This was perfect!! I took my time reading it because I wanted to think about every chapter. Maki is my favorite character and this diary made me love her even more. It's a must-read for every Love Live fan. It explains a lot about Maki's relationship with her parents and how that shaped her to who she is today. It's very sad, but I'm happy it goes its way to highlight Maki is better now. 5/5 I loved it.
Finally get into the LL hype (although six years too late) and all I want to say is, "Imi wakanai!" I got the enthusiasm and the summer-colored youth, but their energy, even Maki's, who's the most dere of all deres, tires my old soul. I don't think I'll be able to read the manga without cringing, so nope. Just this.
Still, enjoyable. Best part is when the girls go to see Maki's father after he tries to pull her out of the group and tell him, "Please let us have Maki."
