This book was more interesting than some others in the series. I would have liked to read more about Kara's relationship with her parents, how she was close to hear dad but not her mom. It's a familiar place for me, and I've never read a book that really touches on this particular family dynamic.

The book was like the others in the series, in that it was not very realistic overall and moved to fast in places and too slow in others.

Normally I hate random books that I am given as a gift. But this is probably the best gift I have ever recieved from my Aunt and Uncle. The mystery, heartbreak, and battle to regain control of emotions amde this a great read when I got this book as teen, and still to this day. I only wish I could obtain the other copies of this series.
