In the final chapter of The God Tools trilogy, the future of mankind hangs in the balance when Dr. Curt Lohan learns of the Cult of the End’s plan to destroy humanity. In desperation, he and Fawn Cortez-Roberson, along with help of CIA analyst Tiffany Bar, embark on a harrowing search to locate the third God Tool and save their friends. A journey fraught with peril leads to a bizarre torture chamber, an ancient underground tomb, and a pristine land unchanged by time where Curt must confront an unimaginable a dark and deadly presence rooted in the dawn of man. With the God Tools in the wrong hands, Curt has but one chance to save his friend Scott Marks, rescue the children known as the seeds, and avert the agonizing death of every person on the planet. To do so, he will be forced to make the ultimate choice. Will it be enough?
I almost hate to write this review, because then it is final that The God Tools Series is finished. This was an excellent ending to an amazing series. Curt and Scott have their roles to play in this final adventure, which expands the bonds of their friendship like never before. The action was fast-paced, as all of the books in the series have been. I loved that the stories of the characters lives were explained in the end so that we weren't left hanging. The writing duo of Gary Williams and Vicky Knerly have once again excelled!
Epic Conclusion. In this truly epic conclusion to the God Tools Trilogy, the fate of humanity is at stake as the three God Tools come together with various human elements. This is the most fantastical book in the trilogy, the first one where the fantasy elements nearly override the human. But Williams and Knerly give a more complete ending than many stories do, and it works with what they had previously established.
This was a fantastic ending to this trilogy series. The three books linked beautifully with respect to all the God Tools and characters' developments. I felt kind of sad that it ended. The ending, however, was tied up nicely.
Having read the first two books in this series, I felt obligated to read this one (even though the second book was iffy at best).
I stopped at "Location 470" when it said, “No, but in my dreams, I’ve seen its creature form: a large, predatory bird. It once fulfilled the role of hunter in order to attain food for Adam and Eve in Eden.”
I'm okay with using Biblical times/people/references to help with a story. I am NOT okay with CHANGING the BIBLE to do it.
Anyone who has read Genesis 2-3 knows that Adam and Eve were vegetarians and it is implied that the animals were as well. It's EDEN, it's PARADISE. No KILLING is necessary. Heck, God is literally visiting, IN PERSON, every afternoon (Genesis 3:8).
What can I say? I feel strangely sad that this story has come to an end, but what an end! I loved that all ends were tied up as so often you don't get that in a series of books, and once again with Gary Williams and Vicky Knerly it was a fast paced page turner.
For those of you that have read the first two books (by the way that is a must), all I will say is..................................who knew you could grow to love that dam fish!
Fantastic finish to the God Tools trilogy! Gary and Vicky creatively weave stories incorporating real life historical sites and biblical teachings into a tapestry of thrilling mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you have not already read these books you should!
I found the start of the trilogy by accident About two weeks ago and I couldn't wait to read all of them. They kept me going crazy until I finally finished them. Well thought out plots and finally drew a great conclusion. No wondering what might happen in later times. Fantastic job.
I don't have enough words to describe the third and final book of this amazing trilogy, "The Gods Tools". The number of hours poured into this incredibly complex, absolutely entertaining, and, I must add, extremely successful, fantastical adventure, must be staggering! It's time extremely well spent! Don't miss a word!
This was a thrilling epilogue to the first two masterpieces written by the exceptional authors who have kept me entranced with the characters and the original plot. Please notify when your next book comes out. RG/cairo10801@gmail.com
I loved this trilogy! One book went beautify into the next. I finish reading it with a heavy heart. I know how it ended had to be that way. I highly recommend this trilogy. It was very fast paced and exciting and I could see this as a mini series on tv or a movie.
I especially liked the end of the third book. More writers should summarize what happened to characters after the story is told. I read these in one day while bedridden. So the characters took on a real life for me. Fun and fantastic read.
