Love makes you crazy. It warps your sense of direction, causing your world to shift and turn on its axis. Love is an anchor that wraps its steely chains around your heart and crushes the ever-loving life out of you.

Sasha Lee won't suffer fools again. She’d been there, done that, and has the internal injuries to prove it. As a renowned Boston orthopedic surgeon and clinic owner, she’s worked relentlessly to help others recover from their own injuries, because she knows pain, if left unattended, will eat you alive.

Jackson “Jax” Koda loves a good challenge, because anything that comes too easy just isn’t worth it. A corporate lawyer by day, he’s one half of the esteemed Camden Ventures dynamic duo, vetting crazy deals and capitalizing on their business success. But when the work is done, his interests lie elsewhere. Music and women - both incredible elixirs for his soul and body. And his newest challenge is finding a way to get Sasha back in his bed.

When their engaged best friends call upon Sasha and Jackson to plan their joint bachelor-bachelorette party, the two find themselves at odds bickering over inconsequential details, all the while trying to figure out how to keep their fiery chemistry contained and their sexy secret under wraps.

Just one night together may not be enough to satisfy their curiosity. What started out as just physical, may just turn into something unexpectedly more.

Edited 5.18.16 due to egregious errors committed on my tiny phone keyboard.

1.5 stars rounded to 2 (for math reasons)

I must be a glutton for punishment, because I didn't enjoy the first book but I went on to read the second one anyway. Don't ask me why. I don't understand myself.

Anyway, this book wasn't badly written, but it was boring. Others might really enjoy it. There certainly were aspects that I liked, but not enough of them for overall enjoyment.

What I liked:
1) Both MCs are living the single free life. This isn't your typical manwhore H with the little virginal h. As much as I don't really enjoy reading about this lifestyle, it makes them more equal in my eyes. They were both honest about the physical. That was so refreshing.
2) The alternating povs.
3) The h was a smart and successful woman. She also wasn't socially awkward, which is a huge plus.

What I didn't like:
1) The h. I understand her fear, but it didn't make me like her very much.
2) Too much sex. I skimmed a lot of this book since it just too repetitive and unnecessary. It felt less significant because there was so much of it and I like the MCs in any book to have more than that to go on.
3) Too much telling, not enough showing.
4) This story was a little boring and nothing was original.

Sasha and Jackson have there best friends in common . They are getting married and it is the responsibility of there's to put together a bachelor party for them. Sasha and Jackson have always had a fiesty relationship by verbally barbing at each other. This doesn't stop it only intensifies. The messages and emails that she starts sending him are more hyper sexual and he returns them. They start having an undeniable attraction for each other.

The concern is can they over come the things in there past to allow there future lives to succeed with out interference. The have the most amazing instant connection but can it last.

I love reading this story. I felt like the story could be read as a book independently if you desired but it was nice if you read the previous book in this series because you got to follow up more on the previous two main characters.

I would recommend this book and author to other readers. I read a few book by her and have enjoyed all of them.

More than physical is one erotic love story. Standalone but part of the series. The book was in the beginning funny and the way it started I thought it real is going to be excellent but going through the end the enthusiasm was gone.
The writing was good both characters were well developed but the whole book was basically just sex. If they didn’t do it then they thought about the last time together, or they were thinking what they can do to each other. If it was not the sex then it Sasha was thinking of all the praise of Jax. And in Jax case was the same. So basically there was not a lot of story going on. And the sex was also not special there was on time bounding but that was all.
So if you are horny and want to read light story whit a lot of sex than this book is for you.

This is the second book in the Physical Series, with Rylie and Mitch making appearances, but it can definitely be read as a standalone.

Let me begin by saying this was A LOT hotter than the first in this series. Ms. Hill definitely upped her game with this push and pull romance. I'm still blushing!!! Both Jackson and Sasha were fun to follow. Their witty banter was hysterical, especially when emails and phone calls were involved. Even if Sasha was tougher than I would've been with such a fun guy like Jackson pursuing her, she had her reasons for pushing him away and redeemed herself in the end. Loved the epilogue! Looking forward to the next in the series! Dylan will definitely be lots of fun!

Amazing

I loved this book! Great characters, good concept, wonderful idea to bring to the forefront the struggle many people who suffer from depression face every day. Very sexy man who cares enough to dig deeper into the psych of the woman he cares for. Two thumbs up!

Sasha and Jackson have an out-of-control chemistry that resulted in one hot night that neither of them could soon forget. Sasha likes to get under Jackson’s skin and drive him crazy with her wild behavior and rude comments. Jackson never forgot their crazy night eight months ago and when they were tasked with planning a party for their best friends, he knew it wouldn’t be long until he had Sasha in his bed again. But why pursue a woman who tries so hard to run the other way? Because Jax loves a challenge and if he could win Sasha’s heart it would be the biggest accomplishment of his life. Sasha had no desire to fall for any of Jackson’s sexy glances and flirtatious promises. Their one hot night left her with memories she would have forever. Sasha had no room in her life or heart for a player like Jackson. He would never commit to one woman for a lifetime, or would he?

More Than Physical is a fantastic read. I loved this one so much. Sasha is sassy, knows how she wants things, and is always looking for a little fun. Jackson is more relaxed and calculated. These two are opposite in every way except for the love of their friends Rylie and Mitch. There is such chemistry between Jackson and Sasha that burns up the pages. I love how Jax slowly breaks down Sasha's walls and proves that she deserves more. I love these two and how they dig deep and see new sides of each other. They just make perfect sense and balance each other out. You are just going to love their banter in and out of the bedroom. i could not get enough of this one. I cannot wait for more to come.

4 "Rowdy & Shorty" Stars

This book was better than the 1st one, but still needs some work. This author is great out of the gates but needs some help in the last 25% of both books 1 & 2. This one didn't have as many holes but still seems to wrap up too quickly & neatly for my liking. The first part of this book was one of the funniest books I've read with the back & forth between our hero & heroine. I loved Ms. Hill's quit whit & one liners! This is the 2nd book of this series but each book is based on different characters & can be read independently as a standalone. It looks like Book 3 will be Rylie's brother, Dylan's book Physical Distraction but at the time do not have a release date to my knowledge, but looks projected for next month.

Our main characters are both best friends of Mitch & Rylie from book #1 Physical Touch. From the first meeting, Jackson & Sasha have disliked each other without really knowing each other. They finally hook up in Cabo while their w/ Pretty Boy & IQ. Fighting their physical attraction & hanging on to their angst got this book started to Laugh Out Loud & Spit Out Your Drink reading. I really liked this couple even more than the first couple. Ms. Hill has some great characters & with a little more work in creating a better climax & taking more time with wrapping everything up, she could have a 5* book in my opinion. The sexual chemistry is out of the park combustible between the main characters. We also see glimpses of Mitch & Rylie as they try to help their friends navigate the waters while having one of the busiest times of their lives.

I would still be interested in reading future books by this author as I think she will be able to work through any plot & ending problems in the future as there already seems she's learned in between this book & her first book in the series. I also hope Mark finds his HEA before this series is done.

"More than Physical" is the second book in the Physical Series by Sierra Hill. Having not read the previous one, my understanding is that this book focuses on different characters than the first, and therefore is easy to read as a standalone.

This book begins with relationship between the two main characters immediately established: Sasha Leonetti (shortened to Lee), wakes up from a one night stand with her rival, Jackson Koda. The two are the respective best friends of Rylie and Mitch, the engaged couple planning their wedding (and, from my understanding, the main characters from the first instalment in this series). Despite intial (and shallow) reservations, the two continue to see each other while planning the wedding/bachelor(ette) party.

The writing for this book, during the brief interludes from sex scenes, was actually well done and the dialogue (again, outside of the sexting and sex scenes) was realistic and very readable. Interesting back stories for each character are hinted at: Sasha's heartbreak over the end of her previous relationship, and Jackson's estrangement from his parents. However, these potentially interesting developments are abandoned in favour of more sex scenes. As well, both characters are given interesting careers: Sasha is an orthopedic surgeon and Jackson is a lawyer for the business he started with Mitch. Again, the potentially interesting points here are ignored for further sex scenes.

While "More than Physical" undoubtedly has potential, it basically just becomes a better written version of a Sylvia Day book. Further expansion on any real plot would have made this a more enjoyable read in my books, but for those just looking for a light read, this would be sufficient. Just make sure not to read it anywhere in public.

Overall, I received a free copy of this book in from the author/publisher via a Goodreads giveaway. With that in mind, it is not exactly my type of book and hence I may not have enjoyed it as much as others will. Any readers of the romance/erotica genre will likely enjoy this book more and I would recommend it fans of the genres.

More Than Physical by Sierra Hill is an erotic romance. Although it is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone novel.

Sasha Leonetti is a physician with her own clinic. She’s short on stature but tall on sass and crass. Her college sweetheart broke her heart and her psyche; she’s vowed to be a love ‘em and leave ‘em type ever since.

Jackson Koda, corporate lawyer by day and music aficionado by night, is a tall drink of water in the Sahara. While his estrangement from his parents has made him commitment shy, a certain someone has him thinking that having a woman in his life might not be so bad.

Sasha and Jackson are thrown together by circumstance: their respective best friends are getting married. Too bad Sasha and Jackson are oil and water...until a bottle of tequila is thrown in the mix. Their banter is fun whether in person or via email and text message. The dialogue highlights their fabulous chemistry.

For me, there was too much focus on sex. If Sasha and Jackson aren’t intimately engaged, they’re thinking about it. More Than Physical was mostly physical in my estimation since much of the book describes bedroom scenes. The plot is thin, but quality of the writing is otherwise good.

If you’re looking for a steamy escape with a little snarky banter on the side, More Than Physical by Sierra Hill fits the bill.

REVIEW OF MORE THAN PHYSICAL by Sierra Hill

What happens when two relationship phoebes get together for a night of magical and so hot sex?? Well read More Than Physical and find out. The author has done a really good job developing each character so that the reader can understand the reasons behind their behavior. The world created is fun to read about.
It is a push and pull by each character and throughout the book there are all the goings on around the wedding of their two best friends. This is a fun and sexy read with a few heart felt moments and a HEA for the romantic in you. It is also about finding your soulmate and having the strength to grab hold and fight past old hurts to keep them. Recommended to any romance lovers especially if you love hot sex!!
