I chose this book because I like the narrator ...But at the same time I hoped it would be less riveting than a novel because I felt I couldn't afford to be diverted from my writing project. While it's true that I was tempted away from writing less often than if I had been listening to a novel, this was definitely an interesting read! I finally downloaded the text from archive.org in order to re-read some of the more memorable(quotable) commentary.

To have a Bible in your own native tongue is such a privilege. This book can be tedious but it’s very thorough. I enjoyed the first few chapters immensely.
