I was wary about reading this at first as there are many books that are like this that do not really cover anything. This book was very insightful and covers a lot of helpful apps and websites. I really enjoyed that along with all the information given for each site that they also had thrown in a great amount of pros and cons for the suggestive website. They also introduced many helpful selling apps and noted down if they had a website or not and what phone os was applicable. This is not a very long book but it is very informative and gives you a great amount of helpful information. I feel it is informative enough that even a beginner could get the hang of it.
This is a good starting point for on-line sales. You will still have to research which would be the best option depending on what you want to sell, how you choose to deliver, other sellers with the same or similar items, etc.
A quick guide to various websites where you call sell off your stuff. I found out some new information, so I liked reading it.

Decent introduction to seller platform alternatives
This book was gave a decent introduction to different seller platforms alternatives beyond eBay and Amazon, which are the two that people generally automatically default to when considering selling items.
This book is by no means complete however, and it's not completely the fault of the writer, as there's always new platforms coming out. For example, there's now Wanelo, which I hear is becoming pretty popular. There's also the classic Craigslist, which everyone already knows about but might not have tried yet. If the author is going to write about eBay and Amazon, then I think she could have also quickly mentioned Craiglist too and talk about why or why not it's useful for sellers, or whether the other platforms she mentions are better than Craigslist.
Somehow, I still don't feel clear on which platforms I should use to sell my things after reading the book. People are creatures of habit, and I usually default to Craigslist because it requires super low effort to list items. It would've been helpful for the author to talk about why these other new platforms are worth the extra time and effort to try out over Craigslist.
Even though the book offers a good introduction, you're still going to have to do a more work to figure out which platforms are most effective for you. The author does give you a head start with the pros and cons of using the platforms so that you may be able to narrow down your choices. But I think the author could've delved deeper with more research and given the reader more empirical information, such as the average number of users and traffic of each platform. This is pretty important information for sellers, and would help the readers know where to focus more of their energy or know how to prioritize the list of platforms to try.
All in all, it was an interesting and quick read and gave a good introduction to alternative seller platforms. Ultimately, I think the content might have worked better has a blog post instead of an ebook, simply because a blog post can be updated with new information and people can add different perspectives and experiences in the comments section. It certainly reads like a blog post, in fact.

I am the cheapest person alive so I often buy from thrift stores, consignment sales, yard sales, etc. I have decided to sell some of my stuff that I no longer use, but I had no idea where to start. I simply don't have the time or patience for yard sales so I was hoping to learn a few ways that I could sell online. Instead of just a list of websites and apps, it also gives the pros and cons of each plus any helpful information you may need. It is super handy that they are split into different categories of where each item is more likely to sell.
