how to start a profitable blog in an hour
I read this book in exchange for honest review. The book does discuss how to create a blog, choose a domain name, and setting up widgets. The book even discusses finding keywords to use and creating content, but the author does not really discuss how to make money using a blog. He briefly discussed heavy links (which I thought was a no-no) and showed a screenshot of his earnings, but did not discuss how his links made money. As a blogger, I wanted more information on how to generate income from my blogs, but I did not get the information from this book. If you do want to learn how to start a blog and some of the initial steps, then this book is for you.

Lots of great info
Good info for building a blog site from the bottom up. Could use a little more info on exactly how to monetize once built. But, the step by step instructions make it easy to build a successful blog. I believe the "in one hour" refers to the amount of time spent READING the book. Building the blog will take much more time. All in all, I think the book is definitely worth purchasing.

This has been superb guide on getting started blogging!
I found this book covered all the foundational building blocks to create a successful blog.
Only thing missing was more in depth information on how to structure a blog post. Although this information can easily be found on other blog guru sites.
This has helped me start my blog zero2dad.co.uk that started June 2020 which is proof that thid advise in the book works.

Well written and concise
The author manages to pack a lot of info into a short ebook. He doesn't pad it with unnecessary fluff but gets right to the point. The book explains the most important steps in starting a blog including key words, content, and outsourcing. I feel that I have a greater understanding of successful blogging after reading this little gem.

This is a great how-to-start book, filled with good advice and more important, experience. The author took time to make a gradual introduction and steps into this topic and shared tips and tricks which can save a lot of time.

Great information! This book provides concrete steps you can take to start your blog right away. Also helpful if you have a blog that is underperforming. It has a few typos but I am overlooking those since the info is good.

Does exactly what it promises
There are a lot of technical terms used and an assumption of understanding of certain software. This book will be useful once you are serious about a blog and your niche subject.

I use this book as a resource now.
When building BlogSurvivalGear.com I really needed some guidance. This book really helped me out. It does lack a bit though on this matter... As most books lack on the topic of giving you ideas to monetize and profit from your blog. It's wonderful fearful helping you to get noticed but doesn't help much on ideas to make money. Great book anyway. 5 stars

April 13, 2016Very informative book on step by step processes needed to start a blog this includes searching the topic of your blog and seeing how frequently others search for that topic to see if you will get a lot of traffic on your blog site. This book includes domain sites and a whole bunch more, I am very impressed with this book.
