Rate this book
Down-on-her-luck nanny Emilie Foley applies for the job of bride to one of the richest bachelors in Kentucky, but she discovers Cade Curtis needs a nanny, and the last thing he wants is a wife.

Wedding bliss is in the air for twenty-nine year old Emilie Foley. One of her younger sisters just got married, the other just got engaged, and with the big 3-0 only six months away, Emilie is more than ready to tie the knot. When she loses her job and discovers her boyfriend of seven years has been transferred to Georgia, Emilie takes matters into her own hands and proposes. Rejected, she comes up with another plan.
Thirty-six year old single father Cade Curtis owns a horse farm and, due to the prodding of his family, stars on the reality show, Bluegrass Horse Breeders. Though he loves his family, he’s become a distant workaholic since his wife’s death and the media attention from the show.
Though Emilie shows up on Cade’s doorstep to interview to become his bride, Cade discovers she’s more than qualified for job opening he’s willing to fill...he needs a nanny. When the show’s producer presses Cade to find a love interest, Emilie agrees to be a “potential” girlfriend. Attraction ignites as does the unwanted media coverage. Will Cade and Emilie trust God with their reputations…and their hearts?

Help Wanted: Bluegrass Bride

Jennifer Collins Johnson did a great job writing this sweet romantic inspirational story that is endearing and heartwarming. I've never read anything by this author before, but will definitely look forward to reading other books by her. I found the character, Emilie to be too cute. She knows how to be a great nanny, but couldn't figure out how to love or be loved by a man. Although the likelihood of anyone having a life like Emilie would be rare, the underlying truth was put forth that through it all...jobs, family, relationships...keeping a good testimony before others is most important. I was gifted this book by the author in exchange for my honest review and definitely recommend!

"Help Wanted: A Bluegrass Bride" by Jennifer Collins Johnson is such a good book. Emilie and Cade have a connection from the start but she is there to do a job and doesn't want to ruin her chances of keeping it by letting him see how she feels. He is the only member of a reality TV family who truly has faith in God. Emilie is proud that God is her number one. I highly recommend this book. It has humor, romance, faith and is delightful. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! A romantic inspirational story that is a sweet read, endearing, and heartwarming, involving morals, standards, honesty and love. Although she knew how to be a good nanny, Emilie finds more than a job. She finds family and love even when she didn't know how to be loved or how to accept the love of a man. I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review. I highly recommend this book and author. I am excited to read more from this author.

Help Wanted:Bluegrass Bride was a fun Christian romance .
I felt for Emilie having to deal with her family and the media plus the attraction with Cade while at the same time keeping her faith.
I loved all the characters especially the antics of the children.
I look forward to reading more by this author.

I had the honor to review this book for the author. Cade and Amelia's story is amazing. When she starte working for Cade and his kids their lives completely change. Watching the kids try to scare her off and failing miserably will have you smiling. You won't be able to stop reading this book once you start it. God is truly working in this book.

Contemporary short story with a comedy of errors that happen. Firstly she loses her job, asks her 7 year boyfriend to marry her gets rejected because he isn't sure. Goes home eats icecream out of a tub n watches reality tv where women are asked to drop by with their resume to apply as a wife to a horse vet. She reacts by updating her resume n joined a cue of cars. It's a quick romantic read. How people judge n gossip can harm (media fed)but how does one who is innocent prove otherwise.
