I always thought the Danish Royals were more normal than other royals and I was totally wrong, at least from Trine Villemann's point of view. I can see why it is a controversial book but honestly I don't see anything that hurts the Royal Family, if anything this book pictures them as the human beings they are and I believe that is good for them.

I did not follow the Danish Royals before reading this book but the very vociferous reaction from both the palace and the royal fandom set, sent me straight out to purchase it. I passed it along to others (who agreed to do the same) and later purchased it on Kindle.

It is very enlightening on the royal family. As you would expect from such an exposé, not many were willing to speak without anonymity. Although this was used to criticize Trine on the internet, it really did not hurt the book at all. The book is not a thick work meant for scholars. It was a quick and easy read. For those with some interest in royalty, it was easy to understand and a bit shocking in revelations.
