It was a long and very technical study, and I did not comprehend all of the subtleties of the work, but as it came to the end, I did begin to see the distinctions he was making, and I appreciate the conclusions he made. A very strong rebuttal to our current concept that conscience can be a guide to our future behavior. Let conscience be your guide is not a New Testament use of the word.
