The Handbook of Practical Program Evaluation introduces readers to up-to-date expert insight, tools and tangible examples for program evaluation. Newcomer uses robust analysis and carefully curated case studies to unpack complexities related to performance monitoring, program outcomes, stakeholders and so much more.

I had to read this book as part of a graduate course on program evaluation and liked it way more than I thought it would. This is probably one of the most useful textbooks that I have ever been assigned. . I found the scope of this book to be comprehensive and I loved the diverse, relevant and poignant examples. This is one book that I will keep nearby for the remainder of my career to quickly revert back to for expert support as needed.
