Yet again... I am just hooked on Viola's writing style, no matter what she writes, all her books are 4s and higher!

IDK why this one was so short! It could've been an amazing serial, maybe not a long one like Running With Alphas, but it could've been as long as Bound to the Alpha. I want more!

Cute short! The story line was good, I just wished it wasn't rushed.

Lost in Winter-Viola Rivard 4 1/2 STARS
****This story can also be read in the anthology out now called Kiss of Christmas Magic****
Caitlin and her niece Sophia get stranded in the mountains on a back road, in the deadly cold of a winter night. In their fight to stay alive they team up with a stranger to trek through the woods with a Hot ,Yet Gruffly, Stoic bear shifter named Winter and his son. Secrets , Things lurking in the Darkness of the woods , and matters of the heart threaten to halt their little voyage to the unknown.
I love that Viola is venturing out of the werewolf shifter territory .Don't get me wrong I love her wolf stories , but she creates such rich characters that you crave to know their backstories.
Lost in Winter is filled to the rim with Action, heartwarming emotion, laughable moments and a beautifully written love scene.
I would love for Winter and Caitlin's story to continue , because I felt it was a bit rushed. Even though I loved this Adventure and we got an epilogue. I think there is a lot more to be told about this growing family , but I'll leave that all up to Viola.
Viola, I'm still holding out hope you will write a story about Fenix the Hawk shifter!!!

Caitlin and her niece Sophia are trying make a new start. Now they're stuck in the car in the middle of the mountains during winter. Caitlin is debating on calling help and go back home but Sophia sees a campfire through the trees. Caitlin is following her niece through the forest and they com upon a small cave. There's a cub sleeping next to the fire and Caitlin freeze and does not know what to do. When Sophia strata to pet the cub Caitlin follows and agrees the his fur is soft. Then a voice comes from behind them and it a big man and that's really she can tell cause he's in the shadows. She starts backing up and loses her balance and hits her head. When she awake she meets Winter and finds out that he and his son are bear shifters. Instead of going back home she decides to follow Winter and his son Cole to their home.

Wonderful Short!
I was gifted this book by the Author Viola Rivard for an honest review.
What a lovely and endearing short story.
Caitlin never imagined that by trying to save her niece from an abusive home, she would fall into the arms of a shifter.
Winter a bear shifter had given up on ever having a mother for his cub and in falls Caitlin and Sofia, right into his cave. Can he convince her to mate with him and be a mother to his cub Cole?
What a wonderful short story for the holidays.

This was a book about a woman Caitlin on the run with her young abused niece Sophia. Her car breaks down in the winter with lots of snow, but they see a fire in the distance and head for it. There they see Cole a young boy and then his father Winter a bear shifter. Cole and Sophia hit it off immediately . Caitlin decides to stay with Winter after finding out her car is not easily fixable.
This was a cute shifter story that has adventure, some action and love.

What an amazing short story!!!!
There hasn't been yet a book of Viola's that i didn't like
and this one doesn't dissapoint at all.
So loved Winter and Cole and Cait and Sophie!!!

This is a wonderful short story that shows you family is what you make of it. Such a heartwarming story that brings two families together and earned their HEA.

This book was really enjoyable. Had a lot more to it than a lot of books I have read. Short and sweet but a story that catches your attention straight away. Caitlin has car trouble and her niece is cold and sees a fire in the distance. What they find just might be the answers to their prayers.

So people know shifters exist. I appreciated what Cait was doing for her niece, however it was spontaneous which wasn't that smart. Kept me entertained.

I'm on the fence with this one. Some bits I liked and other bits just didn't sit right with me.

Pretty good for a short story. It was a fully flushed out story even as a novella.
