This book tells of the destruction of the Amazon Rain Forest, written by two research journalists. I read it in 1984. I was just reading parts of it again in 2019 and it’s tragic that none of the research of 35 years ago has made a significant difference. Humans continue the destruction that is described, and continue on a path which will devastate our planet. So sad!
