I don't believe I have ever read a Tori Scott book that I haven't loved, and this one is no exception! Cade Carter is the oldest child in a family of six boys and one girl. By day (and a lot of nights) he is a large animal veterinarian. Some nights (and some days) he and his siblings perform in the group, Carter Country. Sarah McCutcheon has a blog teaching how to cook healthy meals on a low budget. She also has a pregnant cow in need of a veterinarian! This book has everything. Good looking men, animals giving birth and children to fall in love with! I highly recommend this book!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. However, I also purchased a copy!

WOW!!! What a beautiful story!! Cade is a veterinarian who tends large animals for his clinic. He had several partners who handle the other animals. He lost his wife after having his second son and he blamed himself and swore he would never have another child.
Sarah lived by herself and was lonely. What she want was a loving husband and kids. She took care of her animals and house, cooked a lot and wrote a blog so there wasn't much time for socializing. One night Cade gets a called from Sarah, who's Guernsey cow having problems with her labor. After delivering the bull he watches Sarah and the way she cared for the baby bull and promised to return to check on both of the animals.
Cade loses his house in a fire and he isn't sure what he wants to do until Sarah offers for him and his two sons to live with her. He agrees as long as she allows him to help around the house. They start to grow together but there are things that stand in their way of becoming a family.
This story had me laughing at times and wanting to cry at others. The characters are strong, dynamic!!! They support each other through out the book.
I can hardly wait for the next is the series!!!!!
MUST READ!!!!❤️

Loved it

Cade Carter is a veterinarian, widower, father of two, and in his family's band. He is a man with his hands full and no time to spare. Sarah is a nutritionist and food blogger living nearby. She and Cade become friends while he's treating her animals. Then when Cade's house burns down during a storm, Sarah offers Cade and his boys the use of the spare rooms at her home. Can friendship develop into something more or will living in close quarters ruin the relationship? You will have to read the book to find out.

Tori Scott's magic is back with her newest series, Carter Country starts with the book, Cade, a heart-melting small town feel with Texas sized romance! The struggle to overcome guilt and the destructive forces of nature provide a solid background to our discovery of an awesome group of people. I loved the novel Cade as well as the character Cade, and look forward to the rest of the books in the series with excitement! I appreciate that Ms. Scott leaves the details of their lovemaking to my imagination. What we see is enough to get my thoughts going as far as I want them to go.

I thoroughly enjoyed the start of this series. Why? Because it was a sweet, building love story that focused on the characters and their budding relationship instead of having gratuitous sex woven throughout. Ms. Scott is a consummate storyteller and left me wanting to read the rest of the series as it comes out. Cade and Sarah....a beautiful love story. Kudos!
