I liked two of the easy projects, maybe I'll revisit this book when I need new ideas.
1. Attempted the Chevrons pillow pattern. I was making multiple mistakes, but could not find out what they were.
2. Openwork placemats: I couldn't find yarn sizes they recommended. I did not want to use a bulkier yarn and have a chunky place mat. I tried the pattern on a thicker yarn and it was easy. This did not have a symbol diagram, but was easy enough to understand the instructions without it.
