If this is the first book you read in your life about this kind of topics, ok well maybe it might give u some useful ideas.. otherwise for an intellect, or informed reader it does not offer any new or interesting or useful knowledge.. just same talks. Partly boring... I would expect much better content from a author wth Dr title...

For a book about marketing its cover is quite misleading. At the back, it just says "Don't go unnoticed. Make an impact. Let lead psychologist Dr Rob Yeung walk you through the proven psychology of How to Stand Out." So, from this, I thought it was largely a psychology book, about what makes our brains notice somethings more than others. Nowhere did it mention marketing.
As a marketing book... it's ok. Some above average insight, that's it. One interesting thing here and there, but overall very basic.

Sadly, this book didn't live up to it's promise of "How to Stand Out." As a "How" book, it was more intellectual than practical. Though equally to be fair to the author, as a speaker myself, it didn't teach me anything new - however for a newbie to speaking they will gain some advice - though it may be too highbrow for them.

A set of instructions to make you achieve entitlement, recognization, and productivity in life. However, my first impression of this book is bound with the previous experience with many other self-help books. Do not have enough time to read every detail carefully, but it would be a good digest for "cloudy days"
