Another solid book in the LOST series !!

Totally gripping and very well done. Torn is not only a hot and steamy romance but also a twisted, psychological thriller that will mess with your heart as well as your head. As the story progressed I was fighting myself not to flip to the back of the book to know who was the vicious perpetror ! Trust me, it took all my strenght to held myself back and to let the plot play out, adding great tension that kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through and making me turn those pages faster than a speeding bullet.

Torn is the story of Forensic anthropologist Victoria Palmer and former Detective Wade Monroe, both working for LOST (Last Option Search Team). When cases went cold, when the cops gave up, families turned to LOST for help.

Five years ago a 22-years-old college student Kennedy Lane went for an early morning jog and she never returned home. LOST agents Victoria and Wade are teamed up together on this case and head off to Savannah, Georgia. Very quickly, their investigation leads them to Worthington university. There is no way to go into detail regarding the storyline without spoiling it completely so I am not even going to try. Let me just tell you that like the previous books in the series, this is a complex and multi-layered suspenseful story with plenty of potential suspects. Masterfully crafted ! Cynthia Eden has the uncanny ability to left the reader guessing and on pins and needles until the very end.

Victoria is a genius and the best in her field. She’s beautiful, strong and stubbornly independent. She’s also a mystery. Victoria never allows anyone close enough to know her darkest secrets, to see the woman behind the impenetrable mask—but one man threatens her carefully leashed control. Her partner Wade is a threat to her, she just knows it. Their last two big cases had taken deadly turns and since then Wade’d started to see her in a whole new light. Wade—handsome, sexy Wade— decides it was time that he stopped playing it cool with Victoria. Stopped giving her time and started acting. As Victoria and Wade work together, their explosive attraction becomes irresistible. What starts as just a partners with benefits relationship, slowly grows into an emotional connection neither of them can deny.

When the killer still on the loose targets Victoria, Wade must do everything in his power to protect her before he can earn her trust and her love. And he vows they’ll never be torn apart.

Victoria and Wade were great together. The chemistry between these two sizzles and burns in the most delicious ways. I love how the story progressed and developed. Cynthia Eden does suspense and freaky serial killers like no other. I definitely didn't see the plot twist coming.

If you are a fan of this author, you will likely not be disappointed with this book. I recommend it to anyone who loves a good steamy romantic suspense !

The second I got this on my Kindle I had to start reading. The LOST series quickly became one of my favorites from Cynthia Eden and Torn is just another reason why. This book was captivatingly suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time reading.

When Dr. Victoria Palmer was abducted during an investigation, to her, it was just another bad thing to happen in her life. Her childhood hadn't been a happy one, and now that she's older she still never expects things to go good for her. But for her partner, Wade Monroe, her abduction wasn't just another bad thing, it was the thing that made him realize he wouldn't be able to stand losing her. Now, he's started to take notice of just how deep his feelings go for the sexy Doctor.

I think one of the appeals of this series, for me, is the characters. They're all very real to me, each character has their own issues they need to deal with, and the feelings and emotions that go along with that are just really believable. Sometimes a characters past can be made out to be too over dramatic and it ruins them for me, but with Victoria and Wade their pasts are what made the story what it was. It wasn't shoved in my face while reading, it was subtle and gave just enough hints to keep me intrigued.

I loved Victoria and Wade together way more than I even thought I would, and that was a lot. When Wade finally realized he couldn't lose Victoria he became determined to not let her run from him, and seeing him get her to open up was amazing. She had a big secret that was holding her back, but when she finally opened up to Wade her whole personality started to change around him. And of course I can't forget to mention that they were sexy as hell together!

We did get to see the other LOST member briefly, and met two more for the first time, and I liked the glimpses of them we got. I actually really liked that the past members weren't mentioned too much because I didn't want them to take away from Victoria and Wade. It was good that so much of the story only focused on the main characters, since they certainly had a lot going on.

Bottom line, Torn was absolutely amazing and I can't wait for everyone to read it. It's suspenseful, and intriguing, and will keep you guessing the whole time. Not many books can surprise me, but this series just keeps shocking the hell out of me.

Victoria Palmer, the LOST team’s forensic anthropologist is still on edge after being assaulted and left for dead by the killer they took down in New Orleans (those events took place in book two, Twisted), but there’s more to why Victoria won’t let anyone close. She has a dark past, everyone knows her father was accused of murdering her mother, but there’s more to that story Victoria doesn’t plan on sharing with anyone even if it does haunt her to this day.

After almost losing Victoria to a madman, Wade doesn’t want to let her out of his sight, and he’s through staying away. Being assigned out in the field together on their latest missing person case comes in very handy, but also dangerous because the killer they’re trying to nail down sets his sights on Victoria. Victoria may feel skittish, but the attraction between them makes it impossible for her to push Wade away. She can’t resist his pull and Wade plans on taking full advantage. No way is his missing his chance with her now or letting anyone hurt her.

Torn is part of a series, but I don’t think it’s completely necessary to read the prior books to enjoy it. I’ve read all but the first book, Broken, (I’ll be getting to that very soon) in the LOST series and loved every one. Fast-paced, full of danger and intensity! I was scared for these characters a time or two! Cynthia Eden definitely knows how to keep her readers glued to the pages both with the thrill of the mystery, and the passion of this romance! I love her addictive writing! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next story, Taken, but until then I’ll go back and read Broken.

9/01/2021 - An enjoyable re-read, views below stand.

20th July 2019:
I’m a big Cynthia Eden fan, and what I like is that her books a more than a little re-readable, at least for me. The chemistry between her main characters is always on spot and in this book the heat and attraction between LOST agents Wade Monroe and Victoria Palmer was fiery as was Wade’s interest in Victoria. They go to Savannah, Georgia, on the haunt to locate a woman who has been missing and presumed dead for 5 years, what they find during the course of the investigations makes them realise more women are in danger/trouble and soon Victoria and Wade find themselves in the crosshairs of a killer.

Victoria has a dark secret no one but a twisted killer seems to know, and it’s a secret that makes her resist having any intimate relationships, she sticks to emotionless sex when the need arises, but Wade is done staying in the background and once he realises what she does when she needs sex, well his damned if he will have her searching for a stranger when he is right there. Wade’s determination to not let Victoria push him away I really liked.

I would say that if you hate similarities when it comes to main characters in books in a series, you will need to take a break with some of the books in the Lost series, but do read them.

He’d promised her no ties. No strings.
He’d lied.
He wanted her bound just as tightly as he was. One way or another, that would be happening.

Another fantastic book to an amazing series. No one writes romantic suspense better than Cynthia Eden.

Victoria Palmer understand the dead better than anyone. It’s the living that she has a hard time handling. She keeps all her emotions, her secrets hidden deep inside, not letting anyone close to her. But she finds it so difficult to keep her co-worker Wade Monroe out. He’s handsome and dangerous, especially to her heart.

After almost losing Victoria at the hands of a madman, Wade has decided to make his move. He will play as dirty as he has to, to fight for her and to make her see how good they could be together.

They have been hired to find a college student who has been missing for five years. Because that is was LOST does best, they solve cold cases, finds the those who has been lost for years.

But then Victoria becomes the target of the murdered, and Victoria and Wade will have to work together to stop a monster. And Wade will do whatever is necessary to protect the woman he loves.

”You make me happy. You make every damn thing in my life seem worthwhile. If I have you . . .” It was simple for him. “. . . I have everything.”

I loved this book. Victoria is so broken, she believes herself to be a monster, and she doesn’t trust herself to love anyone without hurting them. Wade is the perfect hero, and I loved how he tried to protect Victoria, and how hard he fought for her.

The romance was scorching, just like I’ve come to expect from this author.

No one writes monsters/villains better than Cynthia Eden. Her books are probably better classified as romantic thrillers, and I LOVE it. The suspense is awesome, and I always love the mystery of her villains, trying to find out who the killers are. And this book was no exception.

This book was so intense, and the romance so wonderful. It’s so hard to find authors who get the balance between romance and suspense right, and Cynthia Eden is one of the rare ones who is a master at it.

This series is amazing, and once again Cynthia Eden has shown why she’s one of my favorite authors. A must read for all RS fans.

A young woman goes missing and no one believes she's been abducted. Five years later, LOST has been hired to find her and give closure. Then her body turns up and a simple missing person case has now turned into a hunt for a killer. Victoria is the woman who finds answers from the dead. Wade is the man who looks for answers from the living. Working together, can they finally close the case?

Here's the thing...

I enjoyed the plot of the story. I really had no idea what was really going on and I loved that. I had some hunches of who was involved, but the how remained out of reach until the end, so the author did an amazing job with that.

However...

I didn't like the characters. Victoria was hard to take. She's a grown woman and yet her mind was so simple. She knew she had issues, but did nothing to help herself. But she did find it within herself to question and judge those around her. And Wade had way too much testosterone rushing through his veins. The alpha role was completely overdone. It blinded him to just about everything and Victoria playing the damsel who could take care of herself (she really couldn't) wasn't helping.

But that's just me.

If you like a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat, you'll enjoy this book.

Torn is the fourth installment into Eden’s dark and gritty romantic suspense series-LOST. Even though I have not read the first three in the series, I had no problems diving right into the story and was completely pulled in by the heavy atmospheric mystery and romance that Eden develops. The story is easy to follow as Eden flashes back to earlier events in order for us to understand the dynamics of the group and chemistry playing out between our protagonists, Victoria and Wade. It does start out little slow are we follow Victoria and Wade to Georgia and watch them get up to date with the case. Eden maps out the investigation and the police interaction for us in a clear and easy to follow manner. Smooth presentation and intriguing dialogue immediately snags reader right out of the gate as she shows us the mindset of our protagonists and our villain with cryptic internal thoughts and intense emotions. As the plot picks up speed, the mystery and suspense follow suit, leaving us ripe with tension till the very last page.

LOST-The Last Option Search Team-is indeed the last option for most people whose loved ones or friends have disappeared and their cases have gone cold. LOST’s newest case will pit two seasoned investigators against a serial killer who knows their most intimate secrets. Kennedy Lane disappeared without a trace five years ago while out running. One minute she was there, the next she was gone. Her ex-fiance has hired LOST to try to find out what happened to her to give himself closure. Gage, the founder of LOST, decides to send Wade Monroe and Victoria Palmer to Savannah, Georgia to see if fresh eyes can discover what happened to this young woman. Victoria is uncomfortable not only being sent out on a new case but also being paired with Wade. She was almost killed on her last case and she has developed an attraction to Wade that threatens her very sanity.

“Wade Monroe was trouble-trouble she couldn’t quite handle right now. Handsome, dangerous, and more than ready to play dirty on any case…”

Wade Monroe is an ex-homicide detective that helped start LOST with his best friend, Gage. Gage’s sister Amy was abducted and murdered while on Wade’s watch. Wade has never forgiven himself for this and treats each missing case as a way to atone and bring Amy home. Victoria has always intrigued Wade. Her intelligence, subdued beauty, and don’t touch persona begs him to slowly strip away all her defenses until there is nothing left but the sensual woman he knows is buried underneath. When Victoria was kidnapped and tortured on their last case, Wade decided that he was done waiting for her to see him and is now determined to push her until acknowledges the attraction that burns between them and reveals the secrets that stand between them.

“She had to enjoy it. She had to enjoy me…Because they weren’t going to be together just one time. Oh, no, he had plans for her…”

Our hero and heroine are an interesting mixture of contrasts; adding depth and background to the main storyline. The romance holds an integral place in the story and Eden uses their scenes together to flesh out Victoria and Wade. The almost suffocating sexual tension between them is addressed right off the bat with some intense love scenes. It’s the emotions they’ve kept buried that are slowly unleashed and brought to the surface for display that keeps your interest. Victoria is an intelligent woman with a horrific past. She has secrets that she feels will destroy her and anyone around her if they become known. She keeps her emotional walls high in order to avoid any real connections. Wade too has secrets but he has accepted the darker aspects of his personality and now channels it into his work.

“You don’t know what hell is. I’ve been there more times than I can count.”

A diverse cast of secondary characters keeps the suspense and mystery flowing smoothly. Each one adds personality, drama, and insight into the story. Through them we finally get the full truth behind what exactly happened to Victoria, Wade, and the women being kidnapped. The villain of the story is a twisted piece of work whose dark desires has them setting up the ultimate and elaborate scheme to make sure he gets who he really wants-Victoria.

The ending comes at you fast and furious as Victoria and Wade connect all the dots and solve their case. Loose ends are wrapped up, questions answered, and the past is finally put to rest. Two new and very interesting additions are introduced towards the end to assure us Eden will definitely be visiting this world.

The fourth book in the LOST series by Cynthia Eden. A college student went missing five years before and LOST is hired to find her. LOST agent Wade Monroe and Forensic anthropologist Victoria Palmer are sent to Savannah, Georgia on the case. But now another woman is missing.

One of those authors that write in a style that works for me most of the time. Didn't bond with Victoria much through the story though. I felt she was too controlled by her past and that made her unlikable at times. But I still liked and enjoyed the book.

This is a well written, fast paced, story filled with suspense and romance. Victoria Palmer and Wade Monroe work for LOST which stands for The Last Option Search Team. LOST searches for missing people when everyone else has given up trying to find them. The story begins when Victoria and Wade are assigned to work on a case of a missing woman. As they work on the case they discover they are dealing with a serial killer who is twisted and sadistic and gets his kicks hurting women. Wade and Victoria race against time trying to stop a serial killer who keeps taunting them. I loved this intense story, it had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book.

I liked Victoria but I also felt sorry for her. She is very smart, yet she has little confidence in herself. She has a lot of dark secrets she keeps hidden and because of that she is afraid to get close to anyone. Wade continually tries to break down Victoria’s walls, but she keeps pulling away because she is afraid if Wade sees who she really is, he won't like her.

Wade is a hardened ex-cop and an ex-homicide detective and even though he has a tough guy exterior, he is always warm and caring with Victoria. He takes his time to get to know Victoria and let's her know that she is important and he tries to help her through her darkness. Wade is a good guy but he also has some issues he is dealing with from his past. Wade and Victoria have sizzling chemistry and I wanted them to work through everything and be together. Cynthia Eden writes an exhilarating and emotional story and I was never sure who the killer was until the very the end.

Torn is the fourth book in the LOST series and tells the story of Victoria and Wade, of the team members!

Victoria and Wade are partners but in the last book, Shattered, we saw them come closer. In Torn the chemistry between them explodes! Victoria may be an intelligent, brilliant woman but she is a woman with secrets and she cannot allow anyone to know them. To keep her secrets hidden, Victoria keeps everyone at distance, even her friends at LOST but Wade has had enough. After almost losing her in Shattered, he refuses to let her push him away. When a new case takes them to Savannah and Victoria’s past is questioned, she knows she will have to trust Wade even if it means revealing her secrets.

Torn was amazing and super-HOT! Victoria and Wade’s relationship built up really quickly but it was only expected considering their feelings developed in the previous book! Moreover, I think I’m not wrong when I say that this is NOT the end of the series. Eden adds two new members in the LOST team, Asher and his twin sister, Anna. The twins have their own secrets and I can’t wait to read their stories!

I really liked this book but I’d have loved to catch up with some of the previous couples as well, especially Gabe and Eve. Maybe we will get a chance in the next book!

With this one, like the last one, I enjoyed the characters and the development of their relationship, but I felt the story - the murder mystery - wasn't really up to par. It felt like a cheat, and the more I think about it, the less sense it makes... almost like Eden grabbed something out of left field so that it couldn't be guessed, for the big finale. Frankly, I prefer well-constructed murder mystery. That makes me particularly disappointed, because the earlier books in this series were great, detailed, well-constructed mysteries. There was way more tension, with the villain hidden in plain sight, calmly interacting with the characters.

Oh well.

Wade and Victoria work together at LOST (Last Option Search Team) and we’ve watched them sort of dance around each other in the past few books. In this book we see just how hot these two can burn.

A book or two ago, Victoria was kidnapped and held by a sadistic killer. She still hasn’t fully recovered, not emotionally anyway. But she’s determined to just ignore it and carry on because her life hasn’t really been roses, and that’s just how she deals.

Wade, for his part, has his own secret, and while he’s spent years pining after Victoria, he was willing to wait. Until she was abducted. That was the kick in the pants he needed to pursue Victoria. He wants her to confide in him, and he wants her in his life as more than just his partner. That starts with him following her to a bar where she meets up with a guy, seemingly for a one night stand, but Wade is furious.

Wade takes her home and lets her know if it’s just sex that she wants, she should use him, not some stranger from a bar. Victoria is floored. But also intrigued…

Their latest mission leads them on the hunt for a missing girl who’s been gone for 5 years. But they find a new girl is missing, and Victoria may be the next target.

Wade wants her to trust him, and Victoria wants to push him away, how will they make it work?

I like how I never felt the romance was put on the back burner for the plot, and vice versa. Ms. Eden is exceptional at writing Romantic Suspense. She truly combines the suspense of a thriller with the passion of a romance. I definitely love this series, and I’ll say it again- Avon looks good on Cynthia Eden.

As always very well written.
This one was my less favorite in this series, unfortunately.

Suspense was good, but there were so many small and bigger inaccuracies... Both MCs behaved as amateurs sometimes. e.g. lost phone, and why the police didn't protect the victims?

As to the romance - I wasn't fond of it either. MCs knew each other for ages and then suddenly he was attracted to her?

Well, the book was better than average in this genre, so I stop to complain.

Up to the next one!

I loved how this author was able to keep me guessing and wavering between who I thought the killer was, every time I've decided on who I think it is she drops another crumb that has me second guessing.

I also really enjoyed watching Wade and Viki fall for each other in the midst of all the danger.

Even though there were things that didn't fully add up I found this to be an enjoyable and I'll definitely be reading the next book in the series.

Torn is book 4 in the LOST series by Cynthia Eden and brings us back to the Last Option Search Team and the cases that keep them busy. Victoria experienced a trauma in the form of an attack in a previous book. She is still struggling with the PTSD from that event coupled with her natural affinity to avoid the living, preferring instead to stick with the dead. As a forensic anthropologist, Victoria is called upon to examine bodies found in relation to cases. However, Gabe, her boss, is sending her and Wade to look into a case where there is NO body. Viki isn't sure what she can do to help, and is desperate to keep her secret (that she isn't doing so well since the attack and her darker childhood secret). Wade sees right through her act and is determined to get to the heart of Viki and help her heal. Then, he can make her his.

I enjoyed the dynamic between Victoria and Wade. He is determined and she is skittish. They both have secrets though. Viki thinks her secret will force Wade to turn her in. She really underestimates him! All this develops while they are looking for a missing girl, and then another girl goes missing. Then the killer targets Viki and it becomes a game of cat and mouse. While some parts of the plot I figured out rather quickly, there was still a twist that I didn't see coming. That rarely happens to me so when it does I am thrilled!

Torn is not my favorite of the LOST series but it is still everything I love about Cynthia Eden's books. The sexual chemistry, the danger, the intrigue...its all well crafted and compelling! If you are a fan of romantic suspense, Cynthia Eden needs to be on your go-to author list.

Torn is another solid entry in the LOST series. Victoria Palmer's job at LOST is as a forensic anthropologist, dealing with the dead. Victoria considers them safer than the living because the living might break the carefully constructed shield that she has built around herself. A past that includes the murder of her mother by her father makes her believe that she could be genetically disposed to be a killer herself causing her to keep everyone at arm's length. Wade, who is one of the founding members of LOST, along with his best friend Gabe, has always honored Victoria's attempts to keep him at a careful distance, but the close calls Victoria had on their last couple of cases has made him change his position. Now he has decided that it is time to break through the wall Victoria has built to keep him out and act upon the dynamic attraction that he knows they both feel for each other. When Victoria is once again put at risk by a serial killer, Wade decides they are never going to be apart again. This story follows the basic serial killer/heroine formula but includes enough additional material to make it an enjoyable read.

ARC REVIEW

Fourth book in the Last Option Search Team (LOST) series by Cynthia Eden. Much like the other in the series this book is a dark and intense romance, but for the first time the other members only make a brief cameo instead of significant role of the story. Victoria and Wade, it was only a matter of time before these two happened. From the first book you could tell Victoria had feelings for Wade but Wade was slow on the uptake it took Victoria almost dying before Wade realized how much she meant to him. Now that Wade knows he’s not going to let Victoria go and even though Victoria has strong feelings for Wade she doesn’t think she deserves him. What she has done in her past is far worse than any of the others and with Wade being an ex-cop she thinks that if he found out he would turn her in and end up breaking her heart; she would rather not risk it. It’s going to take everything Wade has to convince her otherwise.

Five years ago a college student disappeared. She was a beautiful girl with tons of potential and a fiancée. Now her fiancée is engaged to someone else and wants some closure before he can move on; he hires LOST to see what they can find. Wade and Victoria are assigned the case and head off to Georgia to see what they can find. Their sudden appearance and questions about the missing girl and the disappearance of another female college student starts a domino effect of events that throws Victoria right in the middle of a serial killers sights. With everything Victoria’s past is revealed and she finds out just how much Wade really loves her. I can’t say too much about the story line because so much of it is the mystery of the missing girls and the whodunit and the fact that it seems Victoria has picked up a stalker. I can and will say this is one of the best so far. It’s just as intense as Broken, has just as many twists as Twisted did and is as tormented as Shattered. If you love the series like I do fret not Torn is not the last! Just when the last two characters are paired up two more people join the team and possibly, eventually maybe a third too.

What always ties me up about Cynthia Eden’s books are how real the characters always are. I get so involved in these books the rest of the world fades away. Overall, this book just adds so much to the series; I love to savor these to take my time so I don’t miss anything. I really can’t wait for Taken which I think comes out in November.

One of my favorite series of hers so far has been her Lost series. I think it's because of the whole idea of the series. I like the fact that they work so hard to find those who others have given up on. Not only is this a great series, Eden has a way of writing hero's that make you want to be lost (I'm thinking you're sitting at Starbucks waiting to be found) and them to find you.

Hot, tough sexy hero's!

I love them all of course Jax from Shattered is still my favorite. Shh...don't tell Wade.

Not to worry, you'll love Wade too. He's a great guy who stands for those in need. He also doesn't realize what a great guy he is. Makes him even more warm and fuzzy. He's the type of guy that makes you jealous of the heroine.

Of course in Torn the hero is pretty special herself. She has spent so much of her life giving to others to prove she's better then her father. Right away you know she's way better.

At times you wonder if these two will be able to finally get together and have their happily-ever-after...

...only to learn that some strings are meant to be tied.

Torn is book #4 in the Lost Series and that might give you pause. I wouldn't want to read this series out of order. Even though in Torn you only have mention of most of the other agents. I find that it just makes for a better story to really understand all the Lost agents.

Eden is back with another heart pounding story that takes Lost to a new level. Since this is the 4th book in this series we have seen each character fall in love one by one while trying to discover the truth of each mission. But in this novel we seen two members of lost fall for one another while killers on the loose.

Victoria and Wade both have secrets and they don't want them to surface but while on this mission they take there trust to a whole new level. While they are in Savannah hunting down leads to killer Victoria quickly becomes the next target and Wade will do anything to keep her safe.

I truly loved this story. Eden brought a lot of mystery, sex, love, and lies that made this story one of my favorites in this series. I liked how Wade and Victoria ended up getting together and how they started to learn more about one another.

I also really enjoyed the mystery of who was behind the murders of the two women who went missing. By the end of the book I have to honestly say I was shocked speechless on who the killers were. Yup that's right.. It ended up being a team and I was pleased with how it was written. It just worked for me.

And guess what?!? More LOST will becoming in the future because by the end of this book we meet two new members that I am excited to get to know and uncover there pasts and secrets on why they joined the group.

This book is a must read just as the previous books in this series are. If you haven't read them you are missing out on the amazing world Eden has created. I would definitely advise getting Lost in this series!

LOST is a team of private investigators consisted of ex SEALS, ex cops, profilers and such, who all have a common clue, ok two. First they are all gorgeous as it seems and secondly, they all have their dirty secrets to carry heavily in their souls from the their past, that is, they all have their issues.
So here it goes. Victoria and Wade are sent to investigate the loss of a long lost girl who seems she had been abducted five years ago and disappeared ever since. As the investigation goes so the relationship of the two heroes evolves. So the novel combines tenderness and erotism with angst and suspense as the killer is fixated on Victoria right from the beginning arising Wade's need to protect his unfathomable love.

OMG this series is amazeballs!!!!!! I haven't read a series in a while that they've all been 5 stars!!!! I love Wade and couldn't wait for his story and man it did not disappoint! I loved Victoria she was strong and detrimened. I can't wait to see what happens next. It looks like Asher will get the next book, he was a new character added along with his twin Ana. I hope Dace (the defective ) get a book I really liked him! Another must read!

It’s been a long time since I’ve read the first couple books in this series. I’m reminded how good this series is. I like the mystery and how Eden takes the reader into the LOST operations. I’m looking forward to reading the next book. Also, super glad that Wade and Victoria worked their relationship out.

The MC felt less badass/professional than in the other books, but still a good suspense book! I think i missed the rest of the team too!
