Similar to its predecessors, the third volume of පැණි වළලු is a journey through various aspects of life, a majority from the author's perspective describing his own experiences. His social commentary that runs throughout all the stories within is a definite eye-opener and an absolute pressure to read, not only because of the simple narration, but also due to how relatable they can be to our own, only if we stopped for a moment to think them through. It is very unfortunate that there won't be more of these; the untimely demise of the author leaves behind a void in this genre in Sinhala literature and newspaper columns that no one else has even come close to fill, as of yet.
