Heartwarming
I wasn't sure I was going to like this book at the start, because the heroine was married and lusting after another man= not my thing- but since her husband was a grade A asshat I found I could accept it. The love story was heartwarming.. Titan was an amazing man,a true hero,and the suspense was well written.
As with all Sable"s books the sex was hotter than a firecracker, but exceedingly sweet at the same time.
Great read, awesome characters, can't wait for more!

Sable Hunter always has a way of pulling me in from the very first page, and this little book was no exception. Titan has loved Makenna, from the first moment he saw her, but because she is the wife of the Captain of the volunteer fire department, he has never acted on it. Makenna, a sweet soul that has not had a happy life. She suffered a horrific tragedy in her childhood, only to get married to a sorry excuse for a man, and suffer unmentionable things in her adulthood. When Titan finds out what is happening to Makenna, he will move every obstacle in his path, to assure her safety and protect her. There was more than one time that I would have yanked Damien, the Captain, thorough my kindle, if I could have, and beat the crap out of him. This is a must read, in true Sable fashion, it will make you laugh, cry, and keep you on the edge of your seat as to what will happen next. Cannot wait to read about the rest of the guys in this book, and hopefully get another glimpse of Titan and Makenna. I fell in love with Freight Train, Houdini and Cola, yeah, you will have to read it to find out what I am talking about. A well deserved five stars!!!

'Texas Wildfire' (Texas Heroes Book One) by Sable Hunter is an excellent read. This story is an awesome start to a new series. I loved reading about Titan and Makenna. This story is packed full of passion, heat, romance, action, drama, smoking hot cowboys and firefighters. Wow! Sable Hunter has written another great story. I can not wait to see what happens next in book two 'Texas C.H.A.O.S.' coming soon!

what a wobderful book. I would give it 6 stars if I could. You will fall in love with Makenna and Titan. And love the wonderfully told story. About true Hero's!! The Volunteer Firefighters. And about a truly strong women that has lived with sever abuse. I highly recommend this book !!!!!!

A sweet cowboy, firefighter romance. It was easy to read and the storyline was engaging. I felt the characters were a little underdeveloped, I would of liked more of an introduction. Certainly worth a read.
Titan Sloan is a rancher who is all kinds of hot, a charming gentleman who is all about his community. He was a bodybuilder, now he’s a volunteer firefighter and he has a tender heart. Every time he sees the chiefs wife he begins day dreaming and fantasising about her. Damien Wade doesn’t appear to treat her real well, he often leaves her side and talks to other women. Titan takes some further interest in her he knows he shouldn’t but something isn’t sitting right.
Makenna cant keep herself from thinking about Titan, he sure is mighty fine eye candy. He’s so big, strong and has many friends amongst the firefighters. Needing something good in her life she continues to let him into her thoughts. Ever since one of Damien’s men won an award, questions about the fires are being asked. Would someone from this tight knit community be lighting them deliberately! The finger is being pointed, but the town gathers to give him their undivided support. It’s time to start gathering evidence.

My second time reading this story.Its a great read that covers an abusive husband and his wife returning to his home town ,as the new fire chief . Then the abuse is mostly at home and is hidden with this controlling man. The characters are developed as we go along.There is chemistry and sparks from day one with one hunky fireman . Intentional fires occur. People, the wife cares for, are in trouble , so the fires begin,starting fires with the same methods. Enjoy this ebook , and see how the plot thickens and what happens to the wife and the husband and her love of the decent and wonderful fireman , and what the townspeople think . Will she get justice?

This book was one that I really had a hard time getting into. But I gave it a lot of chances to make it up. Let's first talk about the characters. Makenna is the main female character. She was extremely strong in random parts of the books but yet she was extremely frail in others. A lot of her personality didn't fit those who have been abused as long as she has. So she just didn't fit the picture that I thought she should have. Titan was great but he seemed too perfect and did not have a lot of backstory that helped you see who he was. Though you do get to meet his family, but they are perfect millionaire. He just seemed to perfect.
The plot of this story had several slow parts that felt like you were trying to trudge though. But then it would pick up and you are like okay this isn't so bad. Book usually take me a day or two to get through but this book I had a hard time picking it up to finish. The smut is pretty clean compare to other books that have I read. Nothing that will make you pretty excited to read just same old things. Don't get me wrong it's a decent book and worth a check.

Titan Sloan is has it all, he's an ex body builder now turned Fire fighter that is a hero in everyone's eye's. He built, tall, rugged and handsome and turns the heads of all the local Women, he's a great guy. The only thing missing in his life is someone to love... Makenna is married to a monster, that has all the town's people believing he's a hero, they totally worship him, not knowing what really goes on behind closed doors. I really enjoyed this story as lies, manipulation and corruption is slowly uncovered, while two hearts finally connect and a romance between Titan and Makenna forms.

Another sexy hero from my one-click Sable Hunter. Texas Wildfire has everything I've come to expect from Sable. A little suspense mixed with the romantic relationship between two amazing characters. The story flows easily keeping me reading without wanting to put it down.
I love how Sable keeps her female characters imperfect, a little flawed, insecure yet the men love them fiercely. The way Titan wants to protect Makenna gave me chills.

So hot i felt my fingers ignite! from the front cover. A sad novel mentioning the abuse of what one woman went though and survived. Also the love she craved during them years from her crush who is one hot guy! The plot was both heart breaking and warming, so one to read with a box of tissues and a bottle of wine... Just take the phone of the hook first, trust me you would not want any interruptions!

The two main characters have spent a lot of time yearning for each other, unaware their feelings are reciprocated. There are some references to abuse/ intimate partner violence, so it may be a trigger for some. Good story that hits all the right notes.

A lovely romantic story!
I didn't expect this book to be as hard hitting as it was at times. That's not a bad thing though, as it really highlighted some issues that people deal with in real life.

Start to another great series....
Firemen and Cowboys this series is going to be another great one. So glad Titan and Makenna got their happily ever after. It was touch and go there for a while. But I would recommend this book and this author.

Great love story
This story was a little bit mystery and mostly a love story. Poor McKenna had so much to overcome. Titan was a little too good to be true. Can't wait to read more in this series.

This was my first book by this author but it sure won't be my last. Loved the story, can be a little dark at times. You will love the "good" characters and really dislike, hate, the bad guy.
