New characters introduced, and arguably more crazy slice-of-life humor than volume 1. But less diving related scenes than volume 1.
I am beginning to have concern with the drinking habit of two main characters. They really drink a lot of alcohol. I hope no reader seriously trying to copy the drinking habit. :P
While not AS funny as volume 1 I still really enjoyed this one.
Less on the outrageous humor this time around and more on actual diving. Which works well because the artist really gets to showcase their talent here. The underwater parts look FANTASTIC. There's some really cute moments and emotional bits here. Of course add some gross out humor, partial nudity (Mostly male) and you still get some great laughs. This time the boys are forced to dress like girls to enter a contest to win cash. But the girls also get to join in the fun. Also have some great diving first time moments that work really well.
Overall another really solid, funny volume, that is becoming one of my favorite series ever. I already bought up a few more volumes.
Well, we (and Iori) finally saw underwater. One of the most disappointing things about these books so far has been the lack of actual diving, and we finally got some in this volume. Well, from what I read of this volume at least. Obviously I couldn’t be bothered to finish it.
I literally just didn’t care about anything that was going on. There was some sort of festival that I didn’t care about, and Iori and Kouhei were distraught that they’d have to cross-dress in it which I also didn’t care about. I really wanted to finish this volume, but when I looked at what was ahead of me I really, truly, could not be bothered.
From what I read I’d rate it 2/5 stars, but because I didn’t finish the volume as a whole I don’t think it’s fair for me to rate it, so I won’t.
I still hold that I feel like this series is just not for me, and that you very well might enjoy it a lot more than I did.
When I finish this series, I’ll go over it again snapping pics of all the hilarious facial expressions. I’ll keep those in an album designed to cheer me up like volume 2 did yesterday as I was anxiously waiting for my Covid test results.
Gave this a second chance and ended up forcing myself to finish it, it's not bad per se just not for me. A lot of Mangatubers have been raving about how funny this series is and how it's one of the best comedies out there. Honestly I don't get it, I didn't laugh once. There is this kind of outlandish humor in a lot of manga but this doesn't quite have that. Instead most of the jokes are about just suddenly stripping off their clothes and getting drunk, repeatedly.
Give the right situation stripping off randomly can be funny, like Gray from Fairy Tail but this just does it every few pages with the same people. There is no reactions or in public it's all behind closed doors. Same can be said with the drunks, they just don't do anything.
There was a nice bit where the guys helped out a girl but that was the only thing I liked, the characters all seem pretty stagnant and so far the story is pretty directionless.
Hilarious. I’m glad the creators decided to turn a couple of jokes from Vol 1 into running gags (such as the Oolong Tea x Alcohol “mixups”).
I was also impressed by how some of the more outlandish jokes and absurd situations from the first volume actually somewhat impacted the story. I initially assumed those moments would be isolated, episodic bits with no real consequences. The continuity makes everything a bit funnier whilst also strengthening the relationships between characters/events.
Overall, this volume has given me high hopes for the rest of the series.
Iori crashing the pagent was hilarious. I do like how there are moments like that, where he helps someone and shows he's more than just a goof, or uses that goofiness to help. The scene with him learning to dive was pretty cool as well. Overall, this is a fun comedy at times and others its just a tad over the top.
Shenanigans ensue as Iori and Kohei are “encouraged” by their senpai to enter a Men’s beauty contest to raise money for the diving club. They ain’t having it though so they rest their hopes on Chisa.
Another great volume, while I didn’t laugh as much in this one as I did volume 1 it still hit pretty good. I like the new character introduced, Azusa and like in volume 1 there are some wholesome moments to balance out the debauchery.
This volume was not as funny as the first. It did have some good moments and connected to characters a bit more. We get to learn more about diving in this volume and the narrative feels more focused. With all these positives, it was just a bit jarring when coming after the absolutely hilarious first volume. I may be higher on it after volume 3 if this narrative approach continues.
Oh yeah this improved over the first, very funny. I think the anime might be better cause it’s a bunch of visual jokes that would be in motion but the manga is good. We got some new characters, Azusa is the best character. Cake-chan’s story was nice at the end and sweet. The moments where they’re trying to be nice and thoughtful are actually really good.

That was also fun, and very horny. The story is missing deeper characterisations and some sort of direction or higher purpose to its existence, but I am rather enjoying the journey so far.
A i moje serce należy do tapeciary, I love Her.
Grand blue dreaming, in this manga everyone is naked but turns out that besides ridiculous conversations and having no responsibilities besides just drinking partying and being hot and living a college life with beautiful girls, they have to learn and keep up with life. Love si trying to be found between them. And Chisa is the best, she shows up in a pageant and she wins because she was lovely. She has a personality that everygirl likes, smart and has man on the hand. She likes kotenawa-san because she likes teaching so it’s a breath to see that no everything is rejection, that maybe you push yourself too much and that actually people loves u.
