Felicity Holt has one ambition—to be an on-air reporter. After a lifetime of teasing and taunts of being one of the witches in Lake Points infamous Witch House, she wants to be known as more. When it comes to men, she beds them and leaves them, because it’s far safer than getting tangled in a relationship. When Craig McAlister, one of her childhood tormenters, returns to town, all of her ambitions and rules get turned on their head.

When Craig manages to nab the coveted spot of Assistant Chief in the Lake Point fire department he returns home. Seeing Felicity again stirs up an old crush, and the more he gets to know her, the more he wants to be more than a fling.

Opportunity and ambition rear their head and put Felicity and Craig’s relationship on the line. Felicity risks everything to pursue her dream. Will reaching her goal be worth the risk of losing Craig’s love?

Hi! I’m Sarah Cass, author, nurse, mom of three, wife, and caretaker of six spoiled rescue cats. I’ve been writing stories for over 20 years, and they tend to get a little spicy, a little emotional, and a little mysterious—just the way I like them.

My published series include:
• The Dominion Falls Series – spicy historical western mystery/suspense (10 books & counting!)
• Holidays in Lake Point - A sweet small-town standalone romance collection (all set around holidays!)
• The Tribe – a shifter-based urban fantasy/paranormal romance
• And coming soon: Dark Sky Valley, a contemporary western romance set in the present-day version of Dominion Falls!

When I’m not writing or working as a nurse, you’ll find me crocheting, knitting, watching Friends or Star Trek for the millionth time, or plotting my family's next move—hopefully to Colorado!

Felicity is a reporter covering a house fire. When she sees the Hero of the fire, she recognizes him instantly. Craig doesn't seem to know her but when she goes to the fire station, she sets him straight. He instantly regrets how he treated her when they were younger. They fall into a friends with benefits relationship but Craig finds himself wanting more. Can he accept her for what she is. She tells him of her lineage and he seems to accept. When the reporter in her uncovers a huge story, she has to run with it. It turns her town and her relationship with Craig upside down. Craig feels betrayed and is ready to let her go. Can these two put heir pride aside and see the love that is between them? I firmly believe that real love always wins in the end.

This book was fabulous. Excellent writing. The storyline was right on point and reading this book will bring out many emotions. Great great read!!!

This is first book I have read in the Holidays in Lake Point Series, and Witch Way is set around Halloween - my favourite time of the year!

Felicity Holt is a journalist and when out covering a fire story she gets a glimpse of the hero & new  Assistant Chief  for the fire dept, only to discover it is someone from her childhood who used torment her,  Craig McAlister. She has spent her life growing up to the taunts of being called a witch and seeing him brought the torment he and his brother put her through back. Though it didn't stop her going after him.

I really loved Felicity and her feisty attitude and Craig - is a fireman, so whats not to love about that, it seemed that fate possibly had a part in them coming together after all these years, and we learn that Craig has had a crush on her since they were little, but boys being boys he chose to let his friends egg him on with the torment rather than admit his crush!

There is no denying the attraction between them but Felicity is a love them and leave them kinda girl who doesn't do relationships, but her Aunt nudges her to give it a try with Craig and so she agrees to go on a date - which turns into a disaster which she feels is proving her point that her and relationships don't work.

The story is short so the timeline moves rather quick jumping from one week to a few weeks later kinda thing, which is fine, but I really wanted all their story, this was just too short for me as I loved the characters so much!

This is a clean romance with a hint of sex but no gratuitous scenes.

Felicity and Craig are the stars of this storyline. She is filled with ambition and lack of trust in men, in relationships. Craig returns into her life and challenges her beliefs. When she finally relaxes and allows him to enter her heart, Fate provides an opportunity that she finds too tempting to pass up. The consequences of her spur-of-the-moment decision becomes devastating to their young, vulnerable relationship. Thoroughly enjoyed the changes in both people as they got to know each other more and chose to let the past stay in the past. The big test of ambition over love was especially exciting and entertaining. I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars.

The story of Felicity and Craig is breathtaking. You will not only be wanting to laugh but you feel the desire. The details are very well written and you will not be disappointed. It is a very fast paced and easy read that will play through your head like a movie. This series will keep you interested and highly entertained. Each book is placed around a holiday. The title goes along with each holiday. This book Witch Way goes with Halloween. Each book can be a stand alone and will not need to be read in order. I was given an ARC for my honest review.

This story is about Felicity and Craig. The grew up together and she was just a typical little girl picked on by the annoying little boys Craig being one of them. The rumors of where she lived and what her aunt was made her able to be picked on. Felicity always believed she would never have a happy ending in life. will Craig be the one to change her outlook on life or will she let what she believed about her life stand in her way. This was another story that gens you and you can't wait to finish.

I learned some really cool things with this book, such as Samhain is not pronounced 'sam-hane', but 'sow-en'. That was something neat. This book was a fun read, following Felicity, who as a child was taunted and teased because of her Aunt Patty. What did Aunt Patty do that 'encouraged' the rumors that went around about her family? Enter Craig, a man from Lake Pointe that has returned, joining the fire department as an assistant chief. Felicity works as the 'Fire Reporter' for the local newspaper and sees him after he has only been back in town a couple of weeks and remembers him being one of her torturers in High School. Watching as these two become 'reacquainted' was fun. When Felicity is assigned a story by her boss at the newspaper that is off her normal beat, what happens? When she tries to bring the upcoming story to Craig's attention before it breaks, can she do it? When she tells him to watch the news and on what channel and time that night, what does he say and do? Who is Jalynn? This book is full of secrets, some intrigue, some sleuthing, romance, and blossoming love. Definitely a worthy book to read just in time for Halloween!

I liked the combination of characters in this one, a hot firefighter against a modern day witch very unusual. Craig and his twin brother grew up in Lake Point but moved away through college and their careers, firefighter Craig has just moved back with an opening in the local fire station ideal timing as he needs to finalise stuff with his grandparents estate. Felicity has always lived there, mostly as a loner and oddity in town and school, teased and almost bullied because of her family and background. The mix between these two is handled just right, the witch side of things not to overboard or in your face so keeping it believable. I would have liked a bit more of the firefighting but understand that it is the romance that is the main focus of the story. I like as well that though there are a few problems that crop up it isn't dragged out to long, it is handled talked through and dealt with. Another nice gentle romantic tale to add to this series.

RECIEIVED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW

Well Craig and Felicity are old classmates and as most little boys and girls. Boy picks on girl and girl lets it happen. But it doesn't help with the rumors about the house she lives in or what they call her Aunt. Now all grown up will these two finally start to act on their old feeling for each other or will Felicity let what she believes get in the way of learning to let go and let live in?
