This is an older book by Carol Rose and I absolutely loved it. A small town girl comes home after a scandal and tries to avoid the gossip that isn't true. She has her work cut out for herself,to gain respect and start her life again. Come along and see what happens with Nora and Bret.
Loved the book...but the story was short! The ending was abrupt for me. In a nut shell, it's got a great story about overcoming obstacles to achieve your goals, overcoming gossip of a small town, and love. I'm not giving away anymore hints. =)
