A lot of valuable information packed into not very many pages and delivered in an extremely accessible way. Conway goes so far as to provide additional resources after answering each question in order to allow further study. Upon reading this book, part of me is impressed by Conway's ability to succinctly relay complex philosophical and theological concepts in a matter of sentences. Another part of me wishes that Conway had written a more comprehensive text as a companion to this one. While this book provides many great answers to initial questions, the page count limits Conway from addressing every issue that will come up.
As I perused these pages, I found myself particularly enjoying the additional sections at the end of every question. Providing a section on "Thoughts to Ponder", a memory verse, further questions to consider and the aforementioned links to the One-Minute Apologist Video's, Conway creates an atmosphere of contemplative dialogue. Generally speaking, Conway presents a conservative, evangelical perspective on the issues at hand. He doesn't really rock the boat, but he does not shy away from confronting secular ideology. This is particularly evident in his discussions on gender identity and sexuality.
While the title may lead you to believe that this is a text for non-Christians, the further your progress into it, the more you realize that is not the case. This book is unashamedly addressed to a Christian audience. I would not recommend this book for someone taking a look at the Christian faith. Rather, it seems best suited for the new believer to encounter basic dogma confronting tough (some more than other) questions. All in all, Conway has provided a great quick-reference text; biblically founded, philosophically astute, and extremely relevant. This ought to be a necessity on the shelves of new believers across the globe.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Bobby Conway is the host of a popular program titled "The One-Minute Apologist" where the motto is "providing credible answers to serious questions." This book was written to put into written form what Conway has already done through his weekly videos. To put it simply, this book is a Q&A book about God, Christianity, and the Bible.

Each chapter presents a question that is answered in short but succinct fashion, followed by a closing thought to ponder, a relevant Bible verse, a question to consider, and a link to a corresponding video from the One-Minute Apologist YouTube program. Conway draws from scripture to answer pertinent questions that could be beneficial for new believers, non-believers, and even mature Christians. The answers to the questions are theologically solid and Biblically sound. Questions range from theology and doctrine to current cultural and social issues like pornography, drugs, alcohol, voting, cults, homosexuality, and same-sex marriage. Each issue is dissected and the author explains how the Bible specifically addresses each issue.

This book presents 52 common questions that will help enrich your understanding of Christianity, so I think it would be good to read it as either a daily or perhaps weekly devotional. I would recommend it to all Christians, and to those who seek to learn more about God and the Bible. I received this as a free ARC from Harvest House Publishers on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I received this book from NetGalley. This book is for adults given some of the topics covered (sex, drugs, homosexuality, abortion, etc). The book attempts to quickly answer questions using the Bible, literature, science, logic, and philosophy. The questions are everyday questions that people have about God, religion, and heaven like: Does God exist, Is there sex in heaven, What's wrong with pornography, Is it okay to smoke marijuana, How should a Christian vote, Is the future hopeless for today's youth, If God is good why is there evil, etc. After the answer to each question there's a relevant Bible verse and thought provoking follow up question for further reflection or discussion. Conway is very down to earth and lays out compelling well reasoned arguments. This would be a good book for Bible study discussions or a gift for new Christians.

This is a good book for Christians or non-believers with questions about the Christian faith. The author poses a selection of questions that he has most frequently heard asked, and then goes on to answer them with Biblically backed answers. Like anything, these are truths that one should take the time to investigate for themselves and not just take the word of someone else. And Conway offers readers several verses to turn to in order to back up the answers he gives so that all the leg work is done for you, but you can still dive deeper on your own.

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for giving me this review opportunity.

I enjoyed this book and it answers some of the questions new believers are likely to have about sexuality and the bible, drugs and sin. It makes an interesting read for all new Christians especially the late teenager.
One point to note is that the author is against gay marriage and homosexuality as he reads the bible is also opposed.
The answers given to these questions are very short and to the point but there are also one minute videos on youtube to view, a memory verse from the bible related to the content and a question to ponder.

The main title is the first of 51 questions the author answers in this book. These are questions about God and Christianity that cover many interesting topics. There are also some many practical questions, like "is drinking alcohol a sin?" or "how should a christian vote?".
The answers are short, but this is what the author proposed to do, to give quick answers to these questions, and not to go into deep detail about any of them. Let's face it, just the first question alone ("Does God exist?"), if analyzed in detail, could produce a whole book (a large one in fact).
In order to provide some more information on the issues he discusses, he also provides links to videos on YouTube that conver the same topics.
It was an interesting and enjoyable read. The short answers keep the reader interested, so I must compliment the author on being able to pen good short answers to some really difficult questions.
This book is a good introduction for christians who want to start studying more about some difficult issues and also to those who want to be more prepared to explain their faith to non-believers.
