Loved this book. An easy and fairly quick read. It was great to see characteristics I could relate to and already had, yet be encouraged to develop other traits. Lots of good quotes. Makes one consider the impact we are having. Will definitely read this again.

I liked this book. I loved the author's wide range of real life female leaders as examples of each quality, and some of her descriptions of the character qualities necessary in a leader were quite perceptive. My favorite was probably her distinction between knowledge and wisdom-- that knowledge is the tools in a tool belt and wisdom is knowing how to use those tools. Both important and useless without the other!
I only gave this book three stars however, because I found it a little repetitive at times (several character qualities I would consider synonyms and probably shouldn't have each had an entire chapter). The writing style was also a little simplistic for my taste, which combined with the repetition left me bored and skimming in some parts.
I would however, absolutely recommend this book for a young lady I respected of about high school age. I think this book could have imparted a lot of wisdom to me at that age and saved me some trouble!

I think this book challenges us on how we can be a leader or be the person God made us to be. I liked it very much.
