The bills. The mistakes. The losses. The relationships that ended. The things that didn't go the way we planned.
But some of the heaviest things we carry are buried deeper.
Old beliefs.
Old fears.
Old stories.
Expectations that were handed to us.
Pain we never dealt with.
Patterns we keep repeating without understanding why.
And sometimes, things we have been carrying for years that were never ours to begin with.
Digging Deeper is an honest look beneath the surface at the things that shape how we see ourselves, how we respond to life, and what we continue carrying long after the original moment has passed.
Through the unmistakable voice of Shovel Club Co., this book
• The history behind the dirt we carry • The things we mistake for who we are • The stories we keep telling ourselves • The illusion of control • The things we buried • The patterns we keep digging back up • The weight that was never ours to carry • What we can do with what we find
This isn't about pretending the past didn't happen.
It's not about blaming everyone who hurt you.
And it isn't about becoming some perfect version of yourself overnight.
It's about understanding.
Because what happened to you can explain you without owning you.
Your mistakes can matter without becoming your identity.
Your past can be part of your story without becoming the whole story.
Sometimes you have to dig deeper to understand what's underneath you.
