When good and evil collide, who will be left standing? Eden Cross is lonely. If she didn’t have her beloved cat, Onyx, she’d have no one at all. Eden longs for companionship, but, being a prisoner, all she gets is foul-mouthed demons and hatred from the one man she wants respect from the most. Collier Brigham is son of the King of Demons. Bitter with hatred, like his father, he’s expected to be a force to be reckoned with. He never believed love would rear its ugly head in his favor. Especially not when the woman is the daughter of the man who is to blame for the deaths of his mother and brother. She is a beautiful force of nature and he is misery personified. When secrets are revealed, can they see past the unthinkable and work together to right their wrongs?

I was given a copy of Onyx Unleashed in return for an honest review.
Paranormal are my favourite genre, so when I was offered a chance to read Onyx, I could not wait to start!!
So the story starts with Eden Cross who we learn is being held against her will by a demon, the reason for this is because her family where involved in him losing his partner. So Eden comes to the realisation that her prisoner’s sexy half demon son Collier isn’t what he seems and instead of keeping her captive is actually protecting her.
As the story evolves Collier and Eden both decide that they must come together to fight his Evil father, to protect themselves, and world around them. The chemistry they both have is heart warming and sexy, the story line and the twists and turns pull you in to this dark, sexy romance and make you wonder what’s going to happen next. The suspense has you holding your breath at times, while swooning over Collier the next. Taking this journey with them both ducking and diving through the lies and deceit, I was keeping my fingers crossed they both stay alive and together.
If you love reading paranormal romances, with a good mix of suspense, mystery with a dark sexy demon to get your heart rate up, then maybe you should check out this author and download Onyx Unleashed today.
I will be defiantly checking out the next book in the Good vs. Evil series especially after such an unexpected twist to the ending of this story.
I was given a copy of Onyx Unleashed in return for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this paranormal romance, it is unlike anything I have read in the paranormal genre recently and I loved that. In the story we meet Collier who is the son of the kind of demons and Eden, a lonely woman with only her cat Onyx as company and someone who loves her. The story is fun, fast paced and full of twists and turns that you don't see coming.
I loved the dynamic between Collier and Eden and getting to see not only how they interact together but how they felt about each situation. In the beginning of the story Eden wants nothing to do with Collier and while Collier wants Eden he finds himself putting his foot in his mouth or acting in ways that less than than express what he actually feels. Getting to see the relationship change and grow through the time they spend together and the actions of 3rd party characters was fun. While this is definitely a romance I felt like there was a lot of action and some mystery as well that kept the story moving and the pages turning. And the end has a twist you won't see coming at all!!!
As the authors second book and a venture far from the direction of her first I think she did an excellent job of character description and building, bringing all of the characters to life and allowing the reader to really feel the connection between Collier and Eden. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance, especially one that offers a different feel from the typical paranormal romance!

ARC received from Black Widow Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
I was intrigued with the synopsis of this book and jumped at the opportunity read it. It was also my first time reading any work by this author. I love a good paranormal romance tale and this storyline was definitely a change from the norm.
We follow Eden, who has been kept a prisoner for decades by the tall, dark & brooding Collier (insert devilishly handsome as well here!), son of the King of Demons with only her cat, Onyx, for company. It’s obvious there are feelings on both sides which they try to hide but the attraction is obvious to all those around them even if they are in denial.
We uncover many secrets and lies through the journey of their story and all is not as it seems. I enjoyed how their relationship developed with each new discovery made and ideas/beliefs tested as they enter into ultimate battle of Good vs. Evil!
There are also numerous secondary characters in the book with their own stories which I enjoyed. The ending left me reeling with the twist and I wonder what the author will do as a result in Book 2.
The only downside to the story was that I personally struggled with the style of writing, but as it’s only the author’s second book it wouldn’t put me off picking up Book 2.
Collier is dark, damaged and mysterious. Eden is pure and sassy, yet forgiving. He's a demon with a grudge and she's something else entirely. Despite their troubled coexistence, their attraction is electric and neither heaven nor hell can tear them apart.
This is quite an intriguing romantic journey, with skin splitting demons that'll have you by the scruff of your neck and beautiful paranormal creatures brought to you only by the author's creative mind.
If you enjoy reading adventurous paranormal romances, then maybe Onyx Unleashed is for you. If you'd like to learn what happens when good and evil collide, then you should give this one a try.
I look forward to seeing what the author comes up with for the next book in the Good vs. Evil series after such a wild and twisted ending!
This is the first time reading anything by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing story. This is paranormal story which is one of my favorite genre. This story starts out with Eden Cross been held by a demon against her will, it seems it because her family was involved in him losing his partner. But Eden realizes that her prisoner's half demon son Collier , who is very sexy isn't what he seems, but instead of keeping her captive is really her protector. But Collier and Eden both decided that they must come together and protect themselves and the world around them from his evil step father. The chemistry between these two is hot and sexy and very heartwarming . The story line that Tanya Vough wrote pulls you into the story from start to finish, the twists and turns will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. I could go on and tell you more about this amazing story ,but that would spoil the story for you. I highly recommend you read this amazing story, you won't be disappointed
An interesting paranormal story that is both a promising start to a new series, and an intriguing read. My usual genre's that I pick up are either dystopian or romantic erotica, so this was a completely different style in both terms of writing and story-telling. Unleashed is written in third person present tense, so it's a bit jarring at first until you're able to get into the story. The chapters are short and by chapter six you fall right into the flow. Overall there are engaging characters and a plot that will keep you turning the pages. I recommend to lovers of paranormal romance that are adults do to language and content.
I received a copy for free from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Paranormal is definitely not my genre of choice. I have read so many awful books in this genre, I tend to stray away from it completely. But not this one, I really enjoyed it. The author did a great job of building the world and keeping the reader, me, engaged. The story itself was fun, fast-paced and full of twists, that keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved how the author took two people, different and put them together. each other and put them together. In the very beginning, Eden wanted nothing to do with Collier, but felt differently, he definitely wanted Eden, but seemed bumbly or defensive around her never really getting a chance to show how he truly felt and was a lot of fun watching as this relationship grew. Fantastic story.
Poor Eden has been locked up for 75 years in Collier's castle and is his slave. She was taken from her home when she was only 9 years old. She hasn't really been treated like a real slave even though Collier's father Lucian would like to change that. Collier can't bear for anything to happen to Eden and he will fight even his father if he has too. Eden manages to go out with Collier and is stopped by his father who takes Collier and beats him severely and Drew takes Eden to a hideout where she is reunited with her parents. This story has a lot of action and really keeps you going right up to the surprise ending. Reviewed on behalf of Once upon a Alpha
Although Paranormal is not my usual genre, I loved this book. From the first page, Tanya pulls you in to the web that is Eden and Collier. There is a chemistry between them that is undeniable. There is suspense that keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. Collier, even though he is a demon, shows his kinder side when it comes to her. As they make their journey, becoming closer as time goes by, will the secrets and lies tear them apart? Or are they strong enough to make it last? Find out!
A sexy demon with a heart for love...if you like paranormal romance this definitely worth a read! I enjoyed seeing how the relationship developed between Eden and Collier as they embark on a journey of good vs evil. This story showcases the authors wonderful imagination bringing this unique story to life. Lots of twists and turns to keep you captivated until the end. I look forward to finding out what happens next!
Told in multiple POVs, Onyx Unleashed is imaginative with interesting twists and memorable characters. This is the second book by this author and I look forward to watching Tanya Vought grow as a writer and story teller.
Wow! I did not see that coming!!! This book is intense, sexy, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. You completely think you're on the right track storyline wise for it to change and throw you for a loop. Really good story.

I really love paranormal reads. I tried really hard to get into this book, but I just couldn’t.
Likes- I loved the story line and twists. I even liked the characters and their personalities. I liked the descriptions of the characters demons. Some of the twists I seen coming while others were a surprise.
Dislikes- I didn’t like the view in which it was written. I also struggled with the flow of the book. I like being able to get lost in a book and have it flow like a movie reel in my mind. I felt like I had to concentrate too hard on the reading that it just didn’t do that for me.
Even though I found many things I disliked, this book does keep you interested and keeps you wanting to continue the series. I have no doubt in my mind this Author and this series can go the distance. I’m sure the writing style and flow will improve and I’m looking forward to the 2nd book.
Although I struggled with this book I would still recommend it to others.
Onyx Unleashed is the book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, wondering what is going to happen next. It’s fast-paced, full of adventure and twists you don't see coming. This story is very different from anything I’ve ever read and I loved that. I was also in awe of the author’s creative mind the whole time I was reading the book. Tanya Vought created this whole unique world filled with captivating paranormal creatures. And all of them felt so real, it felt like I was seeing them right in front of me. I enjoyed the romance of the story. Collier and Eden are perfect for one another. The chemistry they have is sizzling, electric. And the way they treat each other, love one another is very heart-warming and sweet. Collier is a mysterious and sexy demon with a heart of a lion. The sacrifices he made for his Eden made me swoon. Despite all the troubles and struggles, Eden and Collier never give up, they stay side by side. Not to give away any details, I’ll just say that Onyx Unleashed is a really enjoyable read. The story line reeled me in from the first page, and then there was this twist at the end of this story I never saw coming! I can’t wait for the next book in the Good vs. Evil series!
Onyx Unleashed is the first book in the Good vs. Evil Series by Tanya Vought. Eden cross has been a prisoner of Collier Brigham, who just happens to be the son of the King of Demons for decades and sees no bright light in her future except for the love of her cat Onyx and her secret crush on her captor. Collier was forced to take Eden as his prisoner by his father who told him the Eden’s family killed his mother, but it takes everything in his power to fight the attraction he has for Eden. Finally everything comes to a head with all the secrets coming out and changing everything. Can these two fight the evil forces that are trying to tear them apart or will they be too late and succumb to the demon king?
This is a good paranormal romance. I did like the theme of this story it is defiantly something I haven’t read before. Tanya had a great idea with this and I can’t wait to see how her writing grows with this story. I haven’t read any books by her and it seems this is only her second book. I feel she will come to be a great author with awesome stories and I can’t wait to follow her on her path.
This is the first book I have read by the author. I love reading paranormal romances and could not wait to get started. Once I got started I could not put the book down, I had to know what was going to happen next. It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. This book is intense and sexy all at the same time. I loved the suspense and the twists in the story. Collie and Eden where the perfect characters. Their love story is truly amazing. Eden and Colliers love for each other is beyond amazing. I loved to see their relationship develop. Collier is a sexy demon who is so dreamy, and Eden being the beautiful demon angle she is is what made their love more fantastic. I thought the author did a excellent job giving character descriptions and building the story. The ending wow was it a shocker! I highly recommend this book and hope for a second book of Collier and Eden. Thanks for writing an amazing book Tanya Vought!

Thanks for an awesome read!
I was given a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. When I got my hands on this book I was drawn in by the blurb and the sexy cover. They are both very enticing. And the story seems like an interesting one. Eden Cross is being held prisoner by a demon, supposedly because her family caused the demon to lose his beloved. She’s recently realized that her captor's sexy half demon son Collier isn’t what he seems and is actually protecting her. Now they must battle his dangerous demon father to rid the world of his evil. It really sounds intriguing, doesn’t it? And like I said the story itself is quite interesting. It was the writing and dialog that kept it from greatness. Both felt a bit forced at times. It did have a good twist ending that makes you question everything. I think I’ll have to give this one 3.5 stars.
This book was a struggle. Here are the pros and cons: The concept it really interesting. She is being held prisoner because the bad guys are looking for her father. The bad guys are demons which is a different paranormal twist. You don't know whats going on at first so you are intrigued and want to keep reading to figure out what the heck is happening! The cons, however, outweighed the pros for me. The writing felt awkward at times and sometimes I was rolling my eyes at how cheesy it was. I would roll my eyes, but then the next line would be intriguing so I would keep reading. This went on for a few chapters and finally I just couldn't take any more. This was a DNF for me. I think it had potential but the writing just didn't work for me.
I love paranormal romance and the synopsis was GREAT! I wanted to love this story but all I loved was the synopsis, the beginning and the end! The end was a surprise and it was pretty awesome!!!
Sadly, because I read slower than most I think this is why I picked up on a lot of not so great parts ... the story did not flow well for me and I was often confused and had to reread whole sections!
I feel badly that it took so long to read, I wanted to love it ... i found it lacking and confusing!
This is the authors second book and she shows a lot creativity and imagination.
Despite not fully loving this book, I found I was looking forward to finding out what happened next (the end really was pretty great)
This book could be wonderful, but it needs more. The story needs more background the world needs to be defined more. The time lines to be sorted out. If you are in a purple shirt at the start of a day and never do anything that would result in the need of a new shirt and changing is never mentioned, then how did you end up in a white shirt?
