To put it plainly, Is Something Up There? is a decent enough read that introduces the topic of UFOs and paints out two opposing sides who handle UFO sightings.
I do think that no one who reads this will regret it; Dale White's ~140-page book is an enjoyable experience that brings up both popular cases of UFOs being seen as well as more obscure stories. The only real negative that I can say about this is that I personally would have liked for the author to dig into the more obscure stories and expanded a bit more on them since some seem to come to an abrupt end to bring in the next story.
In some areas of the book, the author does speak on UFO sightings by pilots and workers in the air force which include somewhat extensive paragraphs filled with aerial vocabulary and plane/ jet numbers. Unfortunately, I do think that this could turn away some readers who may not be familiar with these terms.
Overall, Is Something Up There? is a good book and a solid entry in the more series works regarding UFOs. I would recommend this to anyone who even has a mild interest in UFOs, aliens, or even just mysteries in general.

Not sure if its because of when this was written but it is really strangely worded.
None of the stories or information seem to be written with any element of seriousness and are presented more as fictional tales than actual things that happened.

The author seems to be in a weird place between thinking this entire concept is ridiculous and that the government are hiding stuff from us and is disgusted at their inaction.

Overall just weird
