The Devils Within: The Story Of Torch's Flame
It’s funny how one moment in time can change a mild mannered man into a beast. You’re probably wondering what I mean, huh? You’ll probably even think I’m a mean son-of-a bitch, before I’m through. Even crazy. I understand that, but I can assure you I am neither. I spend most of my day sitting on the porch in my old rocking chair, thinking of what to do with myself next. I’ve finally figured out the meaning of my life, or rather the meaning of that burning inside of me. And not only that. I understand people. What makes them tick.
I guess I’m kind of a fixer. I decide who will live and who will die on any given day. I decide whose life is worth living and whose is not. That may sound harsh to you, but it really isn’t. It’s actually pretty simple. Some people just do not deserve to live. To breathe the same precious air that I breathe. Share the same space. I know… you’re wondering what or who gives me the right. Yeah, well I DO! I give myself that right because I’ve earned it!
It doesn’t matter where my story begins, whether in the North or the South. I’m pretty sure you guessed by now that I am a serial killer. Not just your run of the mill, either. I just like to have a little fun. My idea of fun. I put time, thought, care and purpose into every case. I am a Torch, and I have a legacy to uphold. But don’t worry yourself about who I am, or where I’ll strike next. Just pray you are not on my list and hope that they catch me before I get to you. Rue the day!
