Psst. I did it y’all. I, Sammy Bradford, have a boyfriend. Well, you can imagine how elated I’m feeling—I mean, come on…it’s been a long road to get here. I’m ever the optimist but even I had my doubts for a minute there. Now if I can only get him to put a ring on it…
The “Single Wide Female” books are written for every woman out there who has struggled with their weight, self-esteem and any number of issues that we all face as we work to become the best versions of ourselves that we can be.
They are meant to be light-hearted and fun, but I do hope that they will inspire you to live your life to the fullest, loving yourself completely as you do so.
I really hated this story! First of all, it was set one year after the events of The Date. We never really got to see Samantha act in a girlfriend capacity to Max, or how their relationship evolved from best friends to relationship couple. Instead, Sammy was engagement happy, obsessing about the fact that Max had not yet proposed to her, and trying to devise ways to force the issue. Even when friends were counseling patience, Sammy was bull-headed and wanted everything her way, right now! I lost all respect for her, what little I had left after the debacle that was the Bucket List series. Trust me, this is not worth the money or time spent on it!
I'm confused. They had their one year anniversary celebration but he proposed on the day (a year later) that he was there with Stephanie and had realized he loved her. The time line doesn't work.
