Within Six Months (Wild Roses #1) is a finalist and winner of the 2019 Wisconsin Romance Writers' Write Touch Readers Award, a 2019 finalist of The Beverley Published Authors Award Contest from the Colorado Romance Writers, and a 2020 finalist in Romance Fiction in the American Bookfest Best Book Awards.

Time…escaping his past, struggling with the present, looking towards his future.

Time… a gift, precious, fleeting, ever-changing, moving quickly…too quickly, especially for a man searching for the woman of his dreams.

That’s exactly how photographer Tommy Conte decided he would begin his new life. He left everything he knew behind in search of something special…someone special. His plan was clear. He would move to the beach, renovate an old shore house and find the woman that he would ultimately marry…all within six months.

Was he delusional? Perhaps…yet after everything that had gone on in his life the last few years, he had to take that chance.

Then… as luck would have it, he met Jade Stanton, his new neighbor. Tommy was immediately drawn to her. He wanted and needed to know more.

Perfect right? Wrong…

There was one small problem. Jade wasn’t looking for a long-term relationship like Tommy was. She was done…over it. She swore off anything serious with any man that came her way…until she was backed into a corner and Tommy came to her rescue.

He pretended to be her boyfriend…for just one evening.

It was simple, no strings attached. It was only one night, or so she thought.

Due to circumstances beyond her control, Jade needed Tommy to play his part for a little while longer. She didn’t think it would be a problem. Tommy was fine with it and they both knew it was all just an act. Yet, Jade came to realize the more she pretended, the more she couldn’t deny that she was falling for him. Although she didn’t want Tommy to find out, Tommy knew better; he felt it too.

Tommy realized that the girl he had dreamed of was right there in front of him; and the life he wanted to share with her was finally within his grasp. He decided he couldn't let her slip away. He wouldn't leave it up to fate. He had to try, but Tommy also knew it wouldn’t be easy. Actually, it would be the hardest thing he ever had to do…prove to Jade that she could trust him enough to love him, as much as he loved her.

Within Six Months was such an incredible story! I was so excited for Tommy's story ,and it was definitely my favorite! I fell in love with his character in the Miss Taken series and was so excited when this author announced that his story was in the works. Jade and Tommy were two broken souls that needed to find themselves as well as each other. Jade was perfect . Sweet, beautiful, and had so much love to give if she just opened up. Their story was an extremely emotional one. And their journey was rough. But I loved every twist and turn of this story line. Beautifully written and so many feelings. I will always look at Starfish in a different way now. This is a book that also reminds you to take life by the horns and don't waste a moment of it. Live it to the fullest.

Read For Author:
Cleo Scornavacca touched the very heart of me with this book. It touched so many emotions throughout this book. For me, that's the sign of a good book.
Tommy wanted a fresh start - he didn't tell anyone where that was or what he was doing. Only two people knew Viv the woman he bought the Beach house from and his friend Daniel.
Jade, three years later still closed off from her brother's death is upset to find out someone is "renting" her brothers house little does she know it was the mysterious stranger she had danced with the night before.
Will Jade factor in Tommy's quest for the future or is she so closed of and broken from the past for that to happen?
This is such an excellent book to read I hope you can give it a chance the storyline flows so easily even with a multitude of interesting characters.

Tommy wanted a new start, so he did not tell anyone who he was or what he did. Tommy only knew two people at the beginning of his new start. Viv, who bought the beach house, and his friend Daniel.

I loved Jade and Tommy. Tommy buys Jade's brother's house, then the secrets and lies start. When I read this story, I experienced many emotions: My heart hurt, I was angry, I was happy, and so much more.

Their story is full of love, where they forget the painful memories and surrender to true love.

When Jade and Tommy's special scene came along, I shouted with joy. It was so beautiful. I absolutely love love loved it, I want to say a lot more, however I do not want to spoil it. All I can say it is certainly a perfect story! I am really looking forward to the next book "A Wild Roses" in this spin-off series.

I really enjoyed reading this story. I want to read the second book as soon as possible. Thank you so much for this story! It was really amazing!

P.S. : Folks, buy Cleo's books, and I swear you will not regret reading her books.

I had been dying to read Tommy's story since finishing the Miss Taken Identity Series last summer.
Tommy made a very powerful declaration at the beginning of the book about wanting to start over and begin anew. It really set the tone of his feelings going forward. I have loved his character through all of the other books and wanted him to achieve the happiness that he sought.
I liked Jade instantly, yet knew that she was going to be a challenge. Tommy meeting her on the dance floor was so sensual and perfect. Their chemistry was palpable to the point of scorching. I could already tell that I was going to love their dynamic. I enjoyed all of the characters and their overlapping lives in Within Six Months. I was intrigued by several of the relationships that were introduced.
As always, Scornavacca was able to evoke a wide range of emotions from me as I was reading. Jade's painful story about Jimmy was heartbreaking and really painted the picture of why she currently felt as she did about relationships, as well as the reason why she continued to cling to so much heartache even after all that time. The painful twists and how all of the events and people were connected was well done.
Learning more about Tommy's plan touched my heart, and as he opened up more and more to Jade, my heart truly ached for him. When Tommy was on the phone with Rain, it brought back all of my memories of their times together in the previous books and I found them to be bittersweet to endure. Rain is always a sassy breath of fresh air and I love her more every time I read her.
Watching Jade slowly accept and open up about her feelings was touching. I was eager to see her finally stop fighting what she knew in her heart that she wanted. When Jade and Tommy finally came together physically, it was like bright fireworks bursting on the horizon. I enjoyed watching Jade share more of herself with Tommy, even if just a little at a time.
When Reece dropped the bomb from Tommy's past at Jade's feet, things spiraled out of control and I was eager to see what would happen next between them. Throw that hidden letter into the mix, and I was on the edge of my seat.
I loved it when things finally got on the right track and they truly started opening up to one another. They were great together and their pasts really fit well with one another. This line says it all: “Take away the nightmares, Tommy. Replace them with you.”
Within Six Months did a fantastic job of demonstrating the hope that can be found in new love. I am really looking forward to the next book in this spin-off series.

From beginning to end this book captured my heart. The familiar setting of the Jersey Shore made me remember places I had gone to when I was younger. The love Story between Jade and Tommy was amazing. The tragedy that Jade went through and still was able to fall in love and find the perfect guy for her is the best kind of story. This was my favorite read of the summer hands down.

~ Starfish and Turtles ~

From the moment Jade fell into Tommy's arm a connection was made. They both felt it, especially while they were dancing the first time they met. An emergency pulls them apart, not knowing if they will ever see each other again. The next day proves they will, and will be neighbors. Many Ups and downs will be in their future. Friendships are made, relationships are tested, pasts are revealed. All that left me on an emotional rollercoaster that I loved. But could Tommy and Jade survive it?
♡♡♡♡
I have so many parts that I really love in this story, but one of my favorites is when Tommy is working on pulling out kitchen cabinets and part of the ceiling comes crashing down. Jade finds him standing there with dust and debris all around him.

☆☆☆
"Took on more than I could handle, obviously. I set out to do the impossible and lost." Tommy sulked sarcastically.
" Not exactly defeated, though. AND in less than six months." I said with arms crossed, leaning on the door frame.
"What do you mean?"

☆☆☆

I highly recommend you pick up and devour Tommy and Jade~ especially if you want to find out what Jade meant!! **wink wink**

Wonderful stand alone- with a lovely interaction of characters from the authors previous series (Miss Taken Identity). I loved meeting the entire "family" and even loved to hate the Montgomerys. The plot is amazing and truly love how the story intwines the storylines effortlessly.

I couldn't read this further than 30%. There was too much explanations and it was confusing as how many people are connected to each other. I seriously wanted to love this book.

The main characters, Jade and Tommy, with their different personalities and lifestyles, come together making this a page-turner story. Each one has their own history and a relationship between them seems almost impossible in the beginning. I loved this story and its plot kept me going until the end. I might also mention the secondary characters were loveable as well. I look forward to reading another story by author Cleo Scornavacca.

What a great read from Cleo Scornavacca. Tommy and Jade's story takes you on a very emotional journey, learning to deal with grief and finding love when you least expect it.

Tommy is looking for a fresh start he wants someone in his life to love and start a family with. He decides to buy a property on the beach it's needs renovating but it's the beginning of his fresh start. When he meets his new neighbour Jade there's an instant chemistry but she's not looking for a relationship. Tommy will have his work cut out for him where Jade is concerned but he's determined to make her his.

A solid 4 stars from me and a story I would highly recommend.

This is author Cleo Scornavacca's newest series, it does have a tie in to her Miss Taken books, but it can easily be read as a standalone and the reader will have no problems catching up or even just starting here. If you haven't read her other books, you should! They are amazing!

This book is about Tommy and Jade. Tommy is running from his life and Jade is just barely making it through hers by just going through the motions. Tommy buys Jade's brother's home and the secrets and lies begin. Tommy and Jade both have issues to work through, but their chemistry is off the charts! This is where the reader starts their roller coaster ride of emotions. This story will make the reader laugh, cry, yell, curse and at times re-write the story in their head to make it the way that they want it to go. Don't worry, the author makes the reader happy and it is a concrete ending that leaves the reader satisfied.

The plot is unique, there is a bit of twists throughout the book - it is not a straight and predictable path at all for the reader. The author's writing style is smooth, so smooth in fact, that the reader may be reading and lose all track of time...you will get sucked in and it will be hard for you to get out of this story! Be prepared to be wowed - this is going to be your next book hangover!!

From Miss Taken series comes the stunning story of Tommy Conte, best friend of Rain...
While I was Mr. Kane's "captive", Tommy has alwyas be a mistery for me, he was an intriguing character, and I wanted to read about him, dig into his story, his background. In Within Six Months, we see Tommy as a man, full of redemption of what he did and what he wants in his life. Yes, Tommy did things, but who is saint? He is kind, loving, loyal, strong man.
When he meets Jade, it is instant, their attraction is mutual and Tommy will stop at nothing to make Jade his.
Jade is such a beautiful young lady. Jade's painful story about Jimmy was heartbreaking and really painted the picture of what and why she currently felt about relationships.
Tommy and Jade's story was an extremely emotional one. And their journey was rough. But I loved every twist and turn of this story line.

This book gives you all the feels a wonderful romance novel should give you. You get struggle, acceptance, hurt, pain, and then love when you least expect it.
Tommy and Jade both are running from things in their lives and we will go through it with them. It's like you can feel their emotions pour off the pages. A pretending leads to so much more but are either of these two ready?

Tommy stated at the very beginning of the book that he was ready to start over and find his happiness. I loved that and knew right away what he was looking for. I love his character. I fell in love with Jade as soon as I met her. Beautiful and sweet. The instant connection between the two told me that they could be something fantastic, if only Jade would open up and let it happen. They had a rough road to travel, but all the hard times is worth it in the end. Beautifully written, emotional and a great story. Will definitely be reading more from this author!

This was the first book by Cleo Scornavacca that I have read, however I will now go back and read the Miss Taken series. I really enjoyed this book and the characters. I thought they were very well developed and the book was well written given the seriousness of the back story of both main characters I look forward to reading more books from this author. This is the first book I have read/reviewd of Cleo Scornavacca. It will not be the last. It stands alone very well but I must read the Miss Taken stories soon so I can get the history of these characters..
Tommy and Jade meet and the sizzle is mutual.. They part without knowing the mutual connection that exists between them. This story is a beautiful slow burn story so well written I was hard pressed to put it down for any reason.
Read it, you will not regret it.

Tommy and Jade are both broken characters and they work hard at trying to move on with their lives. This is a beautifully written story, which is raw, gritty, heartbreaking, emotional, and with twists which all had me totally captivated throughout. This talented author has done an amazing job in penning this story, and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

A enjoyable read that is filled with powerful emotions. These two characters are both wounded and that just makes the growing romance between them all the more poignant. I really liked Tommy and Jades chemistry. This is a book that deals with lots of emotions and the sweetness of it will melt your heart. I'm voluntarily posting an honest review.

Tommy and Jades story was so sweet. I was rooting for them through the entire book. Six months is a short time to rebuild a house, fall in love, and start a life with someone. Tommy was determined to do just that. Will Tommy find everything he is searching for within that time frame or will it take him longer?

Hmmm...where to start...this book just hit me wrong kn all kinds of ways..I couldnt connect with any of the characters and it was just odd...there was a very serious storyline involved but it lacked all the emotions that should have come along with it...the hero calling someone else baby made it hard for me to see a real connection between him and the heroine...and then there was Reece who it seemed was some big important person and was more alpha than the hero...just not for me..

Sorrry, but this is awful.. As it was written by a child without imagination. The dialogues are boring, too. However, the cover is hot.
