About the author

Sujatha was the allonym of the Tamil author S. Rangarajan, Author of over 100 novels, 250 short stories, ten books on science, ten stage plays, and a slim volume of poems. He was one of the most popular authors in Tamil literature, and a regular contributor to topical columns in Tamil periodicals such as Ananda Vikatan, Kumudam and Kalki. He had a wide readership, and served for a brief period as the editor of Kumudam, and has also written screenplays and dialogues for several Tamil movies.

As an engineer, he supervised the design and production of the electronic voting machine (EVM) during his tenure at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a machine which is currently used in elections throughout India. As an author he inspired many authors, including Balakumaran, Madhan.

After long time reading collection of sujatha sir short stories. As always it was a page turner and all the short stories were good. It has the sujatha sir touch of ending the story with a twist.

Science fiction stories were unique and it is dealt in typical sujatha sir style. No matter how many ever u read, sujatha according to me seems to the king of commercial short story writing. It is the simplicity with which he deals even complex plots makes him a great writer.

Must read for sujatha fans ... A very good read for others as well. Go for it

ஒன்பது சிறுகதைகள்,இரண்டு நாடகங்கள்+ஒரு குறுநாவல் இது தான் அனுமதி. சிறுகதைகளில் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பெண்கள்,Cyborgs,துரோகம் செய்யும் கணவன்/மனைவி/Cyborg....என சுஜாதாவின் 'வழமையான' கதைமாந்தர்கள் வந்து போகின்றனர்.சிறுகதைகளில் அனுமதி,தாகம்,மஹாபலி ஆகியவை எனக்குப் பிடித்திருந்தன.குறுநாவலில் கணேஷ்-வசந்த் பெயரைக் கண்டவுடன் ஒரு உற்சாகம்.குற்றவாளியை இலகுவாய் ஊகிக்க முடிந்தாலும் சுவாரசியத்துக்கு பஞ்சமிருக்கவில்லை

9 சிறுகதைகள் , 2 நாடகங்கள் , 1 கணேஷ் வசந்த் குறுநாவல். ஆங்கங்கே சுஜாதா நடை தென்பட்டாலும் பெரிய அளவில் என்னை ஈர்க்கவில்லை. கணேஷ் வசந்த் குறுநாவல் மட்டுமே சற்று விறுவிறுப்பாக இருந்தது. மற்றவை அனைத்தும் ஓகே ரகம். வாசிக்க ஏதும் இல்லையெனும் பட்சத்தில் வாசிக்கலாம்
