I usually don't buy shorter stories but for the boxed set and the cheap price I thought why not, I do love shifters. This is the first books I've read from this author.
The first story was sweet and the H delicious. The h took the being a bear thing well, bit too well I thought, could have been a bit more but still fast cute story.
I didn't mind the second story, Sebastian was kind of grumpy/stern but still had a yum factor. Really like the h as she was fun and out there.
The third story I liked the least as I thought Scott was a bit arrogant. It had an interesting story line with a stalker but I felt that side was underdeveloped with no real danger and Scott dealt with it but we didn't really know the outcome, bit disappointing..
Sam's story was a nice touch to round out the series and it was good that he got his HEA. Even though the story was simplistic, the mother had amnesia, so it was a bit predictable it still finished it off nicely.
Overall I liked the authors writing style, may check out what else the author has to offer but I do prefer a much longer and detailed story so hopefully she writes them.

So so.

I thought the first story was cute.. Maybe a tad bit simplistic but kinda sweet.
The second was not my cup of tea. Sebastian was a hard headed idiot.
The third story could have been better. For having a stalker there was no real danger or drama. And no written solution. Just an abbreviated retelling of events.
The Last story about the parents was pretty good. I really enjoyed finding out about the missing mom. Sam needed a break.

Great series

The whole concept of a father picking mates for his sons should be all wrong. But, in this case it seems all right. Dad's story is a perfect ending to the series.

WARNING! Extremely FURTASTIC Polar Heat!!! 5 GOLD PAWS

These were the first polar bear shifter books I had ever read, so between that and Terry’s phenomenal talent, well let’s just say that she has set the bar BEARY high for anyone else’s polar bear shifters that I may discover! I don’t know how to explain just how FURLICIOUS & BEARTASTIC these books are, but to have them all in one handy dandy box set?!? SHIFTASTIC!!!! Be prepared to be PAWMAZED! Be prepared to be HOWLED over! Be prepared for….oh FUR the love of it all….just read the books! They are BEARY FURRIFIC & OH-SO-BEARY PAWFECT!! Read on to see what I had to say about each book:

Bear-ever Yours – Rock her world? He was going to explode it! 5 stars

GGGRRRREAT story!!! Sorry! I just couldn’t help myself! The growl just had to come out! Polar Bears! YUP! POLAR BEARS!!! WHOOT! This was such an amazing story! I liked that even though it is a shorter story (roughly about 80 pgs or so) it did NOT lack for anything. That being said, I always like my books to be longer! I HATE saying good-bye to my new book friends…even if it is a “just for now” good bye. I was very impressed with the storyline, how things progressed and of course the ending! I love Terry’s take on polar bears, the unique traits they have, I love the humor, the sexiness, the…well EVERYTHING! I don’t want to give spoilers away, so I will leave it all at that! So many beautiful & magical moments that it was hard for ME to remember the short timeframe that it all takes place in, let alone poor Leah who is swept right up into the perfectly written romantic story! My only comment (it isn’t really a complaint) is that there were a couple of questions left unanswered, but I am hoping that Terry has plans to write more books and turn this one into a series. So until I hear differently, I will hope that this is the case and that my questions will be answered soon enough! (Maybe Terry could make this the first book of a Sky & Leah series or a family series that has a second book for each brother that updates us on them and answers my questions!) I can hope & dream right? Can you tell that I loved this book? I am trying to convince Terry to write MORE for me to also read!!! I recently discovered Terry & her Polar Bears and while I am so ecstatic that I did find her, I am glad I did so now. That means I have a LOT of books to read & catch up on while waiting for the new ones to come! :) So pardon me for cutting this short! I have some polar bears to love!

Some Bear to Love – He wanted her to remember him with every step she took. 5 stars

Oh how I loved this story! I was impressed that even though it is a shorter story (roughly about 95 pgs or so) it did NOT lack for anything. Kim is such an amazing girl, so full of self-confidence and always ready for the next adventure. Then there is Sebastien! He is the middle brother of the Weston bears and he is all full of seriousness with a scowl always close by. Of course, he is not in the market for a mate, but fate (& his father) have other plans for him! Right away you can just tell how funny, sexy & full of romance this book is going to be and you will not be disappointed! I burst out laughing a few times with all of the hilarious moments and naughty one liners like “So, captain, you gonna let me hoist your mainsail later”. There isn’t a lot of “shifting” but the bear is always there, as part of the story. This is the second time that I have had the pleasure of reading Terry's books. I absolutely loved Bear-ever Yours, and this is the perfect story to follow it! I know that the books in this series are each labeled as a standalone because of the way that they end…but I think that by reading them in order you get the most out of ALL of the stories! I love Terry’s take on polar bears, the unique traits they have, I love the humor, the sexiness, the…well EVERYTHING! I love the different...WHOA!! Almost gave a spoiler there! As I already mentioned this is the second book of Terry's that I have read, but I can guarantee that it will NOT be the last!! I love how creative and unique Terry's polar bears are! In fact, when I first heard of Terry, all I had seen was the cover of Bear-ever Yours with a polar bear on it, then the word 'shifter' and I knew that I just had to have this book in my library!! I guess you could say 'you had me at polar bear'! In fact I actually have bought all of her books so I am rather impatiently chomping at the bit to get to reading them! All in all, Terry & her polar bears are more than well worth the read and I can’t wait for the next one! Awesome story, great adventure, humor, hotness, romance and everything else you could ask for in a book!

One in a Bear-llion – But what am I supposed to do when my father chews me out for breaking your heart? 5 stars

“Who says I won’t break your heart?” WOW!! Who knew bears could be so naughty & good at the same time!?! POLAR BEARS!!! Whoot! Okay, I know it's corny, but...you had me at 'polar bear'! Terry sure knows how to attract, grab & keep your attention!! This is such a great romance filled story! I really enjoyed the three stories in this series and I would have liked a little more of the 'bear' parts, but I enjoyed the 'inside' bears immensely! This book is about Scott, the oldest of those Weston boys and Mara, who is the gal that Sam has decided would be a perfect mate for Scott. Too bad that they both have other ideas! Scott is the workaholic manager - “You can’t always use work to get away from your feelings.” - who hardly even steps outside of the Weston’s family Hotel Resort that he runs even though they are in the Caymans! Mara has her own issues that she is trying to deal with back home but when there isn’t anyone to help her with them, she eagerly accepts the free trip to the Caribbean with hopes that everything will settle without her being around. Neither of them are looking for anything permanent, nor are they wanting a mate. Too bad that they have no idea what fate has in store for them until it intervenes. “Her bear wasn’t disturbed by it, but her inner human was confused.” (I just love that line!) Let’s just say that the outcome is equal parts heartbreak, hilarity and romance all at the same time! Of course, you would have to read the story to understand my comments, because I am trying to say things without giving away any spoilers!! I cannot wait to read all of Terry's other books, especially if this is a great representation of her work! She is one very talented & gifted author that is able to catch your attention right from the beginning, heck even from those amazing covers!!! My attention was fully focused on the story from start to finish, I couldn't put it down until I knew what was going to happen! I thought that how Terry dealt with some of the situations by NOT dealing with them was pure genius! The focus is fully on the two bear shifters and that is it! Yes other stuff does happen, life moves forward, time goes on, yadda yadda yadda, *snicker* but the story is all about two people hopefully becoming one. Don’t be misled by the fact that this is a shorter story of about 83 pgs or so because you would be missing out on some great stories that pack a helluva wallop! There is so much story and nothing is added in “to fill pages” like it doesn’t have a true purpose. Terry is one very talented author! I have now read the three books in this series and even though the initial situations are quite similar, and the outcome might be the same, the path that is taken to get from 'me' to 'us' is so very different! To me, that is one of the many points that are a perfect example of just how gifted Terry truly is! In fact as soon as I saw the cover of Bear-ever Yours with a polar bear on it, and then found the word 'shifter' in the description, well I just knew that I had to read it! I have never read a polar bear shifter book before so I was eager to read these ones and boy oh boy am I ever glad I did!! I love the creativeness, the unique features they all have. Most importantly, I love that each story is its own story! I thoroughly enjoyed it and totally loved the epilogue! I love to catch up 'old' friends, it helps bring a series all together full circle...almost! With all of the little hints that Terry gave us in the first two books, and then the outright teasing in this book...well all I can say is that Terry had better be planning at least one more - longer- book to get ALL of Sam's story! Past, present and future! So to sum things up – Terry has written an amazing set of polar bear shifter books that I can only hope she will continue to add to this series because they are funny, hot, sexy, romantic, adventure & pretty much anything you could ever want in a great story! You gotta read this!

Remem-bear Me – Terry has broken the polar bear mold with this one!! 5 PAWS errr STARS

It was like coming back to your heart. She was still his. She had to be. This is such an amazing story!! It is a polar bear fairy tail! snicker I was so excited to read this one! When I was reading the first three books in this series - one for each of Sam's sons - I always felt like something was 'missing' or left-out when it came to Sam & his mate's story, but even I could never have predicted this story and how it plays out! I was truly hoping that there was some kind of reason - a great one at that - as to why Jo had taken off, and stayed away, and even though I had some theories, I didn't think on it too hard as I didn't realize that Terry was going to do their story. BUT SHE DID!!! And what a story it is! Let me just say this - I did not predict anything close to what happened nor how it ended! *sigh* isn't that the best kind of stories though? I am trying hard to not give anything aware & ruin their story, but I am sure I can say this much - I loved when they went out on his yacht ...hmmm, I guess that would say too much! I adored the updates on the boys & their mates! Oh! I can say that I laughed out loud with how Jo's memory starts to 'come back' for lack of a better word. Read it! You will see and hopefully love it as much as I do! As with any other of Terry's books I have read so far, this one will stay in my 'books to read over & over'. When I reviewed One in a Bear-llion I said this: "With all of the little hints that Terry gave us in the first two books, and then the outright teasing in this book...well all I can say is that Terry had better be planning at least one more - longer- book to get ALL of Sam's story! Past, present and future!" There is not one word I would change and I am ecstatic that Sam's story did in fact get told!! Now I hope that Terry has plans to do at the very least one more story in this series, possibly set in the future - if near future, how the mates are all doing, how many kids they have, etc. or if further in the future, maybe on Sam's grandcubs with possibly Sam helping them to find their own mates! Wouldn't that be pawsome?? You are correct! I love this series way too much to say good-bye to them! Terry is one very talented & gifted author that is able to catch your attention right from the beginning, heck even from those amazing covers!!! My attention was fully focused on the story from start to finish, I couldn't put it down until I knew what was going to happen! I loved that this story was "different" than the first 3 books. In those ones, Sam sets up his 3 sons with their mates while in this one, the boys try to do the same for him. The problem? He already has a mate! So this one is focused on finding out why they are not together and haven't been for 20 years and how to confront their past to try to have a future together. To me, that is one of the many points that are a perfect example of just how gifted Terry truly is!

Four stories about a family of polar bear shifters living on an island in the Caribbean.
Sam has three sons who seem to be in no hurry to find love and mates. So he invites three women bear shifters to the island in the guise of winning a contest. There is a woman for each son, only things are never that simple.
Bear-ever Yours. Sky and Leah get together in the first story. They have the easiest time getting together as Sky is the youngest with the least baggage.
Some Bear To Love. Sebastien and Kim each have what they believe are good reasons for staying apart. In spite of their best efforts they fall in love and even though it looks like Sebastien won’t figure things out in time there’s is a happy ending.
One in Bear-illion. Scott is the oldest. He has the best memory of his mom leaving and the aftermath. He is serious and tends to business. It nearly costs him love with artistic Mara.
All three brothers find their loves and the books end with their mates pregnant. But what about Sam and what did happen to his wife and their mom?
Remember-Bear Me. Joanne comes to the island after seeing a commercial with Sam in it. Joanne has amnesia and spent five years in a coma. Sam recognizes her right away and he is familiar to Joanne. The story of how they all become a family again made me cry. So sweet.
Content warning: sex is a common presence in each story.

I thought I would give it a go but I couldn't get past the first book in the box set. This review is based on the first book so forgive me if the others are better...
I really don't think there is enough of a story/plot to even bother writing this story. The characters behave and respond to each other in unrealistic ways (like shifting in front of her and she screams and then calms down and is like 'cool I guess i'm a bear'... What?!) and the attempts to make the main female character be strong and handle her situation was really weak. If you want to write about women that are looking for a guy that will be 'in control' 'possessive' and settle down and have kids, then write about them but halfheartedly adding in dialog to make them appear 'feminist' is ridiculous! I don't know why I bother to read these books anyway as 80 percent them are like this, the whole 'shifter' bit is really just to introduce the sex quicker..

Polar Bear Matchmaker

This was a fun box set. A father desparate for his sons to be happy, and three men not at all interested in falling in love. Can a matchmaking dad, whose mate has left him, find three beautiful bears for his boys? Leah, Kim & Mara have been brought to the Cayman Islands, under the assumption they won a vacation. Sky, Sebastien & Scott have moved on with their lives, not looking for mates. The trauma of watching their father fall apart after his mate left is just too much. Finally, Sam(dad) can hardly believe who just knocked at his door. The mate who left him twenty years ago! However, she doesnt remember him or anything about her life before the gunshot to her head, twenty years ago! Check out this box set, nothing really explicit, but just enough steam to get you excited!

Polar Heat Boxed Set Great Reading!

This set is about father who has decided to find mates for his three sons. Each book in the set is a different son and his journey to find his mate. Terry Bolryder has the ability as a writer to get the reader totally involved in her stories. Her shifter stories are well developed and extremely detailed and a reader falls in love with the characters from page one. As each son fights the thought of finding his mate the interaction between the boys and their father and their soon to be mates is so compelling that you can't put the books down. You should really give anyone of Bolryder's books a try. You will definitely not be disappointed. Having a complete series in one set is great.

Polar Heat Boxed Set

Sam Weston was a Polar bear shifter. His mate had left him after a row 20 yrs before, he tried but could never find a trace of her. So he moved with his 3 sons to the Cayman Islands Where he now owned a high end hotel/resort, which he ran with his sons. Scott the eldest helped him run the business, Sebastian captained a yacht running trips,, while his youngest Sky taught scuba diving. All were badly affected by the loss of their mother, and weren't interested in settling down. So he brought 3 women out, they had "won" 2 wks at his resort and he teamed each with one of his boys, he wanted them happily mated, he wanted grand babies. Terry Bolryder writes an excellent book as usual

DNF.... Same old same old.

I will be completely honest, I didn't even get past the first few pages. And this was after it sat in my library for over a month.

I've noticed there is a definite pattern to TB's characters and after a while it gets old when you have the same type book after book- f: short, curvy, far skin, and curly hair. She doesn't know she's beautiful, and she either struggling financially or personally. M: tall, muscular, Adonis. It's like there is a template she follows and it leaves little room for diversity in her story lines. And I've noticed this in all of her books regardless of what series it is.

I just wasn't interested in reading the same story over and over with minimal differences.

Polar bear shifters in Grand Cayman!

I never would have thought of that! These are all slightly shorter stories, but very interesting. Each one has a different situation to deal with. All of the men have been dealing with their mother, or mate, leaving them long ago. All the men have strong emotions from this, but their mates help them come to terms with it. I like how it is all resolved in the final story, making everything clear. The pace is fast, the tone is emotional, the storyline is character oriented with steamy scenes and vivid characters. I don't want to give anything away, so I will just leave it at that. If this sounds good to you, try this box set and enjoy!

KINDLE UNLIMITED purchase
By Terry Bolryder
First off have you ever read a book and like fell it in your soul.. fell in love with the characters that you became a part of the story... Well this series is just like that... I read the "sons" book and was mesmerized by them... But omg "Papa Bear"s book was over the top... I didn't know how I was going to feel about the father getting a mate... But TB came out of left field and I DID NOT see it coming... Great series don't pass it up...

Bear epic

The whole series was awesome and the setting in the tropics was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more in the description of the island and what occurred there and how life was lived there. Each story had something different to add while being it’s own story line. I couldn’t have asked for anything to be done perfectly more romantic than this series. Highly recommended.

Good read.

I am a fan of Terry, and have read all of her books. She has a talent in writing decent story lines. I have loved all of them, I was not not a fan of the paired dragon's books .. That was too kinky. Sometimes to me, I think the sex is too detailed bordering on soft porn, but I can let it slide as the story line is strong.
I am looking forward to the next set of books.

Enjoyable free read of four books in a boxset.

They were all more or less the same....three brothers, three women, A story for the father as well. Meet, argue a bit, couple of complications, sort them out, fall in love and have babies.

Predicable plots but for a lazy read in the sunshine with nothing better to do, these were perfect.

There is more to these books than i have said but if you love an almost predictable shifter love story, you will love these. Enjoyable read for sure!

All around great reads for Bear Shifter fans

So, I loved the first three books. All the men dealing with the same event in different ways and the women helping them get to better places. Loved it. But the last book...omg, just amazing. I loved it from start to finish and it made me happy to see an older couple falling in love again. So happy.

4 Stars for the Last Story in the Set

The last story in this set was, by far, my favorite. Very fresh and different from the others. Very satisfying. Gave a sweet ending to the series.

The other stories were okay. The female leads annoyed me, as well as the male leads, but their frustrating behavior was integral to the story.

The first book was the only one that had a real grab a hold storyline. The other books seemed rushed to me, but all in all they still were good stories. I just wish there was more depth to them like the first book of the series or even the werewolf shifter books.
