I've read a ton of astrology books. This is the best book about solely sun signs (but about men only) that I've ever read! It offers insights I've never encountered anywhere else. Men express their sun sign in a much different way from how women do, and this book nails it. Hilarious writing, too.
i know more about the signs now, which is nice, but according to this book all guys are terrible. not sure how i feel about this. do with that what you will.
As a big astrology aficionado, I commend Jenni Kosarin's efforts into completing this useful guide. The technique used was acquiring the Venus placements of guys which were analyzed together with their Sun signs. It was a successful attempt at trying to explain clusters of men based on their astrology, many examples of groupings of different men were provided and you have no choice but to tell yourself "It makes so much sense!"
I am happy I have stumbled an astrology book as comprehensive and detailed as this. Writing this must have took a lot of effort and research, I wonder if I could ever publish one similar to this? :)
This is a fantastic book. Bitingly funny but wow was it accurate. I read it on my two ex's and it was as if she knew them and was writing about them. Then I read on my sign and had to admit that was also true.
Take the time to read through this book and you will be delighted to find how much witty information you learn from reading this book! The details are so accurate, it's scary. My favorite way use of this book is in reading about people that are in my life, both men and women...it works for both. I simply ignore the he/him descriptions and change it to work universally for both sexes! Great read, great resource for a sassy overview and understanding the types of people in our lives! Highly recommend!
I really wanted to like this book more than I did, but I have to be honest. I think it's a great, easy way to use Sun sign / Venus signs for a quick composite sketch of the man in question. However, like with most quick composites, it's a "glance at" book. If you're looking at a quick "let's see his love styles" book while browsing at the local library or at your local bookstore, you can pass time with this book.
Otherwise, learn more about astrology and follow your intuition.
Good fun but not as entertaining as I hoped it would be. Most of the 'profiles' just felt like vague psychic mush, although I was amused that my Sun sign/Venus combo was very specifically described as being a bit of a whore. Classy. (Also: NOT TRUE.)
