Elon Musk's prolific mind is fascinating. His revolutionary idea which spawned the electric car is stunning. This is a book not for the technophobes - not because the book has a technical bent, but because you have to be a geek of sorts to appreciate the extent of Elon's inventions. I am in awe and also in fear of this eccentric but brilliant man.

I bought this book after sitting in a Tesla. Tesla is to cars as Apple is to phones. Very brilliant man is Elon Musk but not someone I would want to work for. Extraordinary that greatest seems to come from the personal drive of these two visionaries who chewed through people. Surely there are some equivalent leaders out there that drove excellence without being abusive. My search continues.

Totally loved the way Vance illustrated Musk's experiences. From the start, it reminded me of the video I saw Elon for the first time. About SpaceX, Tesla, SolarCity, Paypal and Zip2 the author has made a good research, and succeeded at presenting Musk's biography as honest as possible. It is just good read. You will end up gaining some knowledge and demand of clean-tech jobs.

Great book. A closer look of the growth, ups and downs of this very uncomun enterpreuner and person. Some few parts of his personal life revellied on unoficial documentarys are not told in this book, thats why I didn't gave a 5 star, but even so it's a very good book.
