Three stars mainly because I found the editor was too brief in some areas across the lifespan. I appreciate the desire to be brief, but I felt like some areas would have benefited from an expansion of the concepts.

Dated, uneven, some assertions that are incorrect and assumptive presented as facts. Not particularly insightful. Good personal examples, but dated.

Great book as far as text books are concerned. Kept everything to the point and well organized by age. Good insights into mental and emotional development in each age range of human development.
