Good story

Very interesting family dynamic between the brothers and their women. Loved the happy ending but an epilogue would have Benn well received.

Oh My Goodness

Loved this story. This is a story of a very strong independent woman who happened to be in the wrong place. Kendra happened to walk in on a city councilman in the midst of a drug deal running out of the building she run into Sacha. Sacha put Kendra, her brother Cliff and her mom under his protection. Wonderful story of two people learning to love.

Okay Romance

Okay I really wanted this to be a really good story and a worthy follow-up to Sacha's brother Viktor's story. This is a story with so much promise but loses its way.The actiion, drama and sex all seem disjointed.I am not getting a sense these two people are one or that they are together.I think it needs to be retooled and released again after a fine tooth comb has gone through.A okay story just not great.

It was ok

It took me a while to get through this book, but I stuck with it. There were some parts that made no sense and lots of grammatical errors.

I wanted more from this story. I thought because Sacha was Russian, rich and a lawyer he was going to be able to do more or have more connections. However, I was gravely wrong. He did have resources but it just wasn't enough for the type of alpha he was presented as being. I liked the 'non-emotional contract' between Sacha and Kendra. I just wish that Sacha's thought process developed as his actions did. I never figured out why Kendra was so distrusting of men.

The storyline was decent. I just found that the editing could have been better. There were too many errors that took away from the reading to me. I felt the publisher/editor/author should have paid a little closer detail to words that will not be picked up in spell grammar check if it's not misspelled.

Highly recommended!👏

Kendra is one headstrong black female. She is very feisty especially when it comes to Sacha. She overhear something that end up changing her. You will love Sacha and Kendra adventure.

Not good

This book appeared to have no editing done. Totally unbelievable storyline. Written like someone with very mediocre writing abilities. ***SPOILER****Sasha was a "Billionaire" with zero power. He met Kendra who was an Attorney. Very early on he was thrust into the 'KNIGHT" role. He took her & her 5 year old brother into his home to protect them from a political drug lord. I say protect lightly. Although Sasha was a billionaire, he couldn't buy a clue to spend his money on top notch security. Not one dime. He thought he could out smart a drug lord by moving from one of his personal properties to the next. Not smart AT ALL.. Of course there was a no strings attached contract. I'll screw you but we can't develop any feelings because of course we're both commitment phoebes. I hate these kind of grown men who love to play hard to get but do all the things to get. Errors with the storyline was The h, Kendra; her mother was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. The mother had a son, cliff at the beginning of her illness that Kendra had to care for. Mother ended up being put in a home by Sasha. Kendra rarely visited but at the death of the mother. The story said she was Cliffs grandmother and no one corrected this. Writers error. Definitely horrible editing. Spelling was awful along with to many grammatical errors to mention. I don't like giving bad ratings but I dislike even more wasting time on poorly written no substance or creative writing.

I really really wanted to LOVE this book...but I ended up "really like bland "...and I think it had to do with some of the plot twists that seemed way too over-the-top and not realistic. The first novel (Vitkor)was better than this one because this story had great potential but poorly executed. In the story of Vitkor, Sacha was strong, brutal and a true slpha-male. In an attempt to build him up to be a strong loving hero, he is whimpy, confused and weak. Initially, he stated Alisa Peterson was his kid mother and that she cheated on him with one of his friend then later on in the book he states "the child's mom is suddenly Jessica Latham, whom he only ever had a sexual relationship with"  and the relationship between Sacha and Kendra wasn't developed enough because of their repetitious banter about the contract and not emotion...All this back-and-forth between them for almost the entire book got so old. The writing was sometimes rushed and need editing improvement.Overall, I was disappointed with this second book. I had hoped it would have been better than the  first book but it fell a little too short!!!!!

This book can be read as a standalone or after Viktor. Sacha's character trait's completely change from Viktor which is too bad because I liked his character in Viktor. The editing is not any better in this book than in Viktor, but you can figure out what is trying to be said for the most part. You will get a little bit of an update on Viktor and Alia in this book. I did like this story, but it followed the plot line too closely to Viktor that it was almost like I was rereading that story (explained below in spoiler).

***SPOILER***

My biggest problem is both Viktor and Sacha's books following the same story line. Girl gets into trouble, men step in to protect them even though they are strangers, girl end up feeling guilty so they take matters into their own hands to capture bad guy(s) in the process the men get shot in the shoulder, bad guy(s) is eliminated in some way and then the book just ends when the relationship actually starts.

Epilogue

An epilogue would've been great to see how the e dry one settled into the new family dynamics. It also would've been nice to see things from Lopez's perspective as well. This book had some good potential to be more, though I'm tired of the "billionaire" bandwagon.
