A perfect weekend read! Kelly heads to the island of Atua to care for her niece, Cali, and try to locate her missing sister. During her last call, Kelly's sister said that she wanted to take her daughter and bring her back to the states, but she wasn't allowed to leave the island. Sparks fly when she meets Sinclair, owner of the island and Cali's guardian, but can he be trusted? Is he responsible for her sister's disappearance?

This was a great book that kept me hooked until the very end. Romantic suspense is my favorite genre, but I'm picky and feel that books need to have a good mix romance, mystery, and suspense. This book was had the perfect combination! The character development was great, and I found that I liked Kelly even more as the story progressed. The writing was perfect, and it felt like I was on the gorgeous island along with them!

This was a fantastic story, and I can't wait for Riley's next book!

Well-paced and easy to read, Deadly Undercurrents covers my three favorite elements: suspense, romance, and mystery. Riley writes beautiful descriptions that enable the reader to visualize the island as if you’re there in person. An enjoyable read.
