was speaking and keeping track of the peripheral characters, I enjoyed reading Ryker, though the ending is a bit abrupt.

Ryker gets a message from an old buddy saying he needs help, so Ryker goes and tries to find his friend. What he ends up finding will end up changing his life. He ends up running into Sabra who is investigating killings of animals. From the very beginning I was laughing at the guys. Then when these to meet, I was like OMG their gonna be perfect together. Somethings Ryker would think or say made me want to NOT like him but what can I say... I fell for him ; ) GO FIGURE. This book is funny, has action and great chemistry between the H/h. I love the alphas. <3 I was giving this book for an honest review....so GO GET THIS BOOK. BIG TIME S. REYNOLDS FAN HERE!!

S. Reynolds has done it again with another well written book. The characters she brings to life in her books make you feel like you are right there with them. Ryker the man of the book seemed to be a bad boy and not want anyone to get in his way, but things changed. To find out more you need to pick up a copy and see what takes place.

will it be marriage, kids, crime, killings and etc.

I highly recommend you pick up all of her books i am sure you will not regret them.

Really liked the plot of this book. It's the first book I've read in this series but found it easy to follow. I'm going to go back and read the series in order as I enjoyed the storyline and the characters and want to know them better.

I was so happy when I was sent this book. It had sexiness, suspense, a female too stubborn to listen and a male too stubborn to realize that fact until it was always too late and trouble found her.
