Flora Dare lives in Durham, NC in a cute little pink house, with her husband, Scott and their hellion of a puppy, HaliToeses. She writes love, lust and mayhem in almost every flavor, and like The Pirate Movie, she wants a happy ending, every time!
I received an ARC of 'Alpha Alien: Chosen' from Flora Dare, in exchange for my honest review.
I was quickly drawn into this last installment of Flora's "Alpha Alien" serial, losing myself within the story.... & what a final installment it was! I highly recommend you read "Alpha Alien" in order, from the start, you wouldn't want to miss anything. I really loved the intense read that 'Chosen' ended up being, but I would love to know if they find Thea, also I want more of Meli's mums story.
This is the last installment of the serial, so we'll learn what will become of Tlavi and Meli. They're now being rescued after their spaceship crashes (and after some sexy times) and Meli is whisked away and being told she's going back to Earth and is handed a big bundle of cash for her troubles. Yes, it seems like payment for services rendered, if you know what I mean. But, it's played off to be a way to help her since she's probably lost her job, yada yada yada. She doesn't even get to tell Tlavi good-bye. They don't exchange phone numbers or set up their next date...nothing. Well, that doesn't seem right.
Meli is now back on Earth and a month has passed. She's also feeling sick. While she's talking to her Mom, to whom she tells her the true story, Meli realizes she's late, for a very important date. She's having a half lizard baby. But maybe this baby (ha, I rhymed.) isn't only half lizard. Seems Meli's Mom has been keeping secrets and Meli's Dad was out of this world. He also apparently decided he didn't want to be mated to a human or have a half human baby. Or did he?
Tlavi can't take the separation anymore and goes back for Meli. But Meli's Mom is a little protective and tries to stop him. So, Tlavi takes both of them. Tlavi tells her he let her go because he thought it was the best thing for her, but Meli isn't having that. How dare he make decisions for them without discussing it first. Of course, Meli purposely uses a plural form and drops the "you're going to be a Daddy" bomb on Tlavi. No way he's letting her go now. Good thing they truly care about each other.
Now what about Meli's Mom. Well, you just never know who you'll run into on a spaceship. Seems Daddy dearest is there (he's the one who gave Meli that wad of cash, not knowing who she actually is) and he was told his mate had died. Meli pieces it together that he's her Dad based upon the story he told her before taking her home and her talk with her Mom. Her parents never stopped Loving each other though. Oh, happy day. Man, do they have a lot of time to make up for her. If the spaceship is a rockin'...LOL

I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST REVIEW AND THIS IS MY HONEST OPINION .... OVER 18 READING ONE GREAT STORY AND I REALLY HOPE THERE ARE MORE LIKE IT TO COME !!!!!! In this story Tlavi and Meli and rescued from the planet they crashed on. She never even got to see the planet they crashed on, the rescue team attached a tube from one ship to the other, as they came it everyone rushed to Tlavi, not even payed any attention that she was their. Then a man separated from the rest and came to her saying, "I am Yastlama, I will make sure you are comfortable on the ship." and he leads her to the new ship.He tells her he will take her home . One day she saw her clothes not the beautiful gown and knew she was home. He explained know one knew about anything where she was concerned , gave her money and let then let her out right where she was picked up from.At her mothers , she doesn't tell her, till three weeks later ,one night she had to .To her surprise she found out mommy had a secret too, a big one. When they come to and have to talk to Tlavi and Yastlama their are many secrets to let out everyone has them and each secret involves the others. And you will not believe the outcome . And I hope there is more to their story, I can think of lots of connecting story lines.
I've really enjoyed this series, but I felt this last installment wasn't as good as the rest. It was choppy and felt rushed; I wish there'd been a little more to it. It was a little predictable, which didn't bother me, but I know is an issue for some people. Overall, this is a really good series. It definitely gives you the warm fuzzies in the end. I did enjoy how it ended, and I'm definitely hoping we get to read Thea's story.
Great Shorty! This is a great short story; this is part three of the Alpha Alien series by Flora Dare. This is the last installment of this series. It is best to read these books in order so you don’t miss anything. This book is a short romance with suspense. If you are looking for a great short series then you need to read this series. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
Ughhh need 4. A cute short about a girl named Meli and her alien lizard lover Tlavi. Being sent back to earth should feel good for her but it doesn't. A big chunk of her heart is back in space with her dumb lizard lover Tlavi. She wishes he really would come back. Well in the mean time her mom open up and tells her things about her past and Tlavi just may have left a present....
Noooo!! I wasn't ready for it to be over especially since it was starting to get so juicy. I wanted to find out more information about Meli mom and Yastlama. Overall still a good read I'll be anxiously waiting for the next book looking forward to seeing what happened to Thea.
Given to me for an honest review. Must read the first 2 stories before this one. I was disappointed with this part of the serial. I wanted more substance, but it still managed to have secrets that I didn't guess. Meli and Tlavi are rescued and that is all I'm going to say.
This was a great ending for this book, it was perfect. It was a great way to end the series can't wait to read more from this author. * I received this book for an honest review*
