I don't even know what I just read.... if you're lookin for a hot m/m alpha biker MC.... keep lookin.. this was utterly ridiculous.
The cover is hot sure... but I don't even know how to explain this one, I skimmed most of it to be honest...I felt like Roland was a heavy set virgin who got taken advantage of hardcore by a man in prison. What started out as penpals, he went to meet him when he got out and it was awkward and just... pathetic.... then, Arcangelo (what kinda name is that), goes to this clubhouse and here you think of bikers but it wasn't like that at all, they said they had his back but at the same time said they couldn't help him.... nobody was there when he got out and he'd went down for "the club".... Isn't one of the only rules in a club is their loyalty to their brothers? The whole biker club prospective was a joke, so horribly depicted.
Also hope you weren't expecting a HEA, cuz... that didn't happen either.... the absolute opposite happened... And Arcangelo was a horrible person, just....bad.... shooting at little kids for crying? And Roland is so epically pathetic and desperate and a waste of space, he just follows him around like a little lap dog... I did not get it at all.....Not any of it
I just.... blah, I don't even know.... I don't like to talk about someone's hard work and the story they want to tell, I know how hard it is.... but this one was just so bad... I'm trying to find one redeeming quality about it but I just can't. One star was beyond generous
Just wow
